Reliance Trends — Concern Regarding Exchange Experience at Reliance Trends Rajendra Nagar, Indore

Today, I visited the Reliance Trends store located in Rajendra Nagar, Indore, and purchased several items, including a waist belt (size 32). The belt was not part of any promotional offer or discount.

Within an hour of the purchase, I returned to the store to exchange the belt for a smaller size (size 30). Unfortunately, the staff member at the billing desk was extremely uncooperative and declined the exchange without any discussion. He stated that accessories are not eligible for exchange or return, but I could not find any signage or written policy in the store or on the bill that supports this claim. Moreover, his behavior was discourteous and dismissive, which made the experience quite unpleasant.

As I was left with no alternative, I had to purchase another belt in the correct size. I am attaching both purchase bills to highlight the timing of the transactions and the return policy printed on the reverse side. I have reviewed the policy and did not find any mention of exclusions for accessories or the specific product I purchased.

I kindly request you to clarify the exchange policy for accessories and share any official documentation that outlines this restriction. I would also appreciate it if you could look into the conduct of the staff member involved, as courteous customer service is essential to a positive shopping experience.
