Furniture not dispatched

Hi I am Vijay form chennai.I have purchased furniture and kitchen utensils for around Rs.1,25,000 in saranava stores furniture branch located at madley road, T Nagar, Chennai. All the goods have dispatched within 3 days except a sofa set. They have asked me a week time to dispatch the sofa as it is a foreign made. I handed over the responsibility to my house owner and wend for my vacation. The sofa was not delivered even after one month....

I have purchased saree from saravana store for Rs.952 on my debit card[protected],They Wrongly swipe & debited the cash 2 times from my account' TID No:44028361. invoice no.004620 on 30.1.2013 at19:30:58 hours. please get back the amount Rs. 952 to my account. Hope the network problem occur for this issue

    My first advice to all people who is going to buy some furtuniture is "Please dont go to Saravan Stores". I baught one sofa setty and and dining table one month back... I haven't get it delivered yet.. i am calling many people to get it deliver.. But no one is responding... i fed with with this. I never see such an irresponsible staff in any other shops. they dont even respond/attend call properly after the purchase.. so please dont go there..

      Dear all,
      I am Pradipta Kumar Nayak working for AdityaBIrla Money , Chennai , recently on date 29/09/2012 visited to New Saravana stores (129 , Usman road , T.nagar , chennai-17) to purchase a wireless bluetooth headset and asked the sales person to show different bluetooth models wherein I can receive calls and also access music , however the sales guy sold the bluetooth stating that I can access all my requirements , even given a commitment of 1yr of waraanty on this. When I opened the box for test purpose after paying the full amount of Rs 742.00 at that particular counter I found it as wrong , because music option is not available to that device. I asked the same again to the sales person , but he directly refused to change the device and behaved rudely . Even I requestd him to exchange the device and was ready to pay the extra amount for my required one , but he didn't listen me at all . I would like to mention one thing that , when I asked the sales person to provide the mail-id of their manager , one of the guy told me its www.microsoft.com and even they were not ready to provide any information about their manager . I had never seen such a bad and poor service
      ever before . For details I am attached the billing details , kindly find the same do the needful asap.

        i have bought a set of studying table and furniture at saravana stores furniture, ranganathen street, t.nagar chennai... on 5th september 2012..for door delivery i pay extra 180 rupees..they said the product should be delivered on 6 the september...but till now 8th september, i do not get the product..i phoned to them, they don not responed me properly...

          I purchase 1 Double Cot from SARAVANA STORE on 1 July 2012 , at the time of purchase the sales manager informed that they will deliver on Tuesday or Wednesday according to my convenient time.But the very next day the sale manager told that he did not tell any thing like that,delivery will be in the afternoon time only..It is very problematic for me as i m not available at morning time in my home.Than one of his Manager Name(Annamalai) told that on Saturday that is 6 july they surely going to deliver.Than i agreed that for the delivery on Saturday on 6 July 2012 as i m available on that day.Now a give a call to SARAVANA STORE person regarding the delivery confirmation but now they giving another more date that is Monday on 9 July 2012..Now i don't have faith on this company nor with the sales person.

            I am Jiyaji from cuddalore district. I had mobile recharge shop in the name of RKJ communication in cuddalore. I had a dealership with Saravana Stores Foods Pvt Ltd as Jamaaai Ice Cream. For that dealership, i paid Rs.15,000/- as deposit amount (Refundable Deposit - Non interest) to Name of Saravana Stores Foods Pvt Ltd, Chennai-17 on 17-Mar-2011 (DD No- 395403; Name of the Bank- Indian Bank; DD Dated- 12/03/2011; Amount-Rs.15,000/-). Due to some issue i had return freezer (300 Ltrs), which is given by the company (based on deposit amount) on 27/07/2011. From the date dealership canceling, i request for my deposit amount refund through call and direct to Mr.J.Santhosh (ASM) cuddalore. He didn't given proper response to me. And also the amount is till now not refund to me. For that amount i pay interest to my financier, who help to this project for my investment. But that company doesn't think about my money refund process in past one year. Due to this issue i had lot of Finance pressure and mental pressure. And also i loss my respect in my home due to this money. If i make call with Chennai number[protected] for Hema), they didn't attend the call and not give proper response. Please try get some action to be refund my amount Rs.15,000/- to me.

