My samsonite bag's roller less than 1 year already wear off hence we took the bag to " SAMSONITE AFTER SERVICE " in Malaysia to repair . terrible happen the way they service is to crack open the bag and without proper tools, in additional they charge RM 160 per pair of roller. (with this amount now i can actually buy a new travel bag.

    I would like to inform you regarding the delay in the servicing of my SAMSONITE LUGGAGE BAG XION 2-SP D BROWN 78CM AT A RETAIL OUTLET AT MANGALORE (SHOP NUMBER FF2 CITY CENTRE MALL, KS RAO ROAD MANGALORE PH:[protected].



    I had purchased the bag from JP COLLECTIONS (EXCLUSIVE SAMSONITE SHOWROOM) NO 19 9TH MAIN ROAD, 4TH BLOCK, JAYANAGAR, BANGALORE[protected] ON 7TH JULY 2009. THE BAG IS UNDER WARRANTY FOR 10 YEARS.



    This bag due to some engineering defect used to have wear and tear of only one wheel, which i had complained at bangalore within one month of purchase. The problem was not rectified completely. They changed the wheel and gave it back.



    This problem again happened to me as the engineering defect persisted, so i had met the showroom at mangalore on 19/08/2012. I was promised the repair in one week. Its already four weeks now. I have called up multiple times for the bag, I have not got any proper response till now. Either i am told that it will be ready next week or tomorrow. that next week or tommorrow has never appeared.



    The people in the showrooms of this samsonite company are very casual about servicing which is bringing a bad name to the reputed company.

      I am Christo Rajan, a researcher at Regional Cancer Centre, medical College, Thiruvananthapuram. My brother had purchased a Samsonite Unity laptop backpack(black) worth INR.3200/- from BagZone Lifestyles Pvt.Ltd, LBS Marg, Ghatkopar(W), Mumbai on 24th of December 2008. The water-proof rain coat as they call it was a big failure as it was 100% water permissive and tore off at the base. I sent it back to Mumbai and got it stitched back and was told that I would'nt get a replacement on the same. Then I noticed that the inner bottom side of the backpack greasing against the body gradually started tearing apart and so did the handle. Added to this the faulty raincoat attached to the backpack was giving me serious problems as I belong to a state blessed with heavy monsoon. So on the 7th of August 2012, I submitted the bag to get it repaired at the Samsonite sale and service centre (Samsonite Travel World, Pazhavangadi, Thiruvananthapuram-23) and was asked to expect a call back shortly. Hence-on the real attitude of this company and its sales and service person came evident to me. Each time I call up, they make some or the other lame excuse, the bag as they say was taken to Cochin from Thiruvananthapuram, inspected, case sent to Mumbai with photographs of the same, reviewed.etc.etc.etc....Finally after being kept in the dark for three weeks, absolutely no response, I call up over and over again to finally hear from them that the Instructions from Bombay was to return the Backpack to me in the same condition as I had handed it. Well it took them three weeks to decide and I on the contrary had to call them to find out the same. The claim they say is not valid as it was not a stitching defect but wear and tear...then why on earth do these guys give a three year WARRANTY...????..wear and tear took its toll on the bag coz the material used was sub-standard..They say that the innerside of the backpack hugging to the body had frictioned against the body to cause wear and tear...i.e they themselves say that their backpack is not usable as a backpack..so no wear and tear...I'm surprised, given the companys repute and brand value as to how these guys come-up with such horrible explanations. Unfortunately I do not have photographs of the defect to present here but with what i mentioned above things might be quite clear i presume. What should I do..???..Now-on Its no more Samsonite....!!!

