I got a call from a girl mahip. I paid 2300 rs for highlighting my profile. Her manager arya called said 12500 more needs to be paid. I refused. To trouble me they have sold my resume to third rate recruitment agencies who demand money. I get these calls evey 5 minutes. I am fed up. They are refusing to refund my money. I want them to stop these calls from frauds. Shine.com is the biggest fraud in the world. I spoke to a cudtomer service rep subir who was rude unhelpful. Very pathetic work culture there. How can you sell customer information like this

    Dear sir,

    I, sucharita basu, an educationist by profession, presently principal of silver point school in south kolkata. I am looking for a change of job. I got the contact of a person at shine.com and his contact no is ; [protected]. I have been in conversation with him since wednesday 30th october, 2019.

    I was told that there was a vacancy coming up in south city international school, a reputed school very near to my home. I spoke to this gentleman.
    I was asked to enroll by paying an amount of 3550/-.
    After the payment, i received a list of documents to be submitted. The last one being a verification certificate. Not being able to furnish that, i was asked to pay an amount of 12, 950/- for which i received an acknowledgement mail.
    Following this, as per our continuous telephonic conversation, and as promised by the gentleman, a telephonic interview was held on 2nd november at 3pm for 15 minutes. I was told that they will get back to me via shine.
    On the 4th of november, i received an email from south city international stating that they are offering me the post of principal. It was very clear to me that the letter was a spam mail. I contacted shine and they asked me to forward the mail, which i did. They called immediately to say that this was a fake mail.
    In the evening on the same day, i received another mail from shine stating that if i want my appointment letter i must submit as security deposit an amount of 17, 500/-. This was followed by a conversation with the same gentleman. Now i must admit that i was feeling apprehensive that something was not right. A principal can never be appointed without a face to face interview. I refused to pay this big sum.
    Now i am really having doubts about the authenticity of this entire organisation. Do you charge money at every step. It is really very unfortunate that an organisation of your repute turns out to be a fraud. I thought of approaching shine.com directly to know the real picture. As shine members we do not wish to be cheated. If some people are misusing your name, you need to take action.
    I am attaching all the mails received.
    Hoping to receive some positive feedback at the earliest.

      Hi,

      I have taken this course "Data Scientist Masters" Program from Shine.com which is going to begin in Jan, 2020. The total amount paid for it is Rs 90269. I was recommended by one Rahul Dubey from Shine.com to go for ZestMoney which provides finance in 6 EMIs without any interest. I went for the same. I have to pay EMI of Rs 13126 per month and one EMI I have paid. However I have sudden financial problem and would like to cancel the cancel the course. As per Zest Money, the amount is 100% refundable. I have send a cancellation request to Zest and Shine. Zest is saying once Shine provides them a confirmation mail they will provide 100% refund. However Shine is denying me a refund saying is is against their policy. I am in deep financial problem and cant pay EMI due to the same. I see there is a possibility of refund as per website but they are still denying it.

      Please let me know what I need to proceed further to compel Shine to refund me the amount.

        I am jagrati chawda, on[protected] i got a call from aditi (Shine.com). She told me i am select from indigo airline then she told me to give a online test of rs 2000 which is refundable. So i paid to her account no. [protected] rs 2000/- & i am passed. After sometime they call me & told me you are eligible for 2nd round which is telephonic round but i have pay rs 6350 which is refundable but i do not paid to her account. Since, today[protected] they are not receiving our call.

          Hi, i got calls from the mobile number; [protected] (0n[protected], stating that the female voice is shruti from shine.com. After knowing that i am a phd in biochemistry she told me that cipla pvt ltd is having the opening at qc department. She asked me to pay rs 1700 as deposit for telephonic round. I paid the money and they forwarded me a set of questions for preparing for the interview along with a code. The next day[protected] i got a call from mob. No. [protected]. The female voice told me she is calling me from cipla. Asked me some questions and told me will let me know whether i got passed. Today[protected] i got call from [protected]. The female voice mentioned that its from the hr dept of shine.com and i have to pay rs 4500 for certificate verification. I dnt pay the money because truecaller showed me the number as fake shine hr. They are agin calling me and informing me that only after i make the payment of rs 4500, they will let me know the interview venue and date. I asked them to mail me the official notification of cipla. Then they replied that such vacancies can only be viewed by shine officials. The last mail from them is as follows:

          Hello administrator, Shine.com has done unwarranted transaction from my account while charging of RS 10 for completing registration today i.e on 2 nov 2019. Money debited was 44, 444 and I have launched the complaint in my back. Please stop these type of frauds and look into this request immediately.

