Seven Mantras — Emergency car essential kit | |||||
I ordered the "Emergency car essential kit" on 24th Aug, 2016 from Seven Mantras. Order no 4585342. I got the delivery around 1st week of Sept. When i started using the air compressor in the kit, I realized it is defective. The pressure gauge was not showing any pressure at all. I tried it in various vehicles but still it did not show any pressure. I immediately reported this to the customer care of Seven Mantras (Around 7th or 8th Sept). I was told to share the photos of the compressor. I did that promptly. I was told I will get the replacement soon. I followed up for 3 weeks but I didnt get any replacement. I kept getting answers that my request is in progress etc etc. But finally after 3 weeks, i called them up again and they said I can claim for refund. I did that. I was told I will get the refund. I gave my bank details to them. I waited again for 2 weeks but didnt get any refund. I kept getting answers that my request is in progress. Finally the defective product was taken back (reverse pick-up) and then I was told refund will happen within 3-4 days. But there was no refund even after one week. Finally, when I called them again (in the last week of October), I was told I cant get the refund as i did not return the entire kit and I will get the replacement for the air compressor ! But originally, my complaint was ONLY for the defective air compressor. So why will I return the entire kit? And then was why I told from beginning that I will get the refund? When I tried calling them, my calls are going unanswered. I have written to them ([protected]@sevenmantras.com) thrice since then (28th Oct, 29th Oct and 1st Nov), but there has been no response.