              I purchased a dining table set from Saravana Stores, Madly Road branch, Chennai. It costed me somewhere around Rs. 12,000/-. At the time of purchase they promised me that it is a good quality product and they also offer life time warranty. Hence I purchased it. Within 2 months of purchase I found that the chairs started to break. A person can just sit and get up without any shake. Recently one of the leg broke. I called their service center and a service person came to service it....and claimed money for each service. This is not fair I want to replace the product. I have all the original bills

                I bought the furniture for my House. We ordered and came and the next the goods are delivered. We called but there is no proper response. We went and complaint to the manager. Bur he told his inability.

                For fitting also they were not responding properly. Still I am waiting for my office table to be fitted. so friends kindly dont buy any of the such items in saravana stores - Madley road t.nagar branch
                1, I BOUGHT SOFA SET IN SARAVANA STORES FURNITURE IN MADLEY RODE CHENNAI ON SUNDAY (06.05.12), AS YOUR COMPANY SALES PERSON SAID DELIVERY WILL BE TODAY EVENING AND FOR FITTING PERSON WILL COME ON TUESDAY . TO DELIVERY YOUR DELIVERY PERSON CALLED ME ON SAME DAY AT 10 PM THEN SAID WILL BE THERE IN 20 MINUTES, BUT I CALLED THEM AT 11.10 PM AGAIN THEY SAID WILL BE THERE IN ANOTHER 10 MINUTES. BUT THEY CALLED AT 00.05 AM (MONDAY)AND THEY SAID WILL BE DELIVERED AFTER 1 HOUR LATER SO I TOLLED THEM TO DELIVER BY MORNING (MONDAY) BECAUSE AGED PARENTS AND KIDS ARE SLEEPING AT THAT TIME AND NEIGHBOR ALSO WILL ABJECT. BUT THEY CALLED AT 00.56 (MONDAY) BUT I SLEPT AS I KEPT MY MOBILE NEAR MY HEAD PILLOW AND MOBILE GOT OFF AS NO BATTERY CHARGE I SAW THE MASSAGE WITCH IS FROM MISSED CALL ALERT AFTER RECHARGE THE BATTERY.MY QUESTION IS WILL YOU GIVE DELIVERY “LATE NIIGHT” AT 1 “O” CLOCK NIGHT OR WHAT?
                2, MONDAY GOT DELIVERY BUT THEY DEMAND FOR RS.100 TO LIFT TO THE FLOOR BUT I ALREADY PAID FOR THAT ( HOUSE IS IN 2ND FLOOR SO I PAID RS.140 AND TRANSPORTATION AMOUNT RS.390)I GAVE RS 50 EXTRA STILL THEY NOT HAPPY.                 Worst Quality...

                We bought 3 DOOR WAR from Saravana stores, Madly road on September, 2011. The items were delivered after 4 days from the date of purchasing. And we called the store multiple times to assemble the furniture, and finally a service man came and fitted the Wardobe.

                But within a month we felt lot of issues with the product, they were not done the fitting properly and fungus were formed inside it. And the drawer is not functioning properly. The wood on the racks are very very thin and getting narrowed automatically.

                We called many times for their service, they told that we need to pay Rs.250 for the service man to come. And we have to pay the additional cost to fix the issues. We said okay for that, even though still there is no person ready for the service and no proper response when we calling them. We are very frustrated a lot and finally posting this..

                So people, please be alert before buying anything from this store.

                  Poor quality from Saravana stores

                  We bought a iron bed from Saravana stores furniture in Saravana Furniture - Shop No. 3, Abdul Razzak Street, Tambaram West, Chennai[protected]. And told that 6 month warranty is there .Saravana stores had delivered iron bed on next day . After two day that bed is damaged.i took the bed and reached to the stores , no response and still it is not repaired. Please dont buy items at cheaper rates from shops like this, service will be extremely poor. This is my own experience. Out of anger n frustation posting this. Not sure when they will come to assemble.

