Sahyadri Specialty Hospital — huge administration charges from sahyadri hospital nashik

Dear team,

This is reference to the patient priti kiran nikam, huge amount other expenses (Administration charges) rs. 5726.74/- imposed in final settlement bill. Please find attached summary.

I have objections over other expenses (Administration charges) rs. 5726.74/- which is 10% of the total amount.

1. Why the hospital should impose administrative charges additionally of 10%, although all other fees under various heads are already recovered in excess and at inflated rates.

2. Is that the reason why the hospital collecting rs. 10, 000/- in advance from the patients in-spite of cashless claims?

3. The hospital's customer care says that admin expenses of 10% is hospital's policy and it's right of the hospital to recover these charges at any cost from all category of cash/cashless patients. Also no one can challenge the hospital legally.

Very unfortunate, i was not supposed to choose hospital like this.
Is it possible to to take rigorous action against the hospital due to unethical practices. This hospital has the motive to business rather than to provide services to the patients.