      The Lug Line: Fake Samsonite Dealer from 1E Dover Lane, Kolkata-29

      I had purchased Samsonite COSMOLITE SPINNER 55 trolley soft-suitcase from The Lug Line, 1E Dover Lane, Kolkata- 700029 in the month of October 2010.
      At the time of purchase there was nothing unusual externally about the Samsonite luggage pack. It looked absolutely genuine from outside.
      But within a month of the purchase, the suitcase body ruptured and the stitches came loose. I took the Samsonite suitcase to the Authorized Samsonite Service Center (92 Eliot Road, Kolkata- 700016). Samsonite Service Center informed me to my utter surprise that the Samsonite set is a FAKE one. The Samsonite Service Center also informed me that it is the fourth time that a fake Samsonite luggage has been reported to them. In all the cases the seller was The Lug Line, 1E Dover Lane, Kolkata- 700029.
      I also came to know that The Lug Line is involved in many corrupt practices like replacing parts of original Samsonite & American Tourister luggage with cheap local made ones. It is the business of duping customers with fake branded suitcases.
      The Lug Line & its owner Debasish Datta is a bloody CHEAT.
      Moreover I got information from the local municipal councilor (ward no: 86) that this Debasish Datta was once arrested by Kolkata Police for creating and distributing pirated pornographic Blue Film CDs. The adjacent cyber café (The Internet Club) of Debasish Datta was used for these nefarious activities.
      This post is to make consumers aware of dishonest sellers like The Lug Line & its owner Debasish Datta, so that they are not cheated with fake branded luggage.

        After 01 month, i found front runner is not working properly, I submitted the bag to company showroom (Please find attached “Service After Sale Report”) to get repaired.
        I tried to contact compony but till now I am not receiving any positive reply from the company.

          I had bought a 'bucket bag' with steel studs of the La via company from the Samsonite showroom in Salt Lake City Centre -I (ground floor) Kolkata, West bengal. The purchase was made approximately 7-8 months back for a considerable high price of sixteen or seventeen hundred rupees.It was quite an attractive and new launch(hardly 3 to 4 months) and had a good market response.On the day of my purchase, the outlet had just two stocks of this item-- one, a blue variety and the second was the white bag but with a minor defect i.e.three scratch marks on the leather of the right handle. Upon asking, they clarified that due to this defect they are allowing a reduction of price, which was otherwise priced at approx. 3000/- but beyond this they assured me of no other damage. Feeling assured, I bought it but after that, with just one usage on a tour to Srinagar, I have surprisingly noticed a sudden, patchy, blackening of the feather-white surface leather colour with molecular, sporadic, black dots settling on it. Along with this, after a lapse of 18-20 hours, there is gradual peeling of outside leather. The look was so atrocious that after a tour of 9 days I had to pack my hand bag and put it in my luggage and carry it back to Kolkata. In Kolkata, I had approached the Samsonite outlet in city center-1, who had taken several photos of the affected areas and sent an e-mail to the concerned authority. But no response has been recd as yet.

            It has been nearly four months since I sent my Samsonite backpack for repair under warranty in Singapore. I have not been able to get through their phone. Every call took me to their phone mail box to hear an announcement that the mail box was full. Mulitple calls to the head office of Samsonite Singapore also fell on deaf ears or that the three staff whom I spoke with earlier had already resigned.

            Yesterday, I had no choice but to email Samsonite US Head Office and Samsonite Regional Head Office in Hong Kong. I had to also give the Samsonite Singapore Office an ultimatum that I would not hesitate to get a lawyer to handle this S$130 backpack issue or the media to do a story on the bad service I have been experiencing. Someone finally called me last evening to say the voucher was ready for my collection. But to my horror, and to add insult to injury for keeping me in the dark for nearly 4 months, the voucher they issued me was not for the full value of the backpack.

            When I bought the backpack, I received a 10% discount using my Amex card and Samsonite is now insisting that should I want a similar backpack worth S$130 as a replacement for the one that had manufacturing defects, I will have to pay them 10% on top of the voucher value. Is this fair?

            Furthermore, I noticed the Singapore Samsonite Service Centre was in a mess. I asked the staff what happened. They said they were moving out. I asked where to. They said "Samsonite closing down". I was shocked. I do not think Samsonite is closing down. But the staff looked rather unhappy and were venting their unhappiness through the customers, hoping to sabotage the business. I managed to get to speak with the manager and he was someone who could give his staff hell. He was very arrogant and rude and I could tell that his staff didn't quite like him. It is no wonder so many staff had resigned, the office is in a mess, no one picks up phone calls or clears phone mail messages. I told one of the staff I would do them a favour and complain to Samsonite head office about this terrible manager. He thanked me repeatedly. I hope Samsonite will do something quick before the manager cause more damage to its brand and market share. I have been a loyal Samsonite customer for many years. But I will never touch another Samsonite product from now on.

