Shine.com a job portal in the disguise of providing jobs has extorted money from me by allegedly coercing me to subscribe for their services initially for the amount of 5307.88, 9769.26 and 17621.69 for availing education check, employment check and resume writing service which the manager said would be the last, again they sent me another invoice for amount of 24779. This is blatant extortion and exploitation of innocent and hard working citizens. I'm utterly disappointed and disillusioned in the manner these agencies operate in the name of providing jobs and coercing people.

    I was connected by Shine team, few days ago & informed that I need to pay Rs. 3027, for special services to attract better job opportunity, which I paid, the concerned executive told her name as Anshu Jha. then yesterday I received a from an executive from shine & he introduced himself as Jatin my relationship manager. We started conversation & during our conversation he told me that I need verify 1-2 process to start getting services for which I said ok. He initiated a payment link of Rs 5192 & told this payment is required for education verification for him to start. Then after this payment he sent one more payment link & told this is the last payment I need to do, if I want a good job opportunity. It was Rs. 9556, I was reluctant to pay but he said this last payment required for Employment verification. After making these two payments he again sent a payment link & told me to pay Rs 16000 approx more & said that if I won't pay this amount, he won't be able to provide me full services & only half services will be provided. Then his manager named Vivek started discussion with me & pushed me to pay that amount too, but because of network issue I couldn't pay this amount, meanwhile I heard from the background that he was telling his team members to send other links of payment after this payment. Then I doubted his intentions, and felt that I have been cheated by shine team in the name of offering better job services. I told him that I can't pay anything more, then he threatened me to close my profile, which he did & I lost Rs. 18, 000 to shine team, which is cheating candidates & spoiling market image of company.
    Your team did it intentionally by informing me the total cost of package & even they took Rs 18, 000/- & didn't bother to return my money when I said no to their services.

    Since shine team cheated my by not telling me everything in beginning & then closed my profile when I didn't pay more money, I want my money back.
    I want a resolution for the same.
    I expect a better solution for me. For supporting documents I'm adding screen shot of all the mail I received from your team.

      I just recieved a sms like HR number and airline job. So i called to that number ([protected]) akansha. She asked about the regiatration fees ₹1200 and again after some days she again asked about the documents pocedure payment like ₹3500 and again after some days she called and again asked about the couriering procedure like ₹9500 .then needed for packing the things like dress and all she again asked ₹14500 so totally I had been cheated from them like approximately ₹30000. It was my scholarship amount really i am from middle class family so this is a heavy amount for me so i am begging you to help me as soon as possible i have their bank account number and ifsc code also and screenshot of every invoice so please help me to get my money back

      It's all business done by woohoo gift card company in the name of qwikcilver solution benglore. You can go and check there google review, so please go and register FIR against them. It will help you. Or 2nd option do there social media publicity. Only this way they will stop this nonsense and you will get your money back.

              A girl called me this morning (06/01/2021, ph. number: [protected]) regarding job. I was talking in decent manner and when I said that I will let her confirm regarding the job by tomorrow, she abused and hung up.

              Is this the behavior to talk to your client? She mentally harassed me. And I want you to ask her to call me and apologize to me. And disbarred such candidates who doesn't know how to talk.

              If your company is targeting any specific number of clients to pay for their job that's good but make sure that your colleagues talk with manners.

                Today i have chatted with shine.com agent to ask about any annual package for profile highlighting they told me to share mail and mobile number but i haven't shared .Suddenly i have received a call from shine.com they told you have raised an query regarding that we called

                i told them that i want to know any annual package is there they forwarded call to one of their associate and asked me to pay some amount about 3185/- to highlight my resume .they asked me to stay in line and asked me to pay through some email that have been sent to mail and i payed 3185 /- afterwards they told that they will assign to one of their executive as a coordinator to my profile .

