I am getting SMS's on regular basis from different sources towards providing employment in Bandhan Bank, Axis Bank, etc. Sometime back when. I enquired in the phone nos provided they committed to provide employment & asked me to visit their office
at Kolkata. When I visited there, they told me that someone will call you within next 72 hrs. I got a call and they asked me to pay Rs. 3100/-, then they will send appointment letter of Bandhan Bank. I refused to pay any amount because I I understood that no bank hire any employee with proper exams and interviews.
All these call are coming with reference of Shine.com.
Kindly look into the matter as I think it is spoiling the name of your organization.

Shine.com Customer Care's response
Dear Sir/Ma'am,

Thank you for contacting us.

Many unethical people take advantage of the brand and run scams/frauds misrepresenting Shine. We have been receiving such complaints from some customers/general public who have become victims of such fraudulent and cheating activities at the hands of many criminal elements.

This is to bring your kind notice that the details do not belong to shine learning. Like, these days a lot of fake recruiters are calling the candidates using the name of reputed job portals and extract heavy money from them. Shine.com is not responsible for and expressly disclaims all liability for any such communication via email, SMS or phone call by a frivolous source claiming to have got the contact details of the concerned person through or representing Shine.com.Therefore jobs seekers are advised not to indulge in any monetary engagement with such sources in the name of guaranteed interviews with employers or refund as we do not have any refund policy https://learning.shine.com/tnc. We advertise this in our own newspaper Hindustan Times.

Request you to please do not share your debit or credit card details with anyone. Please go through the disclaimer on our website: https://www.shine.com/myshine/disclaimer/

Regards,
Team Shine

    Address: Gurugram, Haryana

Shine.com agent approached me to register to their site to get a good service. Once I registered, a relationship manager was assigned to me her name was shweta
She cunningly told me that two steps will be carried out and after 2 minutes conversations she said she is going to initiate the process and and sent me mail which had a link to pay money it was of Rs. 1850. As I paid at once she arranged my telephonic interview with someone nxt day, and the interview happed and sent another mail and asked why do you pay only one fees, though there is another fees you have to pay. It was Rs. 6500 for my documents verification through world verification center and I paid it by my mothers salary as we are from lower middle class family and only have mother and small brother to get job fast i my mother agreed to pay the money. Next day she mailed me a mail of company and asked me to pay 13995 for my employment payroll reports I paid it by mortgaging my mothers jwellery as she told me it is refundable and i will get it back within 3 4 days once I join the company so my mother agreed to pay it and next day she told me that the company is opening your salary account and so we need to make a dd to open the account where i need to pay an amount of Rs.20000 - I said this is too high and we really don't have any money left now we paid the 1st 2 amounts by my mothers salary n the nxt amount bt taking loan. She responded that this is the last amount you have to pay and after nothing else. I said that i really cant pay this money now u please refund my money back so she responded that, she can't refund it as its been sent to the company and if now i wont pay this money neither i will get the job nor i will get my money refunded back so some how I arranged the money from my friends without telling my mother as she was already stressed due to the loans so i paid it to her and she said you will get this money back as soon as your account gets activated by bank in 2 days bt yet i havent received a single msg from the bank or the company. Very soon she said that you will get all the money back till Monday as its your visiting date in the company. Bt nothing has happened thit now i have been waiting since 2 weeks. Now she dont even receive my calls everyday i call her around 20 to 30 times bt she dont even receive my calls and even if she rcvs she tells me that i am doing your work and tells me to wait. I request you guys please help me out please get me back my refund. My mother cant afford to lose this much money. please help me
    Thank you.

Soo why don't Shine do anything against such fake and fraud recruitment company. As they are uding your company name to exort money from people and that too such big amounts like 20000 to 100000. Its spoiling the name of Shine and shine is losing many customers because of that and the customer wont trust any job portals anymore. While the fraud companies are gaining more profits from it as no one complaints against them

Shine is promoting fraud hiring without verifying them, I got an SMS from Shine that i have selected for Spicejet ground staff, And then i got a call, did not know that the call was from fakes, they were professional, asked me to send my documents, I have sent to their mail.Immediately i got another call saying i have selected and if i pay 1800rs, i will be eligibe for HR round, my package will start from 1lakh-1.8lakh, Now i got doubt and checked spicejet official site, they were not recruiting, and others cant recruit for them, saw many similar complaints in consumer complaints as well, then i deactivated shine account, though i cant delete it permanently. But still i am getting fraud calls.I did not pay them. But, "I am not responsible for any misuse of my documents".Shine should verify the recruiters.Pictures regarding are below, careful guys.

I had updated my profile 15/8/2020 on shine.com as i need a job i want to do work from home.
Then 16/8/2020 i received a call from a girl named "tanvi gupta" from shine.com.

She told me about urgent vacancies for "work from home" in a company then also hdfc bank but before reserved my seat for interview i have to pay registration fee of "2500 rupees".
It's a job security deposit and is refundable when i want to get my money back.

And the reason for taking this money is that jobseekers after getting jobs leave the job without informing. So it's for security purposes and one time payment. If i don't want to do a job i can seek another job here. I will register myself for one year on shine.

She told me that they will mail me everything about my payment proof and company profile and registration invoices.

I was convinced by her, she gave me a bank account detail where finally i made payment through my "google pay" also send her payment screenshot she sent me a job reference no hr06767 and i was asked to confirm this number before giving any interview.

Again she did a conference call where i had to verify myself. She asked me name, email id, location and profile i wanted a job for.
Then again she conferencing me with "hr. Jaspreet kaur" who told me that i will receive email tomorrow and i have to send some document are following

                10th marksheet
                12th marksheet
                Collage marksheet
                Pan card
                Aadhar card
                Photo
After that she said to me they have sent my cv to hdfc bank and my interview is scheduled at 17/08/2020 in between 10:30 to 11:30 am from the bank manager or assistant manager.