            Totally agree with you. Iam facing the same problem. The after sales service is the worst I ever experienced.
            Completely agree with you. I had bought a premium Samsonite bag which i thought would last me at least till the warranty period ended. But in two years the zipper went bad and i sent it for repairing. After few weeks I got a call saying that the zipper is not repairable and that they will replace the bag. When i went to the store, they said they will only replace the amount of the MRP of the bag that i had purchased 2 yrs ago. Obviously in 2 yrs the price on the bag had gone higher. How can they expect me to pay the difference in the amount(which is a huge amount) since this is a premium bag. What is the point of the warranty then? I paid a premium price for the bag because it had a warranty. If i knew the bag would only last me 2 yrs I would have rather purchased a cheap unbranded bag which, used it for 2 yrs and threw it on breaking down. What was the point of getting an expensive bag?
            My suitcase has manufacturing defect. When I sent it to the service centre they refuse to honour the warranty claiming that it is cut. Needless to say, it is a clear case of manufacturing defect. The company has tried to stitch the suitcase with minimum fabric and the stitches have been put at the end of the fabric resulting in tearing of the fabric from the stitches. While any lay man can easily point out to the manufacturing defect the service staff in Delhi is adamant and arrogant in claiming that it is a cut.

            All my pleas to bring to his attention the cloth pulling off from the stitches has fallen in deaf ears,

            The company's claim of a three year warranty is a total farce.
            Sent my leather bag for repair but not only I didn't get any respond from them after 3-4 days as promised. Multiple calls to the service center simply go unanswered. Such a mess right now and have to go down personally to ask what is going on with my bag! There is absolutely no way I will get a Samsonite again. The service center in Samsonite Singapore is completely out of order. To anyone who is reading this, I strongly suggest you avoid Samsonite at all cost.

              I have bought an Americal Tourister Trolley Bag last Week for a Price of Rs 4650 from BAGZONE LIFESTYLE PVT. LTD. INORBIT MALL, Survey No. 64 (part 1) APIIC Layout, Hitech City, Madhapur, Hyderabad - 50081.

              I have used it for a domestic travel from Hyderabad to Kolkata on 18 Sep. The code of the bag is 22Z(0) 08003 ARIZONA[protected] cm Grey. The quallity of the cloth is not at all good and is torned off during first transit.

                It is a pathetic experinece buying a Laptop strolly from Samsonite Showroom located at Mumbai Airport for a worth of Rs. 11,500/- .Which will not work a Single Day I personally visited there service centre three times but there is manufacturing fault in Bag everytime engineer told me that this will not repeat again but again after two days this will repeat & bag is usless for me.I am unable to find any complaint i.d on web site which doen not look nice for company like samsonite.

                Today fifth time I again sumbitted my Strooly to M/S Bagzone Lifestyles P.Ltd G-24 Sector -18 Gautam Budh Nager U.P.Wide slip Number 5539 Now I am gifting this bag to samsonite without any money.

                  I had purchased a samsonite stroller from TGIP, Noida from Samsonite own outlet on 11th feb 2011 with a lifetime service warranty. Since setting up the combination lock is bit tedious i asked them to set it at 123. I had to go to Malaysia for a week's official trip. every part of the suitcase was working fine, I had almost locked and unlocked my suitcase 6 times.There on the 3nd day, the lock got jammed and didnot open. I had to take assistant from hotel staff who could only break open the slider. On my return flight i had to pay 8 MYR to airport authority to seal my luggage. Immediately on return I took my suitcase to samsonite's outlet for a slider replacement. There what they billed me was 250/- for slider. I showed them my warranty card and told my entire situation of the faulty lock. They told me, in that case i should hav brought back the suitcase in the locked condition. How ridiculous tha a person will have to spend a official trip with clothes and essentials all locked!!!!!!!!!! Its a shameful experience with samsonite, being a big brand, selling of suitcases worth 10000/- n they behave in such a ridiculous manner with customers in replacing a zip's slider or a chinese make lock. this warranty was just a eyewasher for such a brand's sick policies.