                  I strongly agree with the above complaint... I bought a battery car worth Rs.3000/- in Shop No. 3, Abdul Razzak Street, Tambaram west Chennai[protected] for my sister's son. when i took home i realised that its a damaged one. with in 12 hours of time I went with the bill proof and asked for a replacement they denied for that. This is also not a big problem, but the way they behaved is pathetic .the owner of the shop used some horrible words for denying the replacement. They just took my battery car and kept out of the shop and forced me to get out. (PREVIOUSLY WE BOUGHT 5 LAKHS WORTH PRODUCTS FOR MY SISTER'S MARRIAGE IN THAT TOO MANY DAMAGED PRODUCTS THEY GAVE) Not only this but also i have a very bad experiance with saravana stores WEST TAMBARAM. Even my neighbour hoods faced similar problem in the same shop. So in my locality many o[censored]s decided not to purchase any of the products in that shop. So please dont go for buying any of the product in saravana stores. worthless products are dumped their with very bad mind sets. people facing the same problem even with the branded products in that particular shop. I dont know how to launch a complaint in consumer court against that shop ortherwise i might have done that.

                      I have punched one sofa set Rs. 14760 Bill No:1390 from M/s Saravana stores furniture shop at T. Nagar Chennai on 26.01.2011 he agree to deliver to my native place Tiruvallur on payment of Rs.750 on 06.02.2011. But not delivered on that committed dated he delivered on 07.02.2011at night 2.00am. All are damaged conditions at the time driver was confirmed tomorrow i will inform for rework. on next day 08.02.11 I have complained to mr. Ramanathan (service manager) he confirmed with in one week ratified the problem but till now many phone calls to that persons and other staffs also.

                      Iam suffered M/s Saravana stores furniture I request to all don't purchase .

                        I bought a Mechanix 5 Toy from Saravana Stores and found some parts to be rusted. I went to the shop and spoke to somebody by name Mathi or Bala not sure. His phone number is [protected]. He was very rude and said he cannot do anything and asked me to apply coconut oil and clean it. I said I will complain to a manager and his reply was 'Go see whoever you want and finally you have to come to me only'. This is not good for a good retail company to talk in this tone to a customer. My advice for people would be to avoid such shops.

                          On 20.02.2011 I went to Saravana Stores at T Nagar, Chennai. Was trying to locate a travel bag ideal for me from the 7th floor. I saw some new bags (which was not in display anywhere in the floor) which was stored under the display racks. I was trying to see if any one was matching to me. Suddenly a lady rushed to me and commanded me not to touch it. I got really stuck and I tried to tell her that the item which I was holding was not in display hence I wanted to see it. But she was not ready to hear me. Actually she is a person who is supposed to help me in selecting an appropriate item for me.

                          You may shop any where as you like. But beware of such unforeseen intimidation at Saravana Stores, T Nagar on 7th floor.

                            Very worst services. I won’t go and purchase any items in this store in my life. I have bought System Table and they deliver the table at mid night 1:30 PM, we did not regognise the table delivered with damage(Two wheels are damaged and it is broken one side of the table, after 5 min we got to know). Immidiately we called delivery man, he told that will be replaced with new table tomorrow. After a day we keep on dialing the store & spoke to all the guys who ever take the phone(All the guys replied you case has been registered will replace with in day). We are still speak to them and finally they are asked us to return the damaged table and take new one(This service we need to do). I am from velacherry , if i take this item in our place i won’t be face this kind of problem. I never choose saravana store or saravana selvarethinam in my life to purchase any item.

                              i bought a sofa set in saravana stores furniture division 3 months back.but within a week of purchasing,my sofa started giving trouble.sofa started giving in.when i contacted saravana stores,they gave another person's no.(another thing is that saravana stores is not selling furniture directly.some other companies are selling their products under saravana's roof.so i[censored] have problem with the products,u have to call the unknown manufacturer)i...

                              I purchased a Marble top 4 seater dining table for Rs 7K. They said it was imported make and delivered it directly to my home. It's been almost 5 months now and slowly each chair is showing it's real strength. Even the table it looks like is not of even a moderate quality. The legs seems to have come off due to the weight of the Granite. I checked with a local carpenter here and he says the wood cannot even be used for burning purposes. It's supposed to be of the worst quality. Now he is asking me to change the 4 legs and quoting 6K. For 13K (7K + 6K) I would have got a descent dining table in a good furniture shop. So please avoid SARAVANA STORES (The furniture shop near Ranganathan Subway) and go for better shops. I also wasted another 9K by purchasing their sofa set which was looking good and now starting to show it's colours off.

