1. I was taken a policy through SBI life insurance agent Farooq and HR Thakur, personnel Banking manager of SBI Main branch Betul (MP). I was submitted the application for cancellation of said policy due to wrong or miss guided by above mentioned agent but they are delay for process and again try for miss guiding to me.

2. Copy of the application and complaint letter are also attached for your further action please.

3. I am very stressed and want take action against the defaulters at the earliest. My contact No is [protected].

      I have been victim of a fraud made by an insurance agent of the SBI Life Insurance Co. Ltd. The chain of the incidents are as below:

      Sir, I got a call from a telemarketing person saying there is a scheme, in SBI Life Ins. which takes Rs. 50,000/- p.a. for 3 consequent years making a sum of Rs. 1,50,000/- of investment and returns you Rs. 2,10,000/- on the 4th year which is its maturity period.

      Now we can not close before 15 Years.

      Please let me know how can close this policy with minimum lose.

      I request everyone to never purchase SBI policy. These are fraud. There is no clear detail mention in broucher for Policy closure.....

              I am writing to make a complaint against SBI and their agents Anjali (mobile no.
              [protected]) and Sandeep
              (mobile no. [protected]) because they misled me in taking a SBI policy
              called Shubh Nivesh by giving me false information and showing false
              documents.

              I have already made a complaint in SBI by writing to SBI's grievance cell officer but
              they are telling me that they can not do anything in this matter.

              I was approched by Ms Anjali to sell the Shubh Nivesh policy when she
              called me and asked me if i was interested in buying this policy.
              She told me that she is an Executive calling from Daryaganj branch
              office of SBI.

              She explained me that this is a 5 year policy, where i have to pay Rs
              30,000 annually for 5 years and i will get Rs 2,19,018 (fixed) + bonus
              at the rate of 4% (variable depending upon SBI performance).
              She also told me that as per the policy, i will get 10% cashback on
              every annual premium that i will pay.
              i will get the cashback after 45 days of premium payment.

              I found the policy profitable so i told them that i would buy the
              policy but i asked for documents stating these features that Anjali
              had explained to me. So she told me that she will send agent Sandeep
              to my house with the policy documents.

              Agent Sandeep came to my home with a file in his hand. He also told me
              that he is an executive from SBI's Daryagnaj branch. He showed me the
              benefit illustration where all the details were mentioned that how much maturity
              amount is offered against how much premium for the term of 5 years.

              I took some photos of that benefit illustration as well and i am attaching them with
              this as a proof. Now, SBI is saying that this benefit illustration is not provided by them.

              i was satisfied with the documents i saw so i told him that i would
              buy the policy.
              He asked me to give some documents (like my id proof, photographs etc)
              and a cheque of Rs 30,000, which i gave him right away. He also gave
              me a form and asked me to sign it, he told me that he will fill up the
              rest of the form by himself as there are details needed to be filled
              by SBI officials.
              So i signed the form and handed it to him.

              So when i bought this policy i thought i am buying a policy which has
              a time period of 5 years, maturity amount of Rs 2,19,018 and premium
              of Rs 30,000.

              After some days, When i reveived my policy documents i read that my
              policy term is 15 years and maturity amount is only Rs 3,76,000.
              When i asked the agent about this he told me that the policy term is
              15 years in case i want to continue
              the policy and Rs 3,76,000 is the sum assured that i will get in case
              i die, and not the maturity amount.

              He aslo assured me that i can discontinue the policy after 5 years and
              i will get Rs 2,19,018 + bonus as promised.

              Now, i payed my premium on 31st Dec 2012 and i have not yet received
              my cashback.

              i have confirmed it from SBI that my policy term is 15 years, Sum assured is
              Rs 3,76,000 and maturity amount is Rs 3,76,000 + bonus.

              Now, i checked the form that i filled while buying the policy and is
              attached with my policy documents that i received. It has a section
              where the policy's term, premium amount and sum assured is
              filled and there i found that agent has filled my policy term as 15
              years instead of 5 years, my premium as Rs 30,000 and Sum assured as
              3,76,000 instead of Rs 2,19,018.

              Now, i have been cheated and this is not the policy that i wanted. I
              want to get out of this policy and want my Rs 30,000 back.
              Please help me. Please let me know if something is required from my side.

