This compliant is regarding the address wrong mentioned by driving license dept. My father (Mr. Bansi lal) renewed his driving license number dl[protected] on 12th march’18 on surajmal vihar office delhi. They renewed it successfully but at the time of delivering the driving license they mentioned the wrong address 17/45, geeta colony delhi-31, instead of 17/46, geeta colony, delhi-31 which is correct, thus didn’t deliver the dl on the correct address and other persons denied to receive it. So my father had to go to post office to get the dl, that time the post master said they mentioned the wrong address.
Then we started the dl address updation/correction process again online via parivahan.gov.in. We made the online payment of rs.400 and took the appointment for surajmal vihar, delhi office for 19th march’18 to make the amendment as early as possible. My father reached on time on the day of appointment and did all the formalities properly. They said to get it within 5-6 days, but we didn’t receive within the said duration, so today, 27th march’18 my father again visited to post office to check it that they haven’t done the same mistake again and his intuition was correct. Again postmaster said he delivered on 17/45, geeta colony, delhi-31 which is wrong address. Again they charged the whole amount and didn’t do their work properly and made the same mistake again.
Now please guide us what we suppose to do after paying the amount. Will our amount be refunded??? Will they make the necessary changes by themselves??? Now where to go to make our work done within stipulated time. Early action will be appreciable.
