We had a small shipment of boxes clearing our loft in the UK shipped by Relo UK to Jeddah (via Dubai) where Relo UK used the services of Relo Gulf in Dubai. Relo Gulf received our boxes in Dubai and sent the boxes on to a company called Trans Ocean Freight in Ajman. According to Relo UK, they had paid Relo Gulf their full dues. TOFA refused to send our boxes to Jeddah as they said Relo Gulf had not paid them. Relo UK then paid TOFA direct for the Ajman-Jeddah shipping, and our boxes have eventually arrived. From beginning to end it has taken over a year. I have spoken to the Relo Gulf people before and have had similar experiences to the posts. My advice to anybody caught in all this is to find out where their goods are being kept, and to make a deal with whoever is holding your goods. The TOFA people in Ajman were very co-operative and helpful. I think they still had some stuff belonging to other people. The TOFA contact in Ajman is Mr. Koshy, tel[protected]. You never know, Mr. Koshy may have your valuable possessions in his warehouse in Ajman. Hope all this helps Was this information helpful? |
