[Resolved] Reliance Netconnect — Account disconnection getting delayed | |||
My reliance netconnect data card([protected]) stopped working some 5 months ago. I had to call customer care (cc) quite a few times before I could get proper address and contact details of their service center to get the device replaced. (My device is within warranty period as it is not one year yet since I signed up with Reliance)But the contact numbers they gave for the service center were either not in use or not reachable. Hence we decided to disconnect the service as I have been paying bill without even using the service. I called cc and asked them to disconnect the account in November (29th I guess) and they said it will be done in 15 days. I also complained about paying bills without using the service and was told they will waive off 3 months bills. But I have been receiving bills after that and worse, account is not yet disconnected. Every week I call cc, they give excuses such as it will be disconnected, they are escalating to the concerned team, I will get a call back and what not. Meanwhile I end up paying the bill for such a worst service. For the last 3-4 times whenever I called CC I end up getting disconnected. I asked to speak to their supervisor couple of times and told please don't disconnect, they either hang up or put me on mute for quite sometime before disconnecting. Its really a frustrating experience having to deal with such worse cc who doesn't even basic courtesy while dealing with a customer. Also, even when I explicitly ask for a reference number for the call, they don't provide me one. Now all I want is my last month's bill (I have paid all the bills till now inspite of not using the service) to be waived off and my account to be disconnected without further delay.
