Hi,

I bought a Renault Kwid on January 6th 2017 from Renault Dealer (Bhim Auto Gorakhpur). The dealing with this enterprise has been nothing but pain stacking and tideous. Please read the events below to understand the gravity and current situation.

1. January 6 While being overseas in Australia me and my wife decided to buy the Renault Kwid AMT as we needed a vehicle in lucknow while my son is undergoing treatment for Speech difficulty. Buying a car should have been a very simple task right or I thought so. I sent a cheque for the Vehicle in full amount and the Dealer lost the cheque had to make a fair few phone calls to ICICI Bank to cancel the lost cheque and re issue a new cheque which was done a new cheque was issued and dated the full amount of the car was paid after the new cheque was submitted to the bank. On arriving back to India and heading to the Dealer to receive my new vehicle with excitement the vehicle being delivered was in a very tacky condition with mud stains in the and fungus residue in the head lamps after refusal of taking possession of the vehicle a new car was replaced. As per norms the registration of the Vehicle is to completed by the the dealer however I as a customer paying the fees and the extras and had to run around for 4 days to complete the registration myself. The question I ask is this how a new car is received.

2. February 6 On taking the car for its first service at Renault Service Centre (Anand Auto Tech in Lucknow) after service the vehicle was giving indications of battery issues the service centre was advised of the same and they advised that a brand new cars battery was faulty. The car was taken back within couple of hours and was advised no techs were available and to comeback the next morning the same evening the car stopped completely and called the Helpline no response had to look for an external car service centre who took 200 rupees and found that the service centre did not connect the battery wires correctly and hence the issue. the day will never be forgotten as my autistic son had to be sent home by an auto with my domestic help while I got the car moving again.

3. February 26 the vehicle had a new problem with it stalling in the middle of the road frequently a sound coming out of the rear right hand side wheel and the driver door window making a rattling noise with vehicle being a serious safety concern of stalling on highways and heavy traffic where the vehicle had to be restarted time and time again the car was taken back to Renault Service Centre (Anand Auto Tech Lucknow) who assessed the car and could not unidentify the issue and advised the car seems alright after driving away and the car stalling again the car was taken back right away and the Engineer whilst in the vehicle and stalling advised me that I must have hit the Neutral gear while The engineer watching me drive and the fact that there is no gear but a nob that needs to be rotated to function the gear box finally after 14 calls and no loaner vehicle and managing with a cost of an auto and paying for a whole day the car issue was resolved .

4. March 11 drove back to Gorakhpur our hometown for holiday break and on Saturday March 12 the car's cluster board lite up with the engine and wiring issue called the Engineer of Renault in Lucknow Anwar who was advised of the issue advised do not drive but take to the nearest Renault Service centre in Gorakhpur where the car was bought advised nothing would open till 15th of march where I needed to return to Lucknow on the 14th for my sons treatment had no choice but to get my second car from home. After the car was dropped of on the 15th of march Mr Ajay Chaurasiya The MD of Renault Gorakhpur advised me that Engineers are on holiday and will not return till 16th of March i advised sure no problem please have the issue fixed. After making calls 4 times to the Renault helpline finally a call from Renault Service centre was made to me advising me that the accessories like the reversing camera the Day time Running Lights, Horn and a spoiler was causing the issue and have to be removed which was installed by MG Charriots a dealer of Renault in Lucknow. I refused and advised that the car has virtually been to the service centre every week and that when asked and spending the money to installing these accessories was informed me that they will not cause any issues .

This has been a very painful, Frustrating and stressful last 2 months as for having a autistic childs treatment going on at the same time while running around trying to have a vehicle fully functional there are 2 lakh units of Kwid running on indian roads with after market accessories and no issues. There are 2 million Vehicles from all kinds of Manufactures across india with after market accessories and no problems what so ever. When this question was asked no answer was given upon asking to speak to a senior manager advised none were available and that the resolution is remove the accessories and the vehicle will be repaired I refuse this resolution as a resolution is an agreement between 2 parties to an understanding outcome this is not it is a outcome for Renault at there convince. I have now left the car back at the Original Point of Sale and will not be picking it up as I now need my money back after a vehicle has so many issues in just 2 months. I have other vehicles and have never had any issues what so ever...

I want my money Back and refuse to take the vehicle back the Vehicle has been dropped back at Renault Gorakhpur ( Bhim Motors Gorakhpur from where the vehicle was bought)

I have added all the best media outlets to this email and would want other customers to be made aware of the issues with and the bulling of Renault in India.
