I was about to travel from Kolkata to Siliguri on 10/5/2017. My boarding point was Karunamoyee at 8 pm. I reached the bus stand at 7:40 pm to be on the safe side. I got a call from Royal Cruiser asking me where I was and informed me that the bus will arrive at 8 pm. However at 8:15 the same person called me and told me that the bus had left Karunamoyee all the winghile I was waiting for it. And in the mean time not a single royal cruiser bus had passed by karunamoyee. When i asked him why he didn't call me after reaching karunamoyee he responded by saying that he cannot call everyone all the time. He then told me to to board the bus at the airport if possible. I asked him how long was he going to stay at the airport, he stated that he wouldn't stop there, I would be getting on the bus only if I made it before him to the airport. Now it is a good 50 minutes drive from Karunamoyee to Airport during rush hour. So I took a cab and tried to reach the airport but by the time I reached there the bus had long gone. As a result I missed an important business meeting at Siliguri. This is gross incompetence from the company's side. Also I had paid 1200/- for the tickets which had gone to waste. I want a refund for the ticket and also want the company to improve their communication standards to avoid such incidents in the future.
