I had sent over my bike (Super Meteor 650) to MODERN MOTORS Jodhpur on 14/2/25 Friday with help of their Roadside Assistance partners as the bike refused to start at my home.
They confirmed receiving the bike and pressurized me to get a service done.
I made it extremely clear to them I need to first sort out the issue regarding the unresponsiveness of the bike and only then I will want to get a service done to which they agreed.
I was informed the next day that they had done the servicing of the bike and changed the battery under warranty as the bike was less than 2 years old and was covered under warranty for the battery.
I requested them to provide me with the details of the new battery which was swapped which they denied stating it was a third party battery hence they can't provide a bill for it.
I still insisted that I need to have my service records in proper order so at least give me a proper job card which states that indeed the battery was swapped by the professionals at their workshop.
I involved the Royal Enfield customer care too in this and to my utter surprise they connected me directly to the workshop itself again instead of their representatives.
In spite of repeated requests and emails they refused to budge and dishonored my request for proper documentation and closed the complaint itsel[censored]nilaterally without resolving it.
I even spoke with their Rajasthan ASM Mr. Anurag Sharma who assured me of a resolution, but the very next day he even refused to speak with me, and I was made to wait for over an hour in 2 consecutive calls on 18/2/25, even after which he didn't get to the call.
Kindly provide me a suitable solution as I refuse to pick my bike up from their workshop until they provide me with a proper documentation particularly in reference to the battery (manufacture date, batch number, warranty).
This otherwise seems only like a roadside mechanic doing a Shaddy job.
