Shine.com called for premium services on 12th June 2019. From Gurgaon office.

They charged me ₹55, 778 in 4 part payments. Next day (13th June) they called me for 5th payment of ₹41, 073 was asked which i declined since they informed me on 12th June 4th payment will be the final payment and no further will be required.

Charging above charges for job search is not logical i believe. However, being from middle class family i somehow managed to pay above amount since i was informed through mail that this is the final charges.

However, next day (13th June) i again got a call stating i need to pay another 41073 INR and their will be further charges which will be around 1.5 Lac. When i told them i have mailed stating yesterday payment amount is final, shine person told me if you don't pay this amount and what you paid yesterday will be lost.

I told them i will file police complain since this charges were not informed me when i paid initial payment and refund my money. Below are the responses from them.

1. Anuj : You can go anywhere you want and you will not be able to do anything to us. If you don't pay another 41073 INR then earlier paid amount will have no value and it will be nullified. Don't speak to me about police you wont be able to do anything to me no matter whom you know.

2. Declined to provide name and ID: You are asking my name and ID, this shows your class and what kind of family you belong to. If you cant buy Audi then you should not think about it. Learn to stay in your limit and complaint to anyone you want to.

3. Sweety and Sivapratap: Why you are thinking so much to pay, you cant even pay 1 Lac, people pay 3 to 4 Lacs to us.

Shine.com Promises made:

1. Within a week i will have job on my hand.
2. All the service Link subscribed will be activated within 2 hrs of payment done. However, next day 13th June 4.46 PM nothing is activated and they are asking to pay more to get it activated.
3. They have some understanding with the HR and only people sent by them will be hired in the big MNC's.

    I have paid 4000 premium amount for my job profile im getting only 2 mails in a week and also that is not related to my job profile, i will get the same mail without pay moneny too then why should i pay?? What satisfaction you are giving to paid customers, we are coming to you to get the job for short period of time for good packages but still no response and service team contacted me and no reply for my mails, fraud consultant and also poor customer service they need only money not our requirements, i have requested to return back my money still i didnt get any responses from them

      Sir,
      on 5th june, evening i received a call from a representative of shine.com, asking me to register in shine.com for Rs 1416/- to increase scope of job search.
      i registred by paying the amount online. i have proof of the emails correspondence,

      after 30 min, another representative Mr.Shiv pratap, called me up encouraging me to further Pay Rs 10.868/- and he said there is good opening in Ambuja cements, and they will engage a relationship manager for my job profile, and he will help get a job.
      i payed the amount online beleivinh his words.

      next day june, , morning, on 6th june the same person Mr. Shiv Pratap called up and said my profile is in process and he wanted me to further pay
      Rs 20, 659, said that they have some expenses to be borne in the process of evaluation, document verification by independednt agencies.

      this is when i awoke, and i realised they are trapping me and cheating me..
      i refused to pay any more, despite
      the person Mr.Shiv Pratap, trying to convince me by saying that, i should help myself get a job, or else my earlier payments will go a waste if i dont pay Rs 20.659/-.

      sirs, shine.com is doing cheating in the name of Recruitment services, and i request your Consumer Forum to help me, by getting my refund of my hard earned money amounts i payed Rs 1416/- + Rs 10.868/- =total Rs 12, 284/- i have proof of all correspondences.
      pls advise further.

        First time received the call from Shine employee, request apply for Registasaton i said ok and apply paid Rs.3127.00 again they ask for Rs. 6478 and again they ask for Rs.8495 and again they ask for Rs.13805
        so altogher we paid Rs.31905 shine emp. name of Rajini.

        Complaint is why begin they are not say full amount.

          I got a phone call from shine.com with no[protected] ask to me pay 1500 the later to pay 4200, I reject to pay 4200 later I'll ask to return my money of 1500.she ask to pay 3500 as per company rules not possible to return below5k.i paid 3500.later on she again ask another 5k to pay.tell same issue below 10k not possible to return.i denied to pay any more further.plz get my money back 5k.