                    I came across your complain today on this website but fail to realise that my books of accounts do not show any stock of the item Samsonite COSMOLITE SPINNER 55 trolley in the last one year and neither does any bill copy of Cash Memo (sales) support the said sales again in the last one year.
                    I would suggest that you bring the cash memo (sales) and the gurantee card which was duly stamped and signed by the concerned Sales person of the company for us to investigate the matter.
                    Its funny that I am neither aware of my arrest nor does the Kolkata police.
                    I would suggest that next time when you get some information you don't put on to someone like our beloved local municipal councilor just to tarnish my image and his because I know him personally and I know he cannot tell you anything whatever you have spoken of.

                      I bought a pair of Samsonite Shoes worth INR 6490 from Shoppers Stop Malad Mumbai. To my horror, a few days later I realised that there was a color difference between the left and the right pair. I promptly contacted their office in Mumbai and was offered to take my shoes to the Samsonite Store in Inorbit in Malad and take a replacement. The replacement offered by the Samsonite Store had a worse color difference between the left and the right piece. I promptly went to Shoppers Stop and showed them the color difference. They readily agreed to replace but alas the replacement this time too had a huge color difference.

                      It is very evident that the company is not following any quality control and has been defective and poor quality shoes in the market and very high prices. Guys please be careful before you touch a Samsonite product specially the shoes.

                      I had purchased Shoes from Samsonite Show room of GK-1 New Delhi.Within 4days I observered that one shoe is getting erroded from the TIP.
                      Because the shoe is has a matted designed(no proper one pice leather) this has taken place.
                      I tried explanning this to Mr.Ravi, he could not understant and said that somebody has tried to deliberately spoil it.
                      I want to state that I have not done anything deliberate nor is this accidental as I wore this for normal party use.
                      I also expect the shoe to to be hardy enough so that it can go on for at least 1year and not get spoiled in just 6days that too by normal daily use.
                      I now want that you give me new shoes of different model
                      I hope you can look into my complaint.

                      Samsonite shoes are of worst quality. I am a first time Samsonite shoe user. In just 3 months usage the pasting is coming off.

                      Even I have bought Samsonite shoes from Reliance Footwear, Korum Mall, Thane. The pasting is so bad that it came off after few days o[censored]se. I went back to store and they changes the sole but its again in bad shape after a couple of days use.

                      Really frustrated with these pair of expensive shoes.

                        i bought a laptop bag on 07nov2007. i m an advocate by proffession. i do not use it oftenly, but still the product has not maintained a satisfactory and expected quality. i am not able to find even a company representetive to file my complaint. so i kindly request you to find me a person were i can plead my complaint.

                        I bought a Laptop Bag of Rs 6300/- its being around in eight months before.
                        It's hanging belt huck from leather side has been broken.

                        Samsonite Gurgaon dealer is saying its not a mannufacturing defect (the local small shopkeepers excuse)

                        I know that problem has been created only because o[censored]sing a cheep quality leather. Customer buys Samsonite not only for the brand or status perpose as well as best quality also. at the time of buying dealer says its my responsibility keep your eyes close and take this bag its three year waranty bla bla ...

                        why should customer come to the big bangs, think over it what is the differance between small shopkeeepers and big Multinational brands think about it. It is not a metter of mine or my type of numerious clients its a metter of your Pride your Goodwill and Value.

