My father was using standard chartered bank credit card. As it was in 1998 my father is unable to collect the exact limit, but it was around 16000. My father used card, cleared all the debt and spoked to bank person to closed the card. As per my conversation on call with neha from shaha finlease customer care (Dated 22 jan 2020, 12:51pm recording is saved – she was unable to take proper name of shaha finlease, is it a joke that employee is unbale to take proper name of company where she is working).
Neha from shaha finlease and his manager says “ in 2010, standard chartered bank has given rights to shaha finlease have rights to recover debt from my dad.” wherein in the year 1988 (Clearly told the year 1988, recording is also there) my dad took card standard chartered bank credit card, my dad swiped and write off amount in 1998 inr 23, 504. Inr 3, 16, 09, 952 current outstanding, putting penalties and interest on inr 23, 504. They have been harassing my dad, every alternative day every after 2 days. I spoke to standard chartered they say that they have not given any such thing to any 1.
Neha and receptionist from shaha finlease says that in 2010 rbi has given the rights to shaha finlease to recover some standard chartered debt from my dad.
I visited the website of shaha finlease, it says that

    I had taken a credit card from standard chartered in 2001and i had hardly used that card and i had cleared all the dues and completed all the payments on that card. Then in 2010 standard chartered sold all accounts to shaha finlease without informing the account holders. And now shaha finlease called me to clear dues and gave me letter billing 23 lakhs without reason. And this has also affected my cibil score and has stopped all my loan procedures.
    Whereas i had cleared all the dues and the card was expired still i get a letter billing 23 lakhs from shaha finlease.
    Need to resolve this issue as soon as possible.

    This is regarding as my father Suresh Kondalkar, he had closed all dues and paid all pending payments of and it has been closed by same year due to multiple pressures from your service agents.

    Now 23 lakh is reflecting in my cibil report as outstanding. Kindly check from your system and enclose the bill details for which my dad has closed credit account 17 years back.
    We don’t have any details about that / no messages / no calls from bank in this 17 years.

    Now we are facing problems due to the cibil score in our loan processing.

    We want that to be sorted out from our cibil account kindly do needful.

    As I said at that time after clearing dues SCB told that they will send the completion via courier but i did'nt receive any letter till date. I assumed that the account is closed but Shah finlease calls me after 10 years for this. This is Pathetic.
    And Shah finlease representative is talking rude and rubbish on the call regarding this. Talking in a very unprofessional way.

      We have taken a personal loan may be in 2001. After paying some of the instalments due to loss of job we have spoken to Standard Chartered Bank for a one time settlement. As per their terms we have paid Rs.15000/- by cash and obtained a full and final settlement letter from the bank on 29/03/2004. Now after 15 years somebody from your company called up and abused me as a defaulter. Kindly look into this and stop people from further harassment. Thanks

      I am surprised to see that I have taken credit card from SHAHA, that too in 20 years back. But I have never taken. However there is credit card taken from SCB is closed by me in 2000. But this is not updated.

        In reference to my cibil report iam stating that I am over due in credit card to SHAHA but I never approached SHAHA nor they approached me. How can SHAHA show overdue in credit card.this issue already I posted to cibil they are also making regular fallowup .
        Sir, as per my cibil report I didn't take any credit card from your institution.earlier I had a standard chartered card that has been closed a have a closed letter.plz I request you to look into the above matter and remove the over due amount from cibil.

          I have received offer letter for settlements of accounts of rs.12000 on dated 09.12.2005 from standard chartered bank vide by r.3213.

          Accordingly i have issued 2 cheque vide cheque no.593546 dated 23.12.2005 and cheque no.593547 vide dated 31.01.2006 of nkgsb bank jogeshwari branch..

          Both the cheques were duly honoured on 27.12.2005 and 04.02.2006.

          It is the moral duty of the bankers to clear the matters and place the same in the cibil but the bankers has not done the same from 2006 to 2017.

          We are hereby requesting you to clear this matters at the earliest.

            This is regarding as my father g muniraju from nandini layout bangalore, he had closed lended loan amount of 25 k at 2002 and it has been closed by same year due to multiple pressures from your service agents.

            Now 7.5 lakh is reflecting in my cibil report as outstanding. Kindly check from your system and enclose the bill details for which my dad has closed the loan 17 years back.
            We don’t have any details about that / no messages / no calls from bank in this 17 years.

            Now we have started with the home construction because of this issue it has been reflected in our cibil score which in turn is not allowing for home loan.

            We want that to be sorted out from our cibil account kindly do needful.

            Sir as we had a delay of payment due to some issues but later due to continuous call from shaha finance we paid them cash in our office. Those people didn't provide any receipt on the same. They made a note that it will be sent in the courier and made us to break the card in their presence. At the same time we had made a payment of sbi credit card also.

