Royaloak Furniture — Received damaged product - need replacement | |||||
Seems royaloak is trying to compete in indian market with international standards, however they are challenged with globally famous "the chalta hai" attitude of customer facing employees right from so called technicians to service manager to customer care agents.. Attached in the picture of what they have delivered as a new product 3 days back. Damage was brought into the notice of technicians who tried to initally hide and on being specifically brought into notice, offered do a "touch up". Since its a damage touch up can only hide the in built flaws, i registered a customer complaint (Id 3584). As response to complaint customer care have been offering to settle with only doing a touch up / patch work. I ask them why should i settle for something thats usually sold as 'factory seconds' at much discounted prices when i have paid a full price??? I call upon royaloak management team to take the responsibility of damage and provide the replacement immediately as per global quality standards. BTW heres the mail sent to customer care immediately after the discussion with so called senior tehnician.
"One Mr. Sharma called just now and again tried to convince me to get it 'repaired' stating the company policy is not for replacing any goods.He has fianally promised to work internally on the replacement and reveret back.
I once again call upon Royaloak management to be involved in the matter, take responsiblity of the damage and
replace damaged piece like its done worldwide in case of damaged product deliveries."
on top of it if the respected agent writes by distoring the fact that i did not allow the technician to visit shows the low integrity levels of the organization.

you want to send the technician to glue up / patch up the seconds material for which you have charged me the price of new???
have clearly told you this is not acceptable...please arrange to send fresh material instead of showing your "fooling the customers" attitude