                        i bought a samsonite laptop bag on april 24, 2010...for Rs 1550 from P.K.TRADERS(dealer), KOLKATA...i was said it is water resistant ...but when i was caught in rain my laptop and my N81 phone was ruined...i rushed to the dealer on the same day.but the dealer was a good guy he really understood my problem.where in he gave me the sales representative number..his name was Partho ...he asked me to give me a call after three days since he will be busy in the last week...i asked for repayment but he said it is nlt possible...he asked me to go for 1750 rs bag and he asked me to pay extra 200 rs ..i accepted to that also..i asked his manger number but he didnt give it, , , his manager was MR Anindo Bhattacharya...i called him on 02/06/10 he said he will be delivering the bag of 1750 to the dealer ...i called him 03/06/10...and i also added that the dealer is not having the 1750 bag..he said he will send it the nexr day...where in i called him 04/03/10...he is giving me the same information like the dealer is not having the 1750 bag .which i said it to him before...today morning i gave him a call...i reminded him to deliver the bag to the dealer..he accepted to it...when i contacted the dealer he informed that he didnt receive it...when i called Partho the sales guy there was no response for 3 hours i was trying his number from my office but no response ..after sometime he switched off his cell phone...when i called from a differnt number .the phone was picked by different person stating there was no person called Partho...he is palying a cheap trick...i didnt expect or even imagine AMERICAN TOURISTER or SAMSONITE to have this sort o[censored]nworthy people...and i have no answer for my N series mobile my laptop which was ruined by this bag...i believed it to be water proof but it let me down...and the customer service they offer also is very very cheap...i got a email address from Partho where in he stated that i can file a compliant...i filed a compliant on 29/05/10...where in i got an automated mail stating that i will be getting a reply within seven days where in i didnt get anything till now...am totally frustrated with you guys...i didnt expect an international concern to behave so cheaply to its customer...my time, my money which i invested in this bag, then my dell laptop and my N series phone put together worth Rs 50, 000(approx) ruined coz of this bag and the treatment i got from your sales representative is really annoying...it unfair and you guys are unfit to say you are a international firm...i will not turn to samsonite and its products in future and will convey the same to my collegues as well...the money i earn i hard earned...i need to toil a lot to make money...i lost my money that is one side and the other side am was bitterly hurt by your customer service ...good bye samsonite.

                          I purchased new Post paid card of AIRCEL ([protected]) from Malad link road showroom on 1st Oct 09 , But after 7 days also still it is not activated , I called customer care no also they are also , unable to help me out , i called so many times to Malad outlet , but still I have not getting proper feedback , this is a very useless service provider,

                          I don't know what to do? , I will cancel this new connection with my 2 old nos ([protected] & [protected])

                          From next time i will not purchase AIRCEL card again

                            Dear Sir,
                            I have purchased one Samsonite Laptop trolly Bag[protected] Leather COLL.II[protected] CM BLACK from S.M.Trading Co, A22 New Market Kolkata 700 087 ph no[protected]/32905867 on 7th JANUARY 2008.I was very satisfied with its performance.
                            Suddenly I found wheels were cracked so I came in touch of one of your dealer & received the mob no of Mr.Barik Service Engineer of samsonite kolkata .With his guidance I had left the same to your Park Street Show Room for five days in june 2009 for the replacement of the wheels.To day is the first day after i got the Bag delivered started using & while going to
                            Guwahati at kolkata airport once again one wheel got detached & left me to a great trouble .I called once again Mr.Barik & taken the Bag to Mr.Binod Technician at Guwahati Samsonite Dealer.To day I received back the same with absoloute disatisfaction.The allignment got out of order with no smoothness at all.At the time of collecting the Bag Mr.Binod had left for Siliguri so I could not met him.He just fitted the wheel & kept ready for me.
                            Before the change of wheels the Bag was well balanced & smooth rolling.I am really astonished to have the after sales Service from the Company like Samsonite.I am really spell bound.
                            So, I request you Please help me to get my Bag as balanced as smooth rolling as it was before wheels replacement from your end.
                            Looking forward for your kind attention & early reply in this regard since I need to travel very frequently.

                              Last year we got a samsonite hard olive colored 28" suitcase. My mother was using it. She made two trips with it and it was damaged.

                              The wheel came off during transit in airport luggage.If you look at the damage, you can clearly see that the wheel has been held by two screws. And both the screws had been broken. It seems that the material used to make the screws were not good. I have not heard of screws breaking.

                              When we went at the company authorized service shop, the person there was unable to accept the fact that the product was faulty. My dad has been using aristrocrat hard suitcase for more than 30 years now and it still has all its parts in tact. The person was telling us that the warranty provided by samsonite only covers the fact that the suitcase does not crack. It seems that samsonite only guarantees its suitcase box and not the wheels and locks.

                              What kind of quality are they providing for a suitcase worth 7, 000 INR is really amazing, when you can break off a wheel within 6 months of purchase...

                              It is better to go for cheap products - at least you know that it will get damaged, instead of getting cheated by purchasing such costly products and then running for fake warranty.