            It is paid as a cash sir. Genuinely we have paid them. We didn't get any notice or mail regarding that. So we thought everything's is cleared. It's been 17 years sir. We have documented many credit copies but from their end we didn't get any updates or closure regarding our due. Kindly help us.

            As a replica we have a sbi closure copy of the credit card payment what we have made. Both sbi and standard charted bank card due payment was cleared on the same month with 1 week difference. In the year 2002.

            Your employees have completely collected the amount in cash in our office. Then later they wrote a payment details in a piece of paper and informed us the receipt will be couriered to our residential address.

            We are very sure about the payment made, if not provide us the details of the person who were working in bangalore branch in the year 2002.

            So that we will lodge a complaint against those fraud employee and we will clarifiy this issue legally.

            As per our legal advisor he will take up this issue and clear in the court. Kindly provide those fraud details.

              I got cal after 16 years from Shaha that they have taken from standard chartered bank . They are asking me to pay money again to close my account which is reflected in cibil now. I have never heard or lend anything from shaha. I requested consumer court to take actions as many fraudulent are going through

              very basic question, you have under taken SCB on 2010 why there was no proper calls / messages when there is an outstanding loan of a customer and that it is 2019 almost 9 years and you are asking me to submit the closure bill which has made 16 years back bills.
              I don’t have any bills / it’s account details even none would be having this much old accounts details in locker.

              Dear consumer team,
              Please see the gap bank missed to follow up for 9 years to notify a customer when he didn’t pay the loan after 9 years they are threatening suddenly to pay me that outstanding money. Iam helpless how / dono what to do or where to move this case. Kindly assist

              More over in this generation if A customer missed to pay one or two month emi then definitely there will be a agent walk to door step and ask us to pay but for me not even a message or call received from your bank. That is something phishy here itself I can highlight

                Card was lost and it was intimated to the bank along with the fir copy on[protected], but it was not blocked and the same was misused, secondly someone deposited a cheque and without getting the cheque cleared it was topped up and reused, later the cheque got bounced. This came into my notice after 2 months. I went and met mr. Milind dalvi the collection head at standard chartered bank. After hearing my part he assured me that he will validate how the amount was topped up with out the cheque got cleared and he himself said this was not the 1st case. He assured me, my part was clear so just have to pay the amt used prior[protected]. Which i paid and cleared it. I was also asked to apply for new card which i didnt as i was afraid after such fraud. Later after almost 8 years suddenly i get a call from shaha finlease stating the outstanding payable, i clarified them again luckily i had the scan copy which i shared it with them. They also assure that they will correct my credit in cibil. But unfortunately nothing happened. So help me to clear my credit in cibil.

                    I have already raised by complaint in apr 2019. My account was successfully closed 15 years before. That time it was not with shaha. While converting they should taken full details instead of part. I do not have any outstanding for shah. They have no right to effect by cibil. Kindly remove my name from the calling list. The callers are very abusive and calling all the unconcerned people.
                    Please take necessary action. Was the bank sleeping till then.

                        My photocredit card from stan chart bank was stolen in 2000 and used. I filed an fir with banjara hills police station. A copy of the same was sent by my lawyer to stan chart. There was no response to that.
                        Subsequently shah finlease took over and since been harassing me, my office staff. Many times i reminded them to see the case. I work in a psychiatric hospital. They are calling all numbers of my office including other doctors numbers. Thinking of filing complaint with trai and other forums.
                        Mr manoj/mr vishwanath and ms priyanka are frequent callers.
                        They are abusive and disturbing.

                          * I was living in Bangalore from 1997 till 2007 Feb. I had the credit card with Standard Chartered bank till 2004 for about 3 + yrs. I had always maintained a healthy transaction / clearance & good reputation with no late fees ever & thus a clean image, * In 2004 there was a fraudulent transaction on my card. Still, I had paid about 5+ k rupees more than what was rightly due & used by me
                          * I had lodged complaint with Standard Chartered bank, asking them to reverse the wrong charge levied against my card. I had written emails to them from my office mail id (as that was in their contact records), I had sent them fax messages. I personally visited the bank on MG Road Bangalore and submitted a letter disputing the wrong levied charges. Further there was absolutely no communication from bank side to me. So, I assumed that the card account is closed & matter ended
                          * Then I left India in 2007 for an overseas assignment. Till then I was using the same mobile number (that was provided by the office and had to return on the last day in office), that was in records of the bank
                          * The card was invalidated since 2004 May or so. Though I was in Bangalore at the same company under same mobile number, I had absolutely no calls / mails from the bank till I left
                          * In 2016, I received a call from the bank, on my overseas mobile number, stating that I still owe them and the total charges are now at 3.2 Lakh Rupee. I countered them that actually the bank should pay me back for that excess amount I had paid. The guy from bank was offering to negotiate - but the call was abruptly ended. After that I did not get any call from them
                          * Till Jun 2019, I have had NO call or communication from the bank. Now, a lady from Shaha Finlease called me stating that they are authroised by the bank to recover the amount, which is now staggering at 40+L due to interest. I countered that instead they should pay me that amount as I had paid extra to the bank than what was my due. I told her till 2007, I was very much in Bangalore, at same location & contact number, but the Standard Chartered bank never contacted me then, so why now? She was saying I was not available at the address & number in their records. I asked she could approach my previous office or police to check & confirm my domicile there then till 2007
                          * Now Shaha Finlease is kind of mentally harassing me - by calling my colleagues in the current oraganisation & naming me. My colleagues have already stated that the current company has no connection what so ever as I joined here only on 2007 & also that it is my personal matter.
                          * The calls from Shaha Finlease to my colleagues in office is tarnishing my image. It is also mentally disturbing me as this is affecting my office functioning.

