Hi,
I applied for a learning license (MC50CC) and booked the LL test slot at the RTO office - Amravati, from Parivahan Sewa Online Portal.
On the day of LL test appointment in the RTO office (02/03/2023), during the document verification process the police officials there said that the vehicle which comes under 50CC is not used anymore so they can't provide the license. They said that the learning license under 50CC category has been closed, even though it's there on the online portal.
As my application was not taken forward, police officials asked to apply for a refund of this LL test slot at the NIC website. But on the website there's no such option to claim this refund.
Then I sent an email to [protected]@gov.in as well and informed them about this. But they replied with application status details of some other person.
Firstly, if this license category is not applicable for anyone then it shouldn't be on the Parivahan Sewa Portal (RTO website). They're just misleading people by letting us apply for the learner license and taking the fee payment but not conducting the test. And later giving wrong information about refund process and poor service from helpdesk as well.
Kindly help to get a refund of Rs 201, for this unavailing RTO service.
