1st service complaint:
On August 15, 2023, I brought in my vehicle for its service due to self-noise, misfiring, and jerking issues. However, the problems were not resolved, They said the problem has been resolved. and I was charged Rs. 7899.
5 days they taken for servicing.
2nd visit for complaint resolution:
I returned on August 18, 2023, for a minor repair and complaint resolution. Unfortunately, the issue was not fixed. They mentioned they would contact me once the part became available, and I received a call in September.
3rd visit for spark clutch replacement:
On September 17, 2023, I revisited to replace the spark clutch replaced due to jerking issues. This visit incurred a cost of Rs. 13893. However, after replacing the spark clutch, new problems arose - engine noise, damaged bore, malfunctioning horn, and a drained battery. They are taking 10-20 days to replace the bore, but the engine noise persists.
Recurring issues:
In the month of October, I revisited three times due to the engine noise, horn malfunction, and battery issues.
6th visit:
On November 21, 2023, I returned for the sixth time due to the above-mentioned problems. The total cost incurred this time was Rs. 1879.
7th visit:
I dropped off my vehicle on February 28, 2024.
Date - feb 28th 2024
7th time vehicle was in the workshop for 4 months and 18 days.
Complaint - Re visted for Engine noise complaint and they said chassis defects are covered under warranty (chassis).After replacing the chassis, I received a call in the month of June. I visited the service center as the engine noise was not resolved, there was an oil leakage, and the center stand was bent, There is a different model new chassis installed. When I asked, They are saying that the chassis of your vehicle model stopped, That is the reason the upgraded model chassis from Royal Enfield was fitted.
When I left my vehicle for servicing due to self-noise, misfiring, and jerking issues, there were no other problems. However, after servicing, many new issues arose such as chassis, horn, engine noise, battery, and magnet coil problems. I paid nearly 42000 for the initial repairs, and now they are asking for additional repairs costing around 30000 for tank assembly, headwork, and back suspension. When I went to pick up my vehicle, I found that the horn was not functioning properly and some parts were missing. It took four hours to make the repairs, and they asked for an additional day to fix the issues. I am not satisfied with this service and request your team to investigate. I am not willing to pay for more repairs.
