Reliance Life Insurance — Fraud/Mis selling policy by North India Finserve Pvt Ltd. broker of Reliance Nippon Life

I am Surjeet Upadhyay, in the month of July 2019 I got a call from executive Rohit Sharma([protected]) who confirmed me that he was calling from Reliance Nippon and told that my contact number has been selected for Guaranteed Money back Plan where he explained that the policy lock in period is only two year and after that anytime you are free to withdraw your policy with minimum 17% of profit as well as you will get 40% of your first premium amount at the time of surrender of Policy.

I was expecting good return for the policy as promised but later on Rohit has started to avoid my calls I have tried his no thousand times but he ignored me. On the time of premium payment he assigned another executive Mansi Gupta( [protected]) [protected]@gmail.com after me by saying that company has terminated Rohit Sharma for his activities and she urged me to pay the premium and I have done the same to avoid the policy laps. After this same day night Rohit Sharma has called me with another mobile no ([protected]) with assurance that whatever he has committed for that policy is true. Next day I called Reliance Nippon Customer care and I was shocked to listen that the all commitments done by Rohit are totally fake and my money is stucked for 15 year, even on the time of policy I have clearly told Rohit that I have housing loan( 75 Lacs) so I can’t think of long term, I need a plan for short term like 3-4 years only. he assured me that you can withdraw your money anytime after completion 2 yrs of lock in period with all the said profits.

When Mansi Gupta start to ignore my calls a new person Vinay Sharma ([protected]) started to talk to me by saying that he is direct employee of Reliance Nippon and tried to convince me that he will resolve the issue and refund my policy 100%.now when I am calling to the same mobile some other guy Mohit Sharma start to talk and convince me the same things which Rohit has committed previously.


I believe that whatever this Agent is doing is serious criminal offence and I personally have seen almost 40-50 complaints against them I don’t know why Reliance Nippon has not taken serious action against this broker.

I request Reliance Nippon company to take some strict action against this Agent/Broker who is doing fraud continuously by giving false commitments on behalf of Reliance Nippon and cheating innocent customer on the name of self-announced fake commitments of policies on name of Reliance Nippon Life Insurance which is definitely spoiling such a big name like Reliance.

Hence I would request you to cancel the license of the agent and take strict against them and refund me my money.
The act of agent is dragging me to take legal action against him as well as Reliance Nippon Life Insurance and I have enough proofs to drag down the broker.
I have lot of respect for Reliance Company but they resolve my issue as it is hard earned money of mine.
