I have been paying premium of 32000 every year since 2018. In 2022, there was delay in premium payment. so Cigna ttk canceled my previous policy and all associate benifits and gave us new policy without any intimation.

The cheated us without even sharing hardcopy documents. When we approached them for claim after my fathers cateract surgery, they are not responding and denying to pay. According to them i had to forgo all my premium payments. I am lower middle class customer earning hard to approached Cigna ttk to ensure my parents health needs are met when it is required.

This company looted my money. Being a common man, I remained helpless.

      Policy number PROHLN[protected]
      27th July I applied for my new baby added after paying extra premium amount Rs. 9935/-
      Due to medical reason they canceled it on 2nd Aug and told I will get back my extra premium within 7 days. But still now I did not get back. customer care are not helpful. Please look into this matter.

        Dear Sir/Madam,
        My agency Code - 1031438 of cigna manipal TTK insurance company Ltd and another code PLIL70051648 pramerica life insurance, is still showing in force on IRDA PAN LOOKUP PORTAL. After several times follow up to branch where the application has submitted on the month of May, and also mail to [protected]@irdai.gov.in for removing my PAN but I didn't get any replies from them and the same is still showing till date. Remove my PAN from IRDA PAN LOOK UP PORTAL It's my humble request to you please remove my agent Code from IRDA PORTAL as I have already joined in an another company and now i am unable to login any cases regarding the same if it is not remove within this time frame I couldn't get any business and loose the golden opportunity. please take my request and do immediate action and help me.           I silpi Haldar I was agent with cigna TTK Health insurance and pramerica Life insurance in the 2018.I got Individual NOC both companies.but due to some problem now my pan card is not remove from IRDAI portal.its showing Pan Inforce.I couldn't any business in current company.kindly my humble request to u please remove my pan card from IRDAI portal urgent basis..its my complaint.presently i am too much suffering in this matter.please check out and solve this immediate basis..My agent code[protected]Health) and another code is PLIL 70051648.my pan card no : AOIPH4445J.

            In policy Documents they don't calculate correctly the amount of Bonus. My Policy is 7 years old for 25 lacs sum assured and every year 5% bonus is given. Still it is showing 2, 50, 000 as Bonus

                Loutestree holiday vacation approached for attending a seminar at private hotel in Udaipur I. Feb 2022, I attended it with my wife and purchased membership what they called as ownership at INR100000 for stay in 5star hotels fir vacation by commitment for 8yrs from Mr Rohit Rajput along with Jyoti madam.

                Now when I asked them for booking in 12June2023 Aayesha madam confirmed the booking but didn't paid to the hotel and we have to pay the money for stay, and since then nobody is relying to any call or message and all the numbers of Mr Rohit Rajput are all time out of service. They took INR 9500 as annual maintenance fees before confirming the booking.

                This company has cheated us, please help us getting our money back.

                      Hi,
                      My father, a senior citizen, In July 2022 underwent Cataract Surgery & submitted my claim(Claim No:[protected] for Rs 55, 816/-(including pre-post hospitalization charges)

                      we are a Cigna TTK customer from the year 2019 onwards and renewed our health insurance policy diligently each year. also, we don't have a single claim in these 3 years except this one.

                      I submitted all the docs prior to hospitalization and the cashless claim was approved for 38000/- and the hospital (L.V.Prasad Eye Institute, Madhapur) proceeded with the operation which cost 54, 000, and the hospital applied for a final settlement for 54, 000. However, the TPA denied the cashless claim from the hospital. I had to pay the amount from my pocket even though I hold an insurance policy with clean previous record history.
                      Then I had to apply for reimbursement. Then again, the TPA came in and denied the claim saying two points:
                      We have received claim documents for, claimant Mr. Rama Rao admitted at L V Prasad Eye Institute - Hyderabad hospital from 15 Jul 2022 to 15 Jul 2022 with the complaints of RT Eye cataract Claimant is covered under ManipalCigna Health Insurance Prohealth Group insurance Union Bank customers - Floater policy since 11 Jun 2019As per the available documents patient had K/c/o Pelvic girdle pain 4 yrs which is material to policy decision and was not disclosed in proposal form at the time of policy inception. Had these conditions been disclosed in the proposal form which forms the basis of the policy contract, we would not have issued the policy to this member at all. Claim stands denied under policy condition VI.1 duty of disclosure. We regret our inability to admit this liability under the present policy conditions. We also reserve the right to repudiate the claim under any other ground/s available to us subsequently.

