Address: Salem, Tamil Nadu

My father (Sankaran) aged 60 was admitted to saravana hospital in salem (Ponnamapet) for high fever and later doctor advised to under go surgery in right kidney to remove infected skin (Dj stunt) operation on 21st april which was informed as minor surgery. But after that he was admitted to icu and later died on 23rd april evening. We suspect that doctors has made error during operation inspite of his fever and not in good position. Futher they informed that sugar and bp level is improving after operation but sudden death makes many question. Kindly take necessary action on this hospital as i see they are admitting patient to icu without proper screening which makes mental illness on both patient and thier relatives. More over all are visiting foctors so they dont care and do checks only one day at their lesiure time.

There is real need of hospital scurtiny is no proper doctors who care people life and take money from all people in means for unneccesary scan, lab and other charges. To take body of my father to my home of 40km i paid 4000 apart from all bill of 1.26lakhs amt

Dr C Murugesan — Fraudulant treatment

Above is the address of this fraud doctor's fraudulant hospital

This dr Murugesan is an absolute fraud.Hetreated my mother in law wrongly on his wrong diagnosis that she had 3 blocks on the basis of her ECG report. Now since 3 and a half years she is suffering from an irrecoverable stroke, a right side paralysis and loss of senses. The hospital is tottaly unhygeinic and cats run around there..cheating poor families I have authentic discharge summary reports signed by this doctor to prove myh point. We have spent all our money to save my MIL,but all that we could do is just save her life, she is almost vegetable . posting this msg only so that poor pple do not go and get treated from this fraud.
My Mil is no more now after 4 and a half years of pain, agony and suffering
n 17th of this month, I took my son to this hospital as he was running temperature and needed medication. Even a lay man like me could know that it was only a viral fever-from the symptoms viz occasional mild shivvering and uneasiness. The Doctor Mr Murugesan first strapped my son's hand for BP checking. He pumped the machine and later realised that he had not worn the stethescope. He wore the stethescope and by that time the risen mercury had dropped down and the Doctor did not even look at the machine. He immediately said that my son had low BP and needed drips. He said we could leave in just -3- hours time. He did not talk a word of the expensed that would involve. The Nurse immediately injected my son and connected it to drips and went on injection spree ie. with antibiotics, this and that what God only knows. He immediately vomited because of the pressure of medicine and the antibiotics were discontinued. The Doctor advised blood test for malaria, typhoid etc. But the result was for typhoid and para typhoid only which were negative. No result came for malaria or that etc..After about 3 to 4 hours, he was discharged with a list of medicine prescribed that included chloroquil too though the prescription said viral fever only.To our shock, the bill came to Rs. 2300 + Rs. 850 for medicines. The Saravana Pharmacy adjacent the hospital appears to be hand in glove with the hospital. They hand write the bill with illegible handwriting and show double the actual supply of medicine ie. 2 nos when only 1 no. is supplied. The Doctor unnecessarily took blood test for checking typhoed on the first day itself. What could have been over within say Rs. 250 to 300 cost me Rs. 3650 +. ie. subsequent medicine included. My son was still not alright. I had to take him to another Doctor who treated him properly and he is now alright. In our country, when somebody is helpless, he is looted. It is unfortunate that though we know that we are exploited, we are pushed to a situation where we cannot open our mouth.
I would like to inform you all that I am totally new to this hospital as well as to the Doctor. I enquired and learnt later on ( after admitting my wife) that Dr. C. Murugesan was an HOD of Cardiology department in a Medical college and a panel doctor for Reputed Institutions. He is very simple, down to earth and easily accessible empathetic Doctor of a Rare breed. We can never ever come across in this era of Corporate Hospital culture, where we need to wait for several hours to even MEET a specialist of this background.
Patient and their relatives are kept informed with Transparency about the ailment suffered without keeping the entire family to bite their nails in anxiety.
Unnecessary fleecing, unwanted Tests and retaining the patients for weeks together as inpatients is not in the DNA of Dr. C. Murugesan’s Saravana Hospitals!
The confidence in boosting the patient’s morale and trust is incomparable based on the simple and required line of treatment alone.
Further this hospital is not unhygienic at all just because it lacks the pomp and show of 'mini pseudo corporate ' hospitals! Hospital staff are also friendly and compassionate! They listen to our grievances well, just as their Boss Dr. C. Murugesan. Same is the case with the Pharmacy which is managed well and deals with patients in a trustworthy manner. Please remove such negative feedback which may mislead other poor patients.
Thanks a lot Dr. Murugesan Sir and the staff members!

Who can return the loss of my mil..the great Mr murugesan?! the most unhygienic and dirtiest hospital.. Cats run about with most indisciplined nurses..fraudulent pharmacy and a discharge summary with all grammatical mistakes. The doctor has no subject knowledge whatsoever.. Pl risk your life if you want to visit this hospital
I think Mr venkateswarans is Mr murugesans spokesman.. Hence the loyalty.. Any man who walks into the hospital will know the truth
