[Resolved]  Renault — Sub: serious technical problem occurred with the newly purchased vehicle renault "duster-adventure"

Recently i purchased one duster-adventure from the renault show room at, thiruvananthapuram, kerala. The vehicle has been used only below 3000 km and the first free service of the vehicle has been done very recently. The vehicle is being used only for my personal purpose

I have been using four wheelers by the last 25 years. I purchased renault vehicle under the impression that it is one of the best reputed companies having very good quality vehicles in the world. However i am so disappointed to explain the following incident occurred with me and my sister on our way back to home town from thiruvananthapuram.

Both o[censored]s were travelling on[protected] afternoon through the nh bypass thiruvananthapuram. On our way at around 1600hrs the vehicle got a serious technical problem, large amount of smoke was started emitting from the front side of the vehicle with a bad burning smell. The emission of smoke were observed by other passengers also [pedestrian as well as travelling in other vehicles], they were shouting while observing this huge quantity of smoke emission. Somehow we could manage to stop the vehicle safely.

Since we were travelling through nh and there were a number of fast moving vehicles in the road and due to which we could not even open the door to flee from the vehicle. Finally we got some gap and could be able to open the door and came out of the vehicle. Immediately we contacted the service centre of renault, thiruvananthapuram but we were informed that it is holiday for them due to a festival at thiruvananthapuram and they cannot help us directly. They provided us a toll free number and we contacted them accordingly.

Around three and half hours we [two ladies] were waiting in the road and at around 1930 hrs only they could arrange a road assistance service to take our vehicle to the concerned service centre. As the time is running i have contacted the police control room flying squad and they only helped us a to arrange a taxi to go back to home.

I would like to inform you that i am totally upset with the performance of this brand new "duster-adventure" and at present i am scared to travel further in this vehicle

Hence i am so sorry to express my opinion that i am not at all happy with the performance of the renault vehicle and i strongly convey this message that you have to refund me the total payments so as to purchase another vehicle.
