I booked a ticket in Seabird bus to travel from Shimoga to Bangalore via Paytm. The travel date was on 12th Feb at 11.50 PM, pick up place-Seabird office-Shimoga. PNR - 3677587.
On the date of travel, I saw all the private buses being sent back for permit check and the trips were cancelled. When I reached Seabird office at 11.30 PM, the office attendant said the bus will come to pick us up in a while and he went out. He came back by 12.15am and said the bus is stuck for checking and the chances of the trip was less. He asked us to make alternative arrangement and the the ticket amount will be refunded. We waited till 12.30am and left to KSRTC bus stand thinking of not to take chances in case of delay. I again had to pay for KSRTC volvo again and go.
When I called back to the office asking for the refund, they are telling that the bus went for the trip at 12.45am due to delay in checking. There is no refund for the trip.
Now please tell me, why were we told to make other arrangements. And who will wait for 1 more hour for the trip. There was not even a call from the bus driver or from the office informing about the tarvel.
This was a pathetic service and I am very upset with the travels.
I am at least demanding for a refund for my loss.
I am nowhere travelling in Seabird hereafter and informing others also not to travel! Was this information helpful? |