                          Can some body pl advice me how should I tackle this case. Why should I pay anybody that I never owed them? Can I sue this company Shaha Finlease for trying to defame me, tarnish my image & mentally torturing me?

                            I had subscribed to CIBIL report and I am surprised to see one credit card ( Account No-[protected]) information stated in my account which does not belongs to me.
                            The information reads as credit card SHAHA and opened on 02/08/2003 and last payment on 04/03/00/2006 and status as written off. The amount over due is Shown as Rs-42, 04, 075. I had never taken a credit card from nowhere.
                            previously I had Requested to correct but till now no correction has been received in the CIBIL Report. Please update.

                              I had subscribed to CIBIL report of April, 2019 and I am surprised to see one credit card information stated in my account( account No Written as [protected]) which does not belongs to me.
                              The information reads as credit card from SHAHA and opened on 02/08/2003 and last payment on 04/03/2006 and status as written off. The amount over due is shown as Rs-42, 04, 075.00. I had never taken a credit card from SHAHA/standard chartered Bank and had it written off/defaulted.
                              therefore, I request to correct the above said problem to increase my CIBIL Score.

                                Hi,

                                My father had already paid the amount which was due in 2005 to SC bank and now after 14 years someone is calling us again and again to recover that amount when there is certain amount of emails exchanged between the bank and my father 14 years back for settlement.

                                People from your organization have gone to such extent that they are calling everyone in the family along with our respective work places again and again asking for us.

                                This is highly unethical on all ground and if it wont stop I will have to raise a complaint to the higher authority.

                                  My wife is getting repeated threatening calls from some unknown numbers claiming to be calling from abn amro bank credit cards which was taken over by rbs banking and also mentioning kotak mandira bank name is taken by them.

                                  They also mention that its collection for the year 2007 card, would like to inform you that the card was fully paid off by me and was was submitted at the banks branch in fort in 2008.

                                  Then why am i getting calls for the same after 12 years.

                                  My wife is a patient of low blood pressure and due to the calls she got very tensed and had concussion.

                                  Why are these unethical collection practices followed by the banks for collection of cards which are already paid off 12 years ago, am i eligible to pay again for the mistakes of your staff who fail to fulfill their process request you to resolve the issue at your end and stop harassing your customers for the lapse in services of your staff.

                                  If the calls are not stopped i will escalate the issue further to the finance ministry ms nirmala sitharaman and if further reqd to the pmo.

                                  Hope for a positive and ethical response on my mail from the bankers.

                                    There is a credit card from shaha finlease which is showed in my husband cibil, he never applied for this credit card any point in life, we are hearing the name only now. Secondly it is showing the amount due more than 1crore, this is affecting his cibil scores... Because of that we are not able to get any loan and it’s a mental trauma kindly resolve this issue asap

                                      I have been repeateadly receiving call from shaha finlease for no reason. I was told i[censored]npaid charges of scb for 2004. Was the bank sleeping until then. I had already settled all the dues in cash to the scb executive. Now after 15 years they are asking for proof. This is rediculous. Even when i have already settled the due why i am asked for prrof now. And who maintains papers for 15 years when its already. I have shifted my home multiple times. So if i have already cleared dues in cash, why am i troubled now.

                                      Though nothing is pending for payment from my side, why my CIBIL is shown incorrectly just because of this. This is totally unfair. Was the agency not able to allocate payment and take details from their executive then 15 yrs before. Why my CIBIL is affected for their failed process. I want everything to be corrected. I have no dues pending. check my last 5 yrs record because since then i started taking loan. Check my track history ever if I have missed to pay any payment/ EMI. I am going to file a case for mental torture and false statement.
                                      I do not have the account number now. Its 15 years now that have already been cleared that too in cash.