            I m mohammad sadique ali, i registered my self in shine jobs on dated 05/01/2019. First i got a call from urside to pay 2359 for pre services registration on 4 nov.2019 at evening. I did that after that then my call transfered to some senior he said that my profile review and verified certificate for job but i have to pay rs 5199 but l denied for that and she said ok with your previous services charges. At that time i felt something happened in wrong direction. On next day i told him plz refund my money back which i was paid she said the amount is non refundable. Sir plz tell me which company takes money for conducting interview. I know that consulting companies charge some amount for registration. But that experience of mine was not good.               I made an order on date 27-9-19 from Shein.in .. Till now I didn't receive my order.. According to the shein site, customer should receive the order within 14 days but I didn't.. I tried so many times to shein site customer care by call and also by chat but every time they gave me assurance to take patience.. last time I assured by one of the customer care executive that I wil receive my order by 31-10-19 but I didn't received it yet.. They assured me that either I wil receive my order by 31st October or they will refund the amount automatically.. but there is no update I got from shein site.. please help me to resolve my problem as I Indian customer. This is the only hope I found..

                  we were told to pay 10 rs on the shine.com website and suddenly I received a message that my 3800 rs was deducted from my account
                  Then I got a call from shine .com, they told me to provide again a otp as they want to refund my 3800 .. fortunately I didn’t provide them the details
                  This is so disturbing .. the guy keep on calling me from shine.com and asking me to provide otp so he can refund the amount in my account. His name was Vishal sharma and his id was shin3214ed.
                  First of all it feels you guys are hacking our account and charging the amount .. secondly if I call ur call Center no body is replying which is pathetic
                  How can I get my money back???

                    Shine is totally a cheating company where they dont promise on the service that they offer.
                    Below are the two service that i have opted for for for 3363/-. After taking the service, now they are calling asking to pay for another service, which is totally junk and non-ethical for the such a big company. Dont know how to take them to the court and help the people who are really paid their hard earned money to these guys and they got cheated.

                    Even now also they will just call and they will ask to pay for other services, which is total ridiculous.

                      Initially, i got a call from shine.com regarding profile highlighter package. They asked me to pay rs. 2359. They told that the profile will be highlighted and you will get lot of interview calls. I told them i am not interested. They can keep an calling me. I asked them what is the total amount for this service. They told that the amount is only rs. 2359 (Payment reference id[protected]. The next day i got a call from another person named saroop. He told me that i have to pay another rs. 24, 936 for verification purpose. I asked them what is the purpose and initially they told no extra amount for this service. He told me that he cannot active this service unless i pay the amount.

                      I asked him to give me time for 2 days to check on this service. He told me that this is month end and i need to pay with in today to activate this service.
                      I paid the amount rs. 24, 936 (Payment reference id[protected]. He rushed me to make the payment. I thought that the procedure is completed.

                      Again, i got a call from him asking to pay another rs. 44, 258 for education verification and he added me some courses without my acknowledgement.
                      He told me that i will get interview calls only when my education details are verified. I told told him that i cannot afford this package due to high cost and questioned him why he had added courses without my acknowledgement.
                      He told me that i will get interview calls only these courses are done. I asked him many times to confirm whether this is the final payment and there will not be any additional payment. He confirmed me that this will be my final payment. I paid rs. 44, 258 (Payment reference id[protected].

                      Again, i got a call from him asking him to pay another rs. 46, 442 to continue this service. I was completely shocked and broken. I questioned him why didn't mention this earlier and why you confirmed me that final payment is done. For that, he didn't have any answer.

                      I told him that i am willing to continue this service and please help to refund my amount. He told me that they cannot refund the amount and i need to pay this rs. 46, 442 to continue the service. I was in a do or die situation. This is like placing a pistol in our head and bribing money.

