Royal Enfield — new thunderbird 350 x gets stopped after riding few kms | |
I have been sold a defective thunderbird 350x bike. I purchased the bike on 30th july 2018 Crm number: mr[protected] Invoice number: inv[protected] Chassis number: me3u3s5c1jg347238 Model name: royal enfield thunderbird 350 x whimsical white bs 4 Hsn no: 87113020. the day i took delivery and was going back home from "go green motors" gachibowli, hyderabad to my home musheerabad hyderabad the vehicle suddenly stopped like some dust particles had come. With great difficulties i reached my home. The next day also same problem and then the next day. I have been facing the sme problem nearly daily. When i once called the roadside assistance they said this kind of problem dont come and asked me to contact the service center. They expected me to push the vechile or tow it to their service center which is 10 to 12 kms. When i call the showroom one gentleman said sir thats a normal small issue where in the air might be getting locked and i just need to open the petrol tank and again fit it back. It really helped but whenever i am travelling it happens suddenly on the main roads and the bike gets stopped as though either petrol is over or some carburetor problem. Once i open the petrol tank and close it again it runs for few kms. I am tired of this system and i am not been using this bike much especially for my office on a daily basis. Now they say that after one or 2 services the bike would be fine and all the problems will be resolved. I just want to return this defective bike and either replace it with a new bike or give my money back as i cant keep waiting and opening petrol tank so many times. I dont understand whether i have purchased a new thurderbird 350x or a second hand defective piece. Kindly look into the matter and revert back with positive actions.