                        On approach of your esteemed delegates I opted for the SBI Life Insurance worth Rs 50000/- p.a. on 26.12.12 and accordingly based on my cheque and Dr.Voucher,the identical amount has already been deucted from my a/c on 27.12.12.But to my surprise,till date I have not received any Acknoledgement or,Policy papers .

                        It seems I have gone for a wrong Investment thr'your concern. Service is really Very POOR which is beyond my expectation.I am unable to submit any documentary evidence to my authority for Tax planning.Today is the cut off date for me.

                        Pl suggest what to do???

But received include envelope only 3 papers(i.e.1th , 3th, 5th,)But not enclose 2th and 4th policy bond paper not enclose. Please rest of those policy bond sent my bank address.

                                  Sir,with the above said policy details i was entered in to swadhan group insurance scheme and from the commencement the bank automatically deducting the premium of Rs.1351.00 from my account from 2006 to 2011. But in the year 2008 it was not deducted. why it was not deducted by the bank even after having balance in my account i don't know. i am a salaried person and i receive salary every month from this Account only since 18 years. Recently when i saw my account, this fact is came before me.
                                  Now i am in worry whether my policy is in continuation or not and should i have to pay the next premium due in this month(Nov.2012) or not. whether the Bank deduct my premium automatically or not . what i have to do? Am i eligible to receive assured sum on the date of maturity? In this regard i approached to the branch manager Sbh Jainoor and he said that he don't know about this type of policies.
                                  So Please kindly help me in this regard and regularize my policy ,Please kindly make a reply through Mail or letter .

                                    This is to bring to your notice theat my policy number [protected]- have requested for cancellation of my policy on 22nd August 2012.
                                    grounds for cancellation- 1) different terms and conditions. 2) term period should be 5 years but its is 10 years. 3) Signature Fraud - Signature on the policy is not mine as i was not available at home when thee policy was purchased. thee broker told my mother that he will come to our house for completion of thee policy documents, but he never did.
                                    we were not at home when thee policy documents came to our house.
                                    The letter for cancellation has been submitted to thee Mehrauli Branch on thee same date. There I had a meeting withe Mr. Atul to whom thee letter was submitted. Later on after 27 days i.e. 18 Sept 2012 i received a Specimen Signature Form- Annexure A for verification of my signatures by a Gazetted officer. The same was submitted to Mr. Atul on 24th Sept 2012. Then he assured me that he will forward thee request for cancellation and will get back to me within 15 days. Its been more than a month and he hasn't given a call back regarding thee case. I have been trying to call him but he is not answering. Then when i called up customer care on 7th November 2012 and had had a word withe a senior executive he told me that nothing regarding my policy has been updated.

                                    please help me how to go about this. and whether i should take some legal action against them.

According to the statement of agent policy’s conditions were that on the occasion of Deepawli If we purchase the policy for five years on Premium of Rs 30,000 per annum, we will get guaranteed sum assured of Rs.2,40,000 + 5000 mobile phone + family 1 year medical insurance & Rs,2,00,000 of Death insurance & accidental insurance Rs.4,00,000 up to 100 years. When I received my policy I asked about the policy features as they were not the same as I was told by the agent, then I Appealed for the cancellation of the policy, then he told me that I will get as soon as possible granted gift and he sure that policy condition is only 5 years and you get that all benefit . but I didn’t get it. Yet after 11 months I didn’t get mobile phone and medical policy. I am totally misguided and I want to cancel my policy. I am totally fed-up and mentally harassed. Vighnaharta played a vital role in this fraud. I request to help in getting my refund otherwise i will step towards IRDA.& complaint to police station & will step to consumer court.

                                        Hi,

                                        In the month of September 2011, I received some frequent calls from a company called 'NETAMBIT INSURANCE BROKING IN' to invest in a insurance policy of 'SBI LIFE’, after lots of conversation I agreed to take a policy called "SBI Life- Shubh Nivesh". They said about the "Endowment Maturity Date" But the booked my Policy for "Endowment Assurance with Whole life maturity Date"

                                        Actually the premium payment term of this policy is 5 years only and You will get 2 lakh after 5 years. And After 7 years you will get 1.2 lakh more money as adjustment plan. So i thought of its the best to take. Once my documents are submitted then onwards no one responded to my calls, finally i got Policy documents in which SBI Life mentioned Endowment Assurance with Whole life maturity Date. I will not get anything after 7 years.

                                        i have sbi life insurance horizon-II policy with No [protected] and submitted for surrender. Till date i could not get the surrender money. kindly do the needful.
