Dear Sir, This is to bring to your notice a case of wrong balance deduction from Savings Account-[protected]. The case is as follows:- On 07.12.2017, at around 8.03 am, I walked in the ATM of Axis Bank ATM located in Raheja Square, IMT Manesar (Gurugram- Haryana ) to withdraw an amount of Rs. 20, 000/- from my savings bank account. I used the ATM & entered the amount & processed it but the machine did'nt dispensed the cash & I finished the transaction ensuring that the home page on ATM screen has come. Till that time the amount was not deducted from my account. But at 8.13.58 am I received a message from Axis Bank which showed that an amount of Rs. 40, 000/- has been deducted from my savings bank account. I was in a state of shock & hence rushed to the Axis Bank branch of IMT Manesar as soon as the branch opened & there I reported my complaint to the officials. The officials ensured me that the amount which has been wrongly deducted will be credited back in 24 hours & they also asked me to write the case on a paper & get it authenticated by Police as a precautionary step which I did. I wrote the whole incident on a paper & got it authenticated from Police Station, Manesar. The officials had told me that once I get the approved letter from Police they will take a look at the CCTV footage to get a confirmation of the incident. After waiting for 24 hours i.e. till today, no amount has been credited back to my savings account. To re-confirm & to know the further course of action I again went to the Axis Bank branch of IMT Manesar today where I talked to the officials & told them that my money has'nt came back & I need help. They then told me that it will take another 7 days to investigate the matter & get the access to CCTV footage. After receiving such an irresponsible answer I had forwarded the complaint to the consumer forum & you. Sir, I request you to kindly look into the matter on extremely urgent basis & do the needful.