Ok, now today 17/08/2020 i received call from her for interview and now again conferencing me with manager it's strange i should have called by the bank number.
He asked me some question it was aokok so called interview, i asked him where is your branch before telling me he asked me that don't you inform by mam i told him i was informed about mere bank name hdfc but not the where is branch situated he told me that hdfc mumbai branch.

He asked me some questions and told me i will be informed in half an hour, but i didn't receive a call from him then i called tanvi. She told me to wait, they will call, they must be busy taking another interview.

After calling her, i received a call from hr jaspreet. She told me that i was selected hardly but they applied their reference so i am now selected. Now you will be trained for 3 days. From which time i can join? I told her i can join anytime.

They told me to visit hdfc but i refused to visit because i belong to a village and now i am not able to visit there because of lack of transportation.

She told me it's ok you will be verified by video calling i told her ok, no issue. But now she asked me again for money, i was told i have to make 5500 payment for training after training they will refund me 5000, 500 rupees will be cut for processing fees
I refused to pay. She told me "you are not visiting and we will send you letter which i will receive till evening and we will send all the work online so for security purposes you have to pay us some amount which is refunded. I told her to send me mail even they didn't sent me payment confirmation mail, she told me payment proof also will attached in the email, she refused to send me mail before payment
I asked her for another job references she told me wait let me ask from tha manager. Then again called me and told that everything has confirmed in hdfc but if i have doubt they get me mailed in which my application will be attached but i was asking for my"2500" refund she told me wait let me ask from this manager and didn't call me yet and when i called her i was in waiting list.

Can you please help me in this regard?

There is some ppl representing from adecco india for international job placement. They get interviews done and try to collect nominal fee for verification of documents. They charged me 4000 inr. To verify my documents.

Later after the interview - they send me an email stating that offer letter will be shared within a week and i need to transfer 40000 inr.

I then called the singapore company to confirm the job offer and found this people are just faking jobs to take money from ppl who are currently in situation without job.

This is pathetic - i have also reported this to mr jain (Sp _ cyber crime) and other officials reporting the same issue.
Please ensure you let you job poster post the job only after the verification is done.

                        Dear sir,
I received a call from shine executive on 14rh aug at 1048. He didn't introduce himself but asked me whether he was speaking to glen. I answered in a positive. Then he started explanation to me the schemes in a fake american accent. Si i told him to please speak correctly as i could not understand his vocab. To that he started abusing profusely. I told him you cannot abuse your customers. But he kept on abusing. So i hung up the phone. His name was amit and called from the number [protected]. I have done call recording of the same.
I received another call at 311pm. Another customer executive who didn't introduce herself, but on asking she disgustingly replied that her name is jyoti. Call recording also available for this. Nbr is [protected].
I guess shine.com has no customer service ethics in speaking to customers.
Plese let me know what action has been taken on the 2 executives.

                                Respected sir,
I want to bring into your notice that, indian youths are cheated in the name of jobs from shine.com.
Many o[censored]s want a good job to support our family, but this weakness o[censored]s is misused to make business by shine.com.
I will share my story here,
I received a call from shine.com and they asked me are you looking for a job. I said yes.
Then they asked me to pay 2655 rs as their professional fees.
I agreed and paid them 2655 rs, i have attached the payment receipt with this mail.
Then after a day, i received a call from them and they just manipulated me by telling that, i would be getting a job abroad for 80 to 90 lakhs package. They told spoke to me and they assured me that, i will get a job and made me pay a sum of 28, 034 rs.
I was not given the time to read their policy and i was literally manipulated and forced to pay the amount.
After this payment, they again asked me to pay 45, 847 rs.
Then i suspected something is wrong and i denied the payment and asked for a refund and i am not willing to proceed with their services.
They told them they don't have any refund policy and they cannot refund my amount. I was completely down. With no other option, i asked them to proceed. Within 30 mins i realized, that, if i proceed then i will not be liable for a refund. So asked them to stop the services.
And i insisted on a refund, again so much communication happened and they were not ready to agree for a refund.

Then i browsed over the internet and came to know that, i am not only the one who is cheated like this. There are so many people who are in search of a job are cheated like this.

Then i thought of raising the voice against the issue.
If this way youths of our country are mislead then it will be a metal issue on them, because this might be the money they have kept for feeding their family.

This is a very much organized way of cheating which is happening.
I know this a consumer court issue, i will be raising a complaint there too.
I want to stop these people from cheating many more youths of our country.

Our country needs a still sophisticated law for these kinds of online scams.
And no tax is paid in many cases of digital marketing, we need policies for that too.
Now because of having phone anyone can call anyone and manipulate them.
We need a strict law about this telephone influencing too.

What if a son of a farmer trapped like this, what if he ends up paying 75k to 1 lakh rupees dreaming for his bright future and end up cheated by the companies like shine.com.
They will tell they don't have a refund policy, then what will be the impact on his family situation.

I insist to take strict action against these companies.

I am attaching all my payment proofs with this mail.
                                Please refer them

                                Thank you,

Yesterday i paid rs.2655 to this company. And they even confirmed me that they will not demand more money again for anything. Even i asked them regarding the profile and resume that man said they will not ask for money again. But within next 24 hours i got a call that i need to pay more 6000. This is completely cheating. They should have told us first that we need to pay more. And now all my 2655 rupees are wasted. Provide me jobs or give me my money back. It's not even 24 hours i have paid. Please go through this.