                                myself and friend went to saravan stores and accidentally bought a couple of power sandals from BATA which we thought were good looking for an affordable price of 600Rs each. When we came home found that one of them had a manufacturing defect and went to replace the same. (The old sandals were returned and they gave a return receipt for the same to get a new one) But surprisingly the size 10 were all sold out. SO we had a chat with the representative for chappals section he told you can come and collect in two or three days and i will give you a call when the stock arrives.

                                I received no call till next sunday. Called the representative on his number on the same day he said you can come and collect it has arrived now. Since it was raining heavily i could not go out for two three days. And only the next sunday i was able to go to their store again. The rep. told that the stock has sold out again Its been fifteen days since you came to get a new one( Claiming mistakes on my part for not going there for fifteen days - but we have already paid for the sandals but they could not keep one for me when the new stock arrived and they sold it out as i have already paid them for the same). The rep. asked me to come again on next sunday and he assured no need to call him and come directly and collect it again as he will take care to bring a new pair of sandals and keep it for me alone. When i reached there next sunday he tells the stock has not arrived and calls the dealer in front of me and asks when the stocks will arrive. and asks me again to come tomorrow evening and collect them.

                                I am still waiting to go and collect these sandals ... will go tomorrow to check again .........

                                Conclusion: this will be my last visit to saravana stores(unless i dont get my sandals :-) ) as i have already visited the store thrice just for a pair of sandals and they dont know what customer service is leave alone the quality of their products.

                                Recommendations: Please never go to saravana stores even if you find it a little cheaper than other outlets because it will take a huge effort from you get through the crowd and buy things only to find out that the quality sucks.

                                  I have bought an multi point spike at Saravana Stores before two weeks. It was not expensive, my concern with the product is that it is not upto the quality. In two weeks the product is not working any more. Some thing internally does not work. I went back to the Saravana Stores back and tried to exchange it for a new piece, but in turn the shop keepers say that the product will not be taken, no statement was mentioned in the bill either and make a note they have an exchange counter, i don't know for what. They say that if the product does not work the very next day, they won't care nor do they have any exchange on the product. I bought a small extension box in a shop near to my house and when it did not work, the shop keeper exchanged it for a new piece. But a big shop like Saravana Stores does not take back the damaged pieces. I wonder they are cheating people by selling non functional products at a low cost.

                                  Now this also shows how low quality standard they have. They are running business by cheating so may middle class people like me and also other low class community. This is absolutely ridiculous. From now on i am not gonna purchase any products from that stupid shop. I recommend others as well not to purchase products from Saravana Stores if you are looking for long lasting products. They are number 1 cheaters selling rotten eggs (damaged products) under a big roof. I lost just around 200 rupees, i wonder how many people must have bought electrical stuffs from them and have got cheated for not getting repaid or exchanged.

                                  Saravana Stores, Chennai — No legal billing

                                  THEY DO NOT PROVIDE A VALID TAX DETUCTED PROPER BILLING WHICH ACCOUNTANTANTS NOT ACCEPTING, WHEN ASKED NO PROPER RESPONSE. TAKE ACTION!
                                  on 01.04.09 i bought some textile from SARVANA STORE OPP PANAGAL PARK CHENNAI, i given my credit card they said the card is declined and they asked me to give other card then i did the same, once i back home and checked the statement online they debited from both of my card,
                                  they cheated me, like this how many people got suffer, did the govt take any proper action.
                                  Govt wont take any action, we want to take action, since we are the Government.
                                  i have purchased samsung c3053 model in last month august 9- now hang the device i feel very said.. i am long time customer in saravana store. i have change my handset.
                                  i also purchased memory card reader in saravana stores but they didn't give any guarantee or tested. but after going to room when i connected to desktop i shocked its not working.

                                  saravana stores people are really cheating people by selling non-functional goods.
                                  Is it possible to exchange ceiling fan bought 3 days back

                                    Worst Customer Service

                                    I bought a Dining table from Saravana Stores in Chennai. The table being a foreign made, the shops representatives were supposed to come to my house to set it. They delivered it the next day itself. Instead of 4 packages, 3 packages were delivered. It has been 2 weeks now and no one turned up with the 4th piece.
