Sub : Complaint regarding poor performance of the A/c Unit _ OG AC 1.5TON ASGG18CGTA

Dear Sir,

I bring to your kind notice that I have purchased an Air Conditioner (Model: OG AC 1.5TON ASGG18CGTA – B INVERTER 5 STAR) from SATHYA AGENCIES, MANNARGUDI on 16/03/2020.

I chose to buy this product on account of the reputation the Brand carries in the Market.

But to my surprise and utter disappointment, I found leakage of water in the indoor unit on the very next day itself soon it was installed.

I called the service center and they came and fixed the problem. But after two weeks, I faced another problem in the Unit, I called service center again for fixing the issue.

The service people came and after checking informed me that there was an issue in the board and it needs to be replaced. They have booked an order for replacement of the board.

By that time since the lockdown was announced by that time due to COVID 19 spread and it obviously took a long time for the replacement of the board. I would like to inform here that till the time for almost 3 months, I suffered a lot without A/C support.

My sufferings from your A/C didn’t end here. After a few months itself, I once faced the same problem. Initially after checking y, they told that there is problem in Board once again and they arranged to change the Board. But still the issue wasn’t solved.

To my utter disappointment, I found them telling that Compressor needs to be replaced. At this time I left with no other option but to ask why this many problem comes from this unit ans why the unit itself cannot be replaced.

Now they promised that there won’t be any issues after this compressor is replaced. But before replacing the compressor once again, the lockdown was imposed and my suffering without the A/c support still continued.

After quite long days, they arranged to change the compressor. Now the problem wasn’t still fixed. So they checked the board once again, and still ended in failure. Then they have arranged to take the AC unit to their service place last week.

Now they are telling that they will somehow fix the issue and there may not be any need for replacement.

But now Iam totally dejected and disappointed over your product since I faced lot of difficulties with this product and deeply disappointed with your service and response.

I wish to tell that this is my last complaint regarding this issue and to give you a warning that take this AC unit back and give me a full compensation. The second option is that take your AC unit back and give me replacement with a brand new Unit. This is one last chance, Iam giving you.

If not my demand is not met within next week, I will be subjected to take this issue to a proper Legal Consumer Forum for filing a suit against you. I will be left with no other option but to publish the issue in social media to make the entire people community to become aware of your notorious malfunction of your Brand.
