[Resolved]  Royaloak Furniture — Damaged Furniture

I had purchased 3+2+1 grand recliners from Royal oak on 18th Jan 2017.
I was told furnitures will be delivered within 3 days and it will take another 3 days for installation.

Royal Oak could NOT maintain their timelines. I was told the furnitures were damaged during transport and they will send new. However same damaged furnitures were sent 2 days later. The leather was torn and had alignment problems.
On raising the complaint for the same, Arun from customer care tried to bribe me with 10k discount if i keep the damaged furniture.

The furnitures that were sent the second time also had several manufacturing defects. This time Arun said these are just installation problems and will be rectified. Arun also promised to do a full refund if these are not manufacturing defects. I allowed repairs 4 times and they were still NOT able to fix it.

It has been more than a month and it has been a total harassment from Royal Oak on refunding the money . The customer care is talking as if there there is absolutely no problems with the furnitures that are sent.

Royal Oak has extremely incompetent customer care and management.
One of the technicians who came for repair was recording the conversations
without my consent. When asked about the same, he said they need the recordings for their meetings. Things couldn't get creepier than this.

Save your time and money.
Never ever buy anything from Royal Oak.

Please do not buy anything from Royal Oak.
This might appear to be high end furniture retail store. Do NOT make the mistake of falling for it. People are extremely incompetent here. Customer care is easily one of the worst .

They do NOT even understand the concept of customer care. Royal oak exists just to rob customer money.
Nobody gives once you pay them the money. You will be harassed to death.

Once you buy anything from Royal Oak, It will be endless number of trips to the store to get your things done.
These are most dishonest people i have ever come across . Every time you will receive an excuse saying "We will discuss this on Monday meeting", "Management has said this/that **" .

Arun from Customer care who promised to refund the money if there are any manufacturing defects has started talking as if he never said something like this. Despite repeatedly sending several pics over mail/whats app nobody response.

I will not be surprised if these people go out of business within next 1 or 2 years
