I want to bring to your notice that 'Reliance Nippon Life Insurance' is making fool to people by providing wrong information . They are misleading the customers
I bought Money back plan via distance mode and Policy No is :53805202.
Initially theye made some promises about the policy like cash back and all but later on i got to know it was given wrong information there was no such cash back. So I decided to cancel the policy in the freelook period.
I called on their customers care number and one of customer executive told me the incubation period was for 15 days when policy started rather it's 30 days in my case.
So I visited the nearest branch and submitted all the relevant documents and after a few days I got message that my service request is closed with the reason that the freelook period is over.
Just wanted to clarify I got a bond softcopy link on SMS and in SMS it is clearly mentioned that the 30days free look period will start from the day when I receive this SMS. Same thing was told to me by their sales executive who sold me this policy.
Since I took this policy with distance mode, it's mentioned in the bond as well it's a 30 days free look period if policy is taken via distance mode.
I got the SMS and bond on 18th Nov so freelook period would be till 17th Dec.
I raised the request on 11th Dec to cancel the policy, with in freelook period. Now They are completely flipping over with their words which is clearly written in SMS and bond and they've cancelled the service request.
I've attached SMS screen print and bond print where it is clearly mentioned the freelook period is 30 days, with this mail.
I just wanted to request you to take urgent action against Reliance Nippon LIfe insurance and get my policy cancelled and return my money back. Was this information helpful? |