              Today, I am updating my CV in shine.com and searching for Interior Designing part time job. suddenly i receive a call from shine.com. lady told me that you just update your CV in shine.com, are you looking for a job? i said yes, i do. then she said that we are hiring interior designer for L&T company. there are 30-45 days training program and company give me 22000/- during training period. and after joining i will get around 35000/- monthly package. After listening, I asked her what to do next?? She told me that i have to give two interview round one is telephonic and another one is face to face. I said OK fine. then she said i have to deposit 2500/- security amount for interview which is refundable and also reply to there mail with attaching my personal documents like ID proof (Pan card or Adhara card), 10th and 12th mark sheet, experience certificate and two passport size photo. I JUST WANTS TO ASK SHINE.COM THAT WHY THIS HAPPEN?? IF I UPDATE MY ALL INFORMATION IN SHINE.COM, THEN ANYONE(FAKE RECRUITER) CAN STEEL MY INFORMATION FROM THERE??? AND THEY WILL DO WITH IT WHATEVER THEN WANTS TO DO...IS IT SAFE FOR STUDENTS OR JOB-SEEKERS WHO UPDATE THERE CV AND INFORMATION IN JOB PORTALS???

              I HAVE PROOF WITH ME...IF REQUIRE I WILL SEND CALL RECORDING AUDIO CLIP AND E-MAIL COPY.

                  Myself kasani Anil kumar got a call from shine.com with number [protected].The fraud girl said that my resume have been shortlisted by a reputed company.She said to open the website shinejobsindia.com. Then she asked me to fill a registration form from the website after paying Rs 10 form FEE.But as i have paid using my debit card instead of 10 rs 6500/- have been debited from my account.Return calling to that number is being SWITCHED OFF.

                  I had paid 2500 on 4may 2019.i had received a call form shine. Com regarding job. So they told Me you have to pay 2500 as security deposit so. I. Paid the amount i also have reference number for. Payment. I want my payment back. As i dont want the job. So. Please help me with it as soon as possible..
                  I also have a complaint in shine were they asked me to pay for 1600/- and I pay for it and they told me that they are going to refund the amount if they we get the job or not...cause I was not comfortable with the amount asked me that I have to pay for 6500/- and till now they haven't refund the money.

                      On 27 May 2019 i had one call from this no [protected](chirag) saying that this call from shine.com and your resume is selected for jobs in bank as an assistance manager. But for this you have to be paid Rs 1200 for registration and 3950 for ID creation i made both transaction but after that they said me pay more 9256 for password generation but i want to quit this application. and request for cancellation and refund my amount. For refund process they told me maintain minimum balance in your account RS.10000 and i kept it but after that this amount was also deducted from my account. just not that after that 7255 and 10200 also deducted from my account. This all payments are done by www.bttonline.in My total amount is deducted Rs 32008. I already filed complaint in police station and bank also. Also note that all mail come from [protected]@gmail.com. Please do need ful on this matter as soon as posible

                      I knew it about your reply. I am not only one person who trap in this froud. We trust on your name and register with you but now questions is rise that is this safe our information with you or not. Because many of people complaint against same person and same froud but you did not take any action on this. If that person or company not belongs to you then how our details with them. How they use your name? As you say it is fake but they are using your name and cheat with us.
                      One more think I have call from shine.com for inquiry about services given by shine and they ask me about refund. If that company not belongs to you than how your team called me for redund? It means you all are team up.
                      And one more I am still receiving mail from your side. I am not interested in your offer if naxt time any mail received from your side I will file complaint against you.