                      He then connected the call to his manager malviya. He also told the same that refund is not possible and i should pay rs. 46, 442 to continue this service. I told him that if they had initially told me that service would cost rs.1, 17, 995 i would have not opted this service.

                      Both of them gave false commitment that service is for life time and i can use it through. I was in a do or die situation as i had already paid rs. 71, 553. Unwillingly, i had paid another rs. 46, 442 (Payment reference id[protected]. They promised me the service for life time. Totally i have paid rs. 1, 17, 995. After that i got a welcome call, they just explained me the list of services added to me. They never mentioned anything about the service duration.

                      After the welcome call, i got a mail that the service duration is only for 6 months. I was completely broken again. The very next day i called them and asked for the explanation. No one explained on this issue. I have asked for refund due to the lack of clarity, transparency and false promises given. However, they are not refunding the amount eventhough i am not using any of their services.

                      Again, I got a call from him asking him to pay another Rs. 46, 442 to continue this service. I was completely shocked and broken. I questioned him why didn't mention this earlier and why you confirmed me that final payment is done. For that, he didn't have any answer.

                      I told him that I am NOT willing to continue this service and please help to refund my amount. He told me that they cannot refund the amount and I need to pay this Rs. 46, 442 to continue the service. I was in a do or die situation. This is like placing a pistol in our head and bribing money.

                      He then connected the call to his Manager Malviya. He also told the same that refund is not possible and I should pay Rs. 46, 442 to continue this service. I told him that if they had initially told me that service would cost Rs.1, 17, 995 I would have not opted this service.

                      Both of them gave false commitment that service is for life time and I can use it through. I was in a do or die situation as I had already paid Rs. 71, 553. Unwillingly, I had paid another Rs. 46, 442 (Payment Reference ID[protected]. They promised me the service for life time. Totally I have paid Rs. 1, 17, 995 . After that I got a welcome call, they just explained me the list of services added to me. They never mentioned anything about the service duration.

                      After the welcome call, I got a mail that the service duration is only for 6 months. I was completely broken again. The very next day I called them and asked for the explanation. No one explained on this issue. I have asked for refund due to the lack of clarity, transparency and false promises given. However, they are not refunding the amount eventhough I am not using any of their services.

                        I paid 3000 for job confirmation and now they are asking for 5050 for documents verification... Why do they cheat like this. I need my money back orelse i'll take severe action. For doing like this fraud job let them go and beg for a bug then they'll know the value of a money..                               This is reference to the amount paid against job aportunity, as per our previous conversations with executive of your shine the amount was fully refundable as per mail and was comited to refund within a day. But now refund amount is been delayed. I paid total amount of 11, 850rs. Even after for relink generation they ask for money from me of 6200rs.                                   This is so so so disappointing when you are registered on a authorised website like shine.com and it's hacked.
                                  By your careless we people loose interest and faith over these websites promising for the better of job and career.
                                  I am an experienced candidate and got a call today from shine. Come. They promised to arrange job interview by one registration which was asking only to pay 10rs. I got the process little easy so I tried as per their guidelines. Being on the call I was doing registration and it was unsuccessful every time. I told them to not to do this again as it was not getting successful but suddenly I checked my account and I see lost 8000 from my federal Bank. This is so shocking.
                                  Please help me to refund my amount. Or I ll use every step to promote this is a fake site and operated by fraudsters. I hope to get some support if it's not fake.

                                      Siddharth from shinningcareer.com saw my profile in shine and called me. He promised me to offer a job. He gave me 3 companies name - google, microsoft and delloitte and said that i could choose one of the companies and that these companies have come have vacancies for my role and that they have come forward to offer me a job. They took money from me at different levels. And said that i would get a job in 90 days. Otherwise, my money would be refunded.
                                      But now, their phone is switched off and their website is also down.

                                        I have made some payment for JOb services at Shine.Com(Shine.com is the online job portal in India. Founded in 2008). I would like to withdraw the service and get the refund back to my debit account from Shine.