                                I, Naresh Kumar Mohta son of Shri Kishan Lal Mohta, Age 52 years, resident of 05-Chha-01, Jawahar Nagar, Jaipur - 302 004 (Rajasthan) submit as under :--

                                As my daughter’s marriage was fixed to perform on 27th February 2009, hence to perform and celebrate the above marriage function, on 25th February 2009, I with my relatives / friends, had travelled (in a group of 24 people) by train from JAIPUR to NASIK ROAD, Via Agra Cantt. From Jaipur to Agra Cantt. The journey was performed through Agra Gwalior express and than from Agra cantt. To Nasik Road, by Mangle lakshdeep express, Train No. 2618, Coach S-5, Seat no. between from birth no. 17 to 46.

                                At, Agra Cantt. On that date (i.e.[protected].) there was a heavy rush on plate form to catch this train, as there were two to three another group of people to catch the train to travels in the same coach / adjoining of this coach.

                                During this Rush & travel, My suitcase Make Smsonite model 28” hard, Green colour having dark brown cloth as cover, had been misplaced between Agra Cant to Nasik Road while loading at Agra Cantt. or during travelling from Agra Cant to Nasik Road by Mangla Lakshdeep Express, as the above suitcase was seen & checked by us after unloading of the luggage at Agra cantt. plate form from Udaipur Gawalior Express. The above suitcase consist of me & my wife majority of brand new cloths estimating app. Rs. 46, 000/- (Rs. 22, 000/- of mine and Rs. 24, 000/- of my wife respectively).

                                I had noticed the above loss after reaching at Nasik, and could not lodge the complaint immediately as was busy in marriage function. On returning to home at Jaipur on[protected]; after performing the marriage function, I tried my level best to locate the above suitcase but failed, hence I am lodging this complaint though this letter to your good self for necessary action in the matter please. For your kind reference & record I am enclosing herewith the photocopies of my travelling tickets of Railway for the above journey.

                                  My baggage was lost in the flight in which I travelled from Dubai to Chennai which was going to bangkok from chennai. The flight name was TG522 and the date of travel was 19th dec from Dubai to chennai.I had some important documents of interview and my interview was affecte4d by this.And I have not received any calls from them till now and the number which they gave is nevr being answered by any one. You dont have to beleive me you can see it for yourself by dialing [protected].
                                  Please, take some action atleast against these airlines, Indian citizens know that government cannot take action against criminals as they cannot be identified, but here I have given maximum details and ready to give more details if contacted.

                                  Samsonite — breaking of lock of baggage

                                  The lock of my baggage was broken and the baggage has itself been damaged to an unrepairable extent. The materials within have also been damaged. I would request kingfisher airlines authority to kindly refund the damage.
                                  I have purchased Laptop Bag from Vishal Mart, Dahisar (E) a year back. At the time of purchase your sales executive has informed me about 3 years warrenty against the Laptop Bag which cost me Rs. 2170.03. In Feb 2009 my bag was teared and i visited Vishal Mart for replacement of the Bag. Your executive has taken the Bag and he promised me for replacement. I have visited three to four times to Vishal Mart for the replacement, they have told me that the bag will be replaced by the Company and not by Vishal Mart. They have called your sales executive. After continous followup, your sales executive has informed me over telephone that your bag has been replaced and you have been issued credit note. He has faxed me the credit notedtd. 23.02.2009 and he has written on the credit note that i have to visit to your outlet M/s. V. J. Enterpriss Borivali (W) and i have to sellect a bag. When i have visited your outlet at M/s. V. J. Enterprises, the owner has told me that he cannot replace the bag/can give me a bag. I have shown him the credit note but he is not good to talk to me also. After a hot discussion with him, he has called your office and asked about the credit note. Your person was not ready to talk to me and refused to replace the same. When u have issued a Credit note it is your duty to replace the same. He has asked me to visit Vishal Mega Mart at Dahisar and when i visited the shop it was closed. Kindly look in to the matter and please replace the bag.

                                  I face same Problem with Samsonite Dealer in Noida (UP) India, purchase an Office Case Bag from Noida based Dealer in Centre Stage Mall, and when i go there for replacement, they never give me new bag but the shop boy come with a plier and press the Zips on Bag and told me that these are minor problems as they dont cover under guarantee and he then press all the ZIPS on bag by nose plier !!!,

                                  Now what could someone do ? even these reputed companies - are not able to control their dealers/ retailers ?, The bag cost me arround Rupees 3600/[protected] SO IT IS BETTER TO PURCHASE A LOCAL BAG ????

