I am filing this complaint against Sai Education and Job Consultancy for non-refund of the remaining balance amount of ₹50, 000 despite repeated assurances, commitments, and follow-ups.
I paid a total amount of ₹1, 00, 000 in July 2024 for an assured job placement. As the promised service was not provided even after more than 1.5 years, I requested a full refund as per the agreement.
All refund-related communication was handled by Ms. Amutha (Senior HR) on behalf of the consultancy. After prolonged follow-ups, only ₹50, 000 was refunded as a partial payment. The remaining balance amount of ₹50, 000 is still pending.
A written commitment was given that the balance refund would be processed on 29/12/2025 by 3:30 PM. Based on this commitment, I visited the consultancy office on 29/12/2025 at 3:30 PM to resolve the matter.
During the office visit, I was assured that the refund would not be delayed any further and was requested to wait until 7:15 PM on the same day for the refund to be processed. I waited patiently until 7:30 PM; however, the amount was not credited. When I called for an update after this time, there was no response.
As there was no action even after the revised time, I sent a formal escalation message through WhatsApp and email documenting the delay.
On the next day, 30/12/2025, I received a phone call stating that the cheque for the remaining amount had been issued the previous night and that the refund would be processed on 30/12/2025. I requested this information to be shared in writing through message or email. However, no written confirmation or update was provided.
I followed up again by message requesting an update by 1:00 PM on 30/12/2025, but there was still no response. I also attempted to contact the consultancy multiple times on the same day without success. I waited until 7:30 PM on 30/12/2025, but even by the end of the day, there was no update, no written confirmation, and no credit of the remaining ₹50, 000.
This establishes a consistent pattern of:
- Partial refund without completing the full refund
- Repeated missed refund deadlines
- Reliance on verbal assurances instead of written confirmation
- Lack of response even after formal escalation
- Deficiency of service and unfair trade practice
I am in possession of complete evidence including:
- Original payment receipt for ₹1, 00, 000
- Proof of partial refund of ₹50, 000
- Written commitment mentioning the refund date and time
- Records of escalation messages and communication attempts
I request immediate refund of the remaining balance amount of ₹50, 000 and appropriate action to ensure resolution of this matter.