                      The points to be noted are,
                      "how come My father has Pelvic girdle pain ??" as far as I know this pain will be a post symptom for pregnant women! and they denied telling the same reason!
                      "The MANIPAL CIGNA TTK HEALTH INSURANCE TEAM, clearly threatened us if we have stated all these at the policy inception they wouldn't be giving a policy for us!!" It, Just a nonsensical reason, forget about the above point about PGP this is a shameless act by the management of cingna ttk insurance.

                      This is so disappointing that none of the call center guys have any clue on what needs to be done because of the inactions of the backend team. They kept promising that it would be reimbursed & a complaint was also raised against it. at last, the claim is denied (CashLess and Reimbursement as well)
                      This is really pissing us off. We carry the health insurance policy to cover all our health needs in spite of the problems being pre-existing or post-discovered diseases after policy inception. This is like threatening the customers and disrespecting us after we diligently renew and pay for the policy.

                      I doubt the senior management is aware of these issues because, the overall SoPs seem to be substandard & at this technology era, we are forced to call the call center multiple times with no proper update/progress...it's literally going into a black hole...they kept on asking us same questions again & again & again.
                      and would circulate and escalate calls among many divisions !!!
                      It's so surprising how management was able to tolerate such inefficiencies for such a prolonged period of time.

                      I doubt the sincerity of both the Insurance Company & TPA in settling this claim, hence we are forced to reconsider different service providers.

                      I'm attesting all the proofs. I request you to reopen my claim & reimburse my amount immediately.

                        We (me and my wife) have one running health insurance policy in Manipal Cigna (Policy no: PROHLN[protected]
                        On last 29th July I applied for addition of my daughter in the same policy. Also I paid the extra premium amount Rs. 15, 179.14/- (for my daughter) via online from my kotak bank account.
                        Due to Medical history they rejected the policy only for my daughter and they informed me via mail on 30th july. Also on that mail they mentioned that I will get refund of the premium amount Rs. 15, 179.14/- within 7 working days. But still now i didnot get back my money. Already I requested the customer care so many times. but they didnot help me. please help me to get back my money.

                            I have been cheated by My Health Insurance provider and need your help in getting me justice.

                            Insurer: Manipal Cigna Health Insurance
                            Policy Inception Date: 10-Oct-2018

                            Manipal Cigna is denying with the document named Insurer_09262021_MedicalReport.pdf

                            I am fighting to prove with the documents named Proposer_09262021_DischargeSummary.pdf and Proposer_10062021_MedicalReport.pdf

                            My request is to look at the document that they are considering and also the documents that I am providing and give a fair judgment to my case.

                            More details can be found in the below email and I can provide a more detailed sequence of events if required.

                            On top of all these they are harassing us stating we will discontinue the policy.

                            What I want to just emphasize is the issue is from 5-6 months and not from 5-6 years as assumed by Manipal Cigna and I want them to reconsider and open my claim.

                            Manipal Cigna Team is not willing to reconsider my Claim and are providing the below reasons.

                            On scrutiny of the documents, it has been observed that We have received claim documents for, claimant admitted at Kasturba Hospital Manipal from 22/09/2021 to 26/09/2021 with the Complaints of Bilateral Knee Osteoarthritis. Claimant is covered under Manipal Cigna ProHealth-Protect V3 - Non-Floater policy since 10/10/2018. As per the available documents, patient is a known case of Bilateral Knee Osteoarthritis since 5 to 6 years. The ailment is pre-existing in nature. The pre-existing diseases and related complications are not admissible under the policy for a period of 48 months, hence the claim stands repudiated under the Policy Clause V.1. Pre-existing Disease Waiting Period. Also, the said ailment was not disclosed at the time of Policy inception, hence the claim stands repudiated even under Policy Clause VIII.1. Duty of Disclosure. We regret our inability to admit this liability under the present policy conditions. We also reserve the right to repudiate the claim under any other ground/s available to us subsequently.

