I enrolled for learning. Shine's aws devops certification training when the shine's education counsellor - shahbaz abdullah on may 1st, 2020. While enrolling, i was told about weekend class, which i declined and said i am specifically looking for weekday class, for which shahbaz assured there are weekday classes as well, monday-friday 8:30pm to 11:30pm, which would start from 5th may. After making the payment, i received login links from "edureka" shine's partner for training and saw that it was only for weekends and it starts from 30th may. I reached out to shahbaz again on this, for which i was informed that "edureka" stopped weekday "online" classes due to covid-19! I was asked to access the recorded session instead, if i cant wait till month end and if i cant attend weekend classes. Upon pointing out that the amount paid is for live class and i get recorded classes for much less amount from other vendors (I paid 23k) and i would like to cancel my subscription and need a refund processed. For this, shahbaz started emotion blackmail stating he will lose his job, he is the only bread winner for his family and to adjust. This didnt sound convincing and looks like he was just upselling and trying to meet his "targets". I was curt and ask him to cancel and process my refund, post which no response from him to my email and no response on phone, he has blocked my number looks like. I tried calling shine support, no answer on their number. Someone from shine named sagar reached out to welcome me to shine, i explained my situation, for which i was assured it will be "looked into" and no response after that. This is a pathetic experience. I need my refund!