                                        I consider this as a fraudulent and cheating case which was initiated by me by misleading and misguiding me without any detailed email about the service from their end and the total package cost which comprises of 3 payment steps..

                                        As per their clause, payment once made by the customer are non-refundable. I completely understand that. However, payment can also be refundable in an exceptional case like this one.

                                        As a customer, I am not satisfied with the services provided to me as committed so far. Hence, I want to withdraw the service. Where there is no trust, there cannot be any relation.

                                        Sharing below the background of the entire process and where it went wrong:

                                        1) On the 18th of October, I received a call from Shine.Com asking to take up the job search service from them with payment of approx. Rs 2359/- If I am interested to do so.
                                        * It was never mentioned over the call that this 2300 was just a registration charge and there could be other steps followed by the process to complete the entire payment procedure and to avail 100 % benefit. As a professional organisation with a brand name, it should have been informed to the customer at the first level with a detailed email about the entire payment procedure, its services and its inclusions.

                                        2) Once the payment was done by me, I received an acknowledgement email regarding the payment followed by a call from one of the executives stating that he belongs from the recruitment team and has called me to guide me on the 2nd process. I assumed the 2nd process to be uploading my resume and how to go ahead with the job search. But instead, he quickly explained to me that I am fortunate to have registered with them and they would help me to find out the best job based on my preference provided I allow them to go ahead with the background verification process with authenticated documents. I agreed to that because the conversation was just about allowing them to go ahead with the verification process.
                                        * It was not informed to me even once during the conversation that the background verification itself refers to a certain level of 2nd step payment from the customer side. I felt the executive was trying to hide the information because of the fear of cancellation of the service from my end. Again there was no detailed email from them as a professional regarding the product/services description.

                                        I felt they were trying to manipulate me and was trying to convince me with a different set of information. Very cleverly he instructed me to open an email. When I opened my mail box and was searching for an email from them, I found one with the heading Proforma Invoice. I was confused with the heading as no information was provided to me regarding any more payment then why did I receive an email with the heading Porforma Invoice ?.

                                        On questioning, he asked me to open the email.

                                        My concern is why was he not clear in his statement? Why did he not inform me about the payment over the call before asking me to open the mail box? Why was I kept unaware about the 2nd payment process until the mail was opened? Isn't the situation seems to be fishy and misleading?

                                        As a professional with such a big brand name, we do not expect such a gap in conversation while dealing with any clients professionally. I was brainwashed that they will reflect my resume for next 6 months in 35 + companies but I wouldn't have to wait for so long rather I will have 100 % placement service satisfaction within a month. He was smart enough to convince me that with a verification payment of Rs 10, 739/- he assures to help me with a job within 30 days as it never exceeded for more than 30 days for any other customers/clients.

                                        3) Well, finally I made the payment with the satisfaction that with 10, 739 + 2359 I can assure myself to have a job within a month with the services provided from shine.
                                        * It was not informed to me even once that there could be another 3rd payment step to complete the final process and to avail 100% services from them.

                                        4) Once the 2nd payment was done by me, I received an acknowledgement email regarding the payment followed by a call from another executive stating that he too belongs from the recruitment team and has called me to guide me on the 3rd followup process. I assumed the 3rd process to be uploading my resume and steps to initiate the job search method. But instead, he quickly explained to me that I am fortunate to have registered with them and they would help me to find out the best job based on my preference provided I share my LinkedIn Profile link with them and allow them to rewrite my resume with the help of professional resume writer. I thought I already made a payment of 10, 739/- and it was its followup service. But no I was wrong. I was asked to open my mail box once again to check the 3rd service email from them.

                                        To my shock, again I was sent an email with the heading Proforma Invoice with a payment link for Rs 18, 700 approx.

                                        My query is after the 1st registration charges and after reviewing my resume, Why was I not informed that it needs special attention and services to highlight the same in the market with different companies to meet my priorities and for that, I need to follow another 2 payment options provided which the services will be 100% complete for initiation?

                                        So according to me, I felt Shine was making me a fool with incomplete information and by making me do the instant payment manipulating me without prior information and intimation about the total cost of the package which suits my requirement.

                                        Hence, I consider this as a Cheating/Fraudulent case.

                                        I want my money back.