                after 2 hours coordinator who they assigned called and asked me all about my job experience and salary and he told that we have to check educational certificates and for that again they asked me to pay 5185/- and asked me to stay in line and pay but i got doubt and i didn't pay my family members asked me to search in internet and so i did and found that as fraud steeling money .kindly keep case on him and refund my money

                    Hi there,
                    I'd like to file a complaint against shine.com. They called me and offered some services which the shared over the email and asked me to pay some amount. I paid the amount considering the profile booster they will give to my profile for job searches. They also assigned me a Relationship Manager who they said will work with me on improving my profile and chances. To my surprise the RM asked me to verify the documents for which I have to pay another fee which they calculate based on my experiecne and education qualification. I found this fishy and came here to see similar complaints from so many users.
                    I dont want any of their services and simply want my money back. This is a scam they are running.

                                Hi Team,

                                My name is Sumit Prajapati i have registed on buy a profile booster package of 3292rs..after that they asked me to pay more amount of 5192 tolding that its a part of subsription and they again demanded 9556/- rs for other services saying that i will not get any benifits so i paid and they they demaned rs 15928 saying if i not paid then it will go on auto mode and they will not be responsible i didnt had money so they asked me to pay through zebpay i lost all my saving and salary and they didnt stop there again they called and said i have to pay rs 24779/- and blackmailed if i will not pay profile wi go on auto mode...this all happed today that is 31/12/1992. I lost all my saving i am already paying my home emi and taken personal loan also now my all saving gone and new EMI started on zeb pay...please help to get my money back.

                                I am attaching all email of order and invoice and transactions.

                                  Hi Team,
                                  I have received a call from the Shine.com and asked for payment for premium services then I made the payment with amount of 3736.83 post that they asked for another payment and told me that If i do not make the payment then no use of ealier payment then I made the payment with amount of 4775.02. As they did same thing again and again, at last I have made the total payment of amount rs.16951.16.
                                  Now they are asking for payment with amount of 11000 appx. to use premium services of shine.com.

                                  And i am not capable to make the that amount to them. Hence, I have asked for refund to me. However they confirmed to me that refund cannot be initiated to me.

                                  Please help me out with this situation

                                      I have spoke to Mr.Arjun from Shine.com as a costumer care representative and would like to register a complaint against him.
                                      As a client to Shine.com I have full rights to make a decision on purchase of any career package. Let me explain you in detail about the unprofessional attitude of your representative.
                                      I had spoke to your client services representative and he suggested me to purchase a career growth package and I had denied it as I was not interested in it presently. Even after my denial he contacted me on WhatsApp which itself is unprofessional and upon no response from me he saved/ took screenshot of my profile picture and commented on it.
                                      I have never expected such a unprofessional behavior from any company representative.
                                      Highly ashamed of Shine.com and its professionalism.

                                        Hi,

                                        I received a call stating that my profile is good and I can avail premium services to get a new job inside or outside the country. Since I have been on the lookout for a new job since many months, I have taken some time to decide whethere I should opt for the service or not, and after discussing with family and friends, I had decided to opt for the services. Inclusing India, Canada, Europe and Singapore, I was asked to make the total payment of ₹8, 203. I have invoice of the payment in my inbox. After the payment, roughly six hours later, I received a call again to pay ₹15, 000 more so that my profile could be updated and published as per international standards before the time limit of 24 hours after making payment for premium membership service. This information was not shared with me and I was not given any hint that I would have to make additional payments after the first payment. I refused to make the payment of ₹15, 000, but I was told that I will have to withstand any loss as they would not be responsible if I do not receive good job opportunities because I did not make the payment sue to which my profile would be published in its incomplete form after 24 hours of the the first payment. I firmly believe that it is highly irregular to demand such payments on unreasonable grounds, this way of functioning is strange, and I demand a complete refund of the amount I have paid (₹8, 203)as I do not wish to avail any of their services anymore and I am highly dissatisfied with the unprofessional conduct and misdemeanour of Shine.
