[Resolved] Royaloak Furniture — Damaged product delivered - further cheating & harassment | |||
We need intevention of a consumer redressal agency / regulating body to keep a check on the mal practices of royaloak furniture (www.royaloakindia.com) .. Bought a wardrobe by making a 100% down payment. invoice number[protected]. they delivered the unassembled product in 2 days. thier assembly guys came on day 3 and while they were assembling, i noticed one of the planks were damaged (picture attached). i informed them immediately, took the picture and informed thier customer care to replace it since its a damaged piece of furniture which is sold in factory seconds. customer care reverted saying they can only do a repair under warranty. multiple phone calls, emails asking a simple question that why should a customer accept a second hand, damaged furniture for the full price paid in advance for a new??? was answered by brainless, shameless, uneducated women agents arrognatly saying we will only do a service Take it or get lost.. fill stop. as if they are doing a favour to me by repairing a peice of crap thier masters have purchased and delivered. thats the quality of character these agents bring at work. I agreed to let thier "technician" come and explain how is he going to fix the damage. the so called senior hero sharma (contact number [protected]) comes and starts chiselling the furniture instead of explaining how he is going to fix.. on being stopped, he agrees that the damage can not be patched completely and new like finish can not be achieved. however he insists that i should accept it since all royaloak customers are made to accept even bigger damages and its nothing in comparision. Finally this yet another loose character employee of royaloak agrees to arrange the replacement if i personally bribe him with a personal weekend work of polishing exisitng peices of furnitures for another few thousand rupees to be paid to him directly. the bugger took a u turn on replacement on being told that i can not accomdate his personal work this weekend since we are busy. clearly showing his ill intensions to make some money and get lost. I feel absolutely cheated, harrased by these low level employees of royal oak. nor have they been letting any responsible official come into picture who can possibly understand what is customer care, customer satisfaction, thier responsibility to deliver quality against the money they have recieved. While roayok is surely on its way to collapse with this sick arrogant mentality, i need intervention of a customer redressal body to fight my rights as a consumer... please advice. Oct 15, 2016 Complaint marked as Resolved the senior executives were reached through social mdeia and they took the action. RoyalOak Furniture customer support has been notified about the posted complaint. | |||