                                  i bought one bag in hyderabad from AOC center and within one week its stitches came out. My another local bag is better than that of this, which has been used from 2 years and no problem with that. this is too much.
                                  I had purchased an American Tourister from Stat Bazar at Pune on 29.10.10. Stiches of this bag near handle gave away in its first use and the same was taken to Star Bazar for inspection under warranty. This was repaired and given to me . Repair is done in such a shabby manner that it looks like repair is done locally. Hence request you to provide customer care number of Samsonite for taking up this issue.

                                    I have a connection with CRN NO:[protected], vide K No: 2540 0B60 0010, in which I put a Cheque No 837204, dated 17/5/2008, Amounting Rs 8120/-, for the past month Bill. But I was astonished the same has been returned by courier, as dishonoured. How can a cheque be dishonoured, without the cheque been presented to my bankers. Now I want an explanation from your office to this regard. I have been using your services without ever defaulting. Secondly I want no charges be put on me, as I wanted to pay in time. Please look in to the matter and please reply.

                                      I purchased a full prices Samsonite bag and its handle gave away in the first few days of hte usage in New York. Samsonite caims their products are tested and are of best quality. But if why they cannot take responsiblity when it is defective for the damages as well repay for hte bag due to the defective products? The details are as follows:
                                      I purchased my first Samsonite back quite some time back and than had good experience, wanting to repeat the same I did buy a new one for my US trip, but well never knew that some day I would be writing this.

                                      SAMSONITE HAS AGREED TO JUST ACT ON THE WARRANTY AND NOT ACCEPTED THEIR PRODUCT IS DEFECTIVE AND HAS NOT ACCEPTED TO TAKE UP ANY CLAIMS DUE TO DAMAGES. THIS IS UNFAIR AS THEY SELL A DEFECTIVE PRODUCT AND THAN DO NOT ACT RESPONSBILE.

                                      Purchased: 07thJan 2008.
                                      Experience:

                                      I started my USA trip on the 23rd Jan 08 and came back today. Just the third day of working in USA and your bag handle on the top side came off. I am a fashion company and we take these bag as when in NYC we need good bag to roll and run between taxis and appointments. But SAMSONITE really failed in basic parameters of the bag and surprised me by performing that the bag handle can go off. A total Shock and left with me with a lot of harassment to me during my entire trip. I had to carry the bag to all the appointment without handle and struggling in front of my customers like a fool. I have been harassed and tortured due to SAMSONITE. I know you will sweetly tell me that we will repair the same for us or replace us. But we do not buy the bags to face such torture.

                                      The bag was filled up as per the US regulations of 50 Lbs or less. The tickets of my travel and the bag all is available with the purchase invoice at my residence. We are herebay raising the following claims on SAMSONITE for the failure to perform.

                                      Rs. 75, 000 for the harassment and the torture faced.
                                      Full refund of the enclosed payment done for the faulty product you have supplied to us.

                                      We will return the bag to you representative who will be coming along with the above payments. If we do not hear from you on the settlement I will be moving the issue to the press and than later take a legal route.

                                      Let me add, I am X Hong Kong resident, Member of American Chambers of Commerce and also running my own business with exports to more than 10 countries. We know what we are writing and what we have suffered through during my trip. Additional any further legal expenses will also be to the account of Samsonite.

                                      Further we will no way be returning this bag to you or allowing it for repair unless the full claims are settled.

                                      This is to inform you that I Praveen Banswal purchased Two Nos. of Santiago V bags from Samsonite Factory outlet, (O-5-A Lajpat Nagar –II New Delhi-110024) on 25th May’10.

                                      One of the bag found defective on 13th Jun’10, I brought that bag to the shop from where I purchased that bag they submitted the bag for repair, but I don’t need the repaired bag as the bag is still under warranty I need the Replacement of the same . If I want the repaired bag then I would go for the Local one, as in this much short period time of purchase they also replace the bag and so can u also as you are a branded name with you.
                                      THE SOMSONITE IS FULLY RESPONICIBLE FOR DEFECTIVE BAG SUPPLY
                                      THEY SHOULD REPLACE IMMED. J BHANDARY. INDIA
