1)A/c No. [protected] in the name of Late RANI DEVI, Nominee- Pinkesh, matured on 22-Jun-2020, documents for closure submitted on 06-AUG-2020
a)The official, Mr. Deepak (Employee Code[protected] has accepted the application and acknowlegement is attached here.
b)Mr. DEEPAK informed us orally that we will get DD/Cheque after minimum 60 days and maximum time is not defined.
c) No death benefit has been provided to nominee as per policy terms (Please find attachement)
2) A/c No. [protected] in the name of Late RANI DEVI, Nominee- Pinkesh, death claim form for premature closure of policy has been sent through SAHARA Agent to SAHARA OFFICE ROHINI (7128) on 07-AUG-2020.
a) The policy started 15-APR-2019 and maturing on 15-OCT-2022.
b) We have been informed by officials in above said office that no interest will be paid from 15-APR-2019 to the date it is running and only principal amount will be paid that too will take minimum 2 months to maximum (they don't know)
c) Even after asking for acknowdgement, Agent has not provided acknowledgment slip for last 1 week and informed my family orally that the payment will come in Jan/Feb 2020.
ON WHAT BASIS, CLOSURE OF A POLICY IN SAHARA TAKES 6-7 MONTHS FOR CLOSURE???????
THEY DO NOT EVEN PAY ANY INTEREST FOR SUCH DELAYED PAYMENTS.
For our previous policies also, the Company had taken 3-6 months to settle the amount.
AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, every time a policy matures, their AGENTS and office bearers will insist to reinvest the partial amount to a new policy or else they would say payment will take more time.
I complaint against SAHARA for
- misguiding people who are illiterate and not aware about t&c.
- delaying payment of settlements.
- not providing death benefits for above mentioned policies.
- not providing interest for the period we have kept money with them.
I request the concerned authorities-
-to settle the above claims within stipulated time period. (within 45 days as mentioned on their policy terms)
- to provide whole amount along with accrued interest and death benefit as per terms.
