I & my relatives used to get a lot of harrassing calls from various staff of Shaha finlease regarding pending payment for a standard chartered credit card of 20 years back.
They even report your outstanding to cibil & show the outstanding amount with interest as more than Rs. 2 crores resulting in lowering your cibil score.
Any Such cases of more than 3 years are not even legally valid.
They just want to extort money from you by harrasment. They eventually agree to settle for few thousand rupees but even after you pay them, they will not update your cibil records & keep calling for more money.
Best way to deal with this is buy a paid account of cibil & then you can find in your records outstanding of huge money default by Shaha. You simply report to cibil that this loan doesn't belong to you & cibil will delete that loan from your account & you will also not get any calls from shaha finlease since they cannot blackmail you anymore about cibil & any which ways they cannot complain against you in any court or police station.