                            They have made up their mind to deny the claim. Any email sent by me to any grievance level is addressed by one team and I get the same reply. They are not considering my corrected documents provided by a well known Hospital itself.

                            They are denying it for the below

                            Mismatch in Admission report and Discharge Summary due to mistake by Duty Doctor
                            The Duty Doctor wrongly filled the issue as from 5-6 years in the admission report while the main Doctor rightly mentioned it as the issue from 5-6 months. Manipal Cigna denied my claim by considering the admission report. However, the main doctor immediately corrected the report, handed over the corrected attested copy and updated the documents in their records.

                            I was expecting Manipal Cigna to reconsider my Claim with these documents. However, they don’t want to reconsider it at all.

                            As per my last call, they say below
                            Bilateral Knee Osteoarthritis will always be there from a longer time and not start from 5-6 months
                            The patient did not notice any issues in the past and always was fit and fine. However, sometime in Aug 2020, her Husband suffered from Hemiplegia ( Paralytic Stroke ) and lost sensation to the left side of the body. This might have caused the patient with more workload. However, since she started developing pain, she consulted the doctor on 16th July 2021 and even at that time the Doctor prescribed medicines and asked us to follow the medication. However again the pain was not bearable and the doctor examined the X-Ray and suggested that we go for the surgery. So, in this case should we not consider the issue as it started only from 16th July 2021 ( around 5-6 months back)?

                            We always think that any disease should not be neglected and treated immediately. Neither prepone or postpone. Some examples to prove that
                            We neither prepone or postpone any hospitalization to take the benefit from the insurer
                            a) One of the policy holders went for cataract operation just after completing 1 year of the policy. We did not wait for the 2nd year to take the benefit of 2 year waiting period
                            b) The same patient went for cataract operation of another eye just a month after attaining 65 years. We did not prepone the operation just to avoid the 20% copay after attaining 65 years.
                            c) Similarly, we went to the Doctor for knee pain only when the pain started but somehow, we are failing to convince Manipal Cigna.

                            Apart from this now they are also assuming that we did not disclose this during policy inception (Oct 2018)

                            The patient was perfectly fine during the policy inception and hence there was nothing specific to disclose.
                            a) The patient went to the dedicated checkup center just before the policy inception and underwent all the tests that were recommended.
                            b) Since the patient was fine, she was also able to travel domestic and international. A patient with knee problems would have not been able to travel for tourism purposes.

I was not satisficing their customer service so i have port my policy to other company. But today i have noticed that manipal cigna has taken 14276.12/ Rs from my credit card with out my permission. i dont want to continue with their policy. so i need my money back.                                   I taken a policy for my parents under Manipal Cigna pro health, now on 29th May 2021 the Apollo hospital, Greenwich road Chennai, made an cashless application responded to all the insurance query, but still the caseless request is not approved an I am recording it on 31st May 2021, as a customer I feel cheated this policy which I am holding is 2 years old and this the first time we are using this policy for covid infection. I am paying 16k to renew the policy every year.

                                  Kindly I advice not to take your insurance from this insurance, check their claim approval ratio before taking up any kind insurance, in this pandemic times their service are horrible and their true color is seen, I was not even getting a call back after requesting many call backs

                                      I submitted all documents on 6th nov. 2020. and after that same single-single documents asking me again and again with on 9th nov., 11th nov. 15th nov. 19th nov., 3rd dec. 9th dec. 10th dec., 21st dec. 2020.There is no reason to ask me same documents for verification. As already these documents submitted in hard copy at your office, which is in shivajinagar, pune.And each time customer executive is committed for 7 working days. its almost 46 days. Now its really harassing me. and forcing like a sucide myself. So its last request you to release claim amount within 2-3 days. otherwise i am going to take serious action with recoded calls to public. As i am very frustrated to call each time to cigna ttk executive and begging my amount.

                                        My policy number prohlt[protected]

                                        I paid my premium amount, before due date.. But my amount refund back to me after expiry of my insurance policy.. You guys have to inform me before the policy end date.. With out informing me, you refunded my amount.. Still now you guys not informed me.. I only come to know through my bank..

                                        Don't you think it's your responsibility to inform to customers abt the status of policy.. Now, what is my insurance status.. Please answer.. I am sending emails, but i didn't receive any proper email or call for what reason they suspended/refund the amount..