                        Yesterday I got a call from shine recruiters saying that there is a vacancy in Dr.Reddy labs so that pay amount of 1500/- I paid it through phone pay later for certificates verification they asked 3650/- later for preparing offer letter they asked 18500/- rs which is refundable on joining date Nd after that there is an ol exam so that u have to pay 25500/- later for opening a bank account u they told that 30500 we paid all these later for training charge they told that 21000 last payment we did not done so they told they are cancelling my application and my money is not refunded...total amount was 79650/- plz try to refund my money, I got a call from this number-[protected],

                          I have uploaded my resume on shine.com on 3rd of June then I got a call from Miss Sapna Sharma (Employee Id-6351)that you have to pay 1925/* as a registration fee, I did that then she transferred a call to her senior Mr. Sachin (Employee id-7199)he told me that, I recommend you for L and T finance Ltd, you will receive a call from HR for telephonic round for that you have to pay 6500/* after that, he again asked me to pay 11500/* as a full and final payment and after that he again asked me to pay 18500/* as he told that it will be refundable immediate after telephonic round on 4th of June. But yet I didn't receive any payment.I lost my 37000/*, kindly help me out.I have all the recording and I also have the mails that I received from there side. If we uploaded our resume on shine.com then it's your responsibility that such type of frauds should not be happened using your name.

                              I applied for jobs in abroad at shine. I got a call from shine representative named Mr.Ranjan Kumar, he told me about the process which involved in the recruitment. I asked for a job in Canada, , , then he said my profile is greeting much better chance to get a job within a month, , then he asked me to pay 4000 Rs as a registration fee, then i paid for it, , then he asked me to pay around 7500 Rs for verification process and i paid for it, then he asked another 13 600rs for further process involved in the recruitment, , I paid for it.
                              Then he asked Rs24000 to escalate my profile further. I said that i cannot afford to pay, , since then he don't speak me properly, even he disconnect my calls while speaking. Then i asked to stop all the process and refund my amount but he said that i can only have the option to pay further 24000rs to escalate and i won't get my refund, , , , I don't know they never do anything for me, , but they said i can't get refund, , , I just made the payment because of a good reputation about Hindustan times, , , that's why i made the payment to his another concern, , while speaking with me they mention so many times Hindustan times repeatedly, , , but once they know that i am not interested anymore, , , they don't have any interest speak with me, , , how can a person pay rs 50000 in a single day to get a future service which purely unknown, , , I don't want to continue further these guys, , , I just want my refund. I just attached the photos of the proforma invoices and receipts

                                I got a call from shine.com executive this morning, they asked if i require job and i said i am not interested right now and not looking for a job as i already got one. Few minutes after i got a call from another executive and he started shouting and complaining that people like you waste our time and why did you update profile and many things more and said you have wasted aroung 8 gb of our data by registering and much more things.

                                  On dated 15.3.19 i received a call from shine's executive bearing mobile no [protected] regarding my recent job search then he asked to pay a small amount of rs 6000+ for registration process and as i was keen to pursue this i did as he asked me but later on he started demanding more money in the name of fee and at each level he assured me that the amount to be paid will be the last payment and if i am not satisfied with the service i would get all my money refunded and if i stop at any point the amount paid earlier would go waste and i would neither get the services nor will my money be refunded thereby he kind of trapped me in a loop where i was bound to pay more and more and at the end i ended up paying 1, 70, 000/-. When i asked for refund they instead asked me to give them a chance and avail there services as they don't posses any refund policies till day since then almost 2 months have already passed but i did not receive either the services nor refund. Here i want to ask if you don't posses any refunds policies how could your executives promise there customers a refund if not satisfied. I want my hard earned money back or i will approach police, media, social media and everything necessary

                                    Hi, i have been victimized in a fraud. I got a call from a lady named akash who said she is from shine.com. She told me that i was shortlisted by four companies for the interview and that i have to pay 2500 security deposit to apply for the interview. She told me that shine is not a consultancy company to whom i will to pay again and again. So, this was one time payment only. I agreed to the deal. She said a mail will come to me from the hr for the payment. She provided me a number of paytm and i paid 7500 via paytm. Then, she transferred the calltk regarding the documentation and he again told me to pay 1560p. I, then understood that this is fraudulent. I denied to the deal.

                                      I have applied for airlines job and for that i have paid the fees which was refundable but till now i have not got it yet and also agreement cheque also they are not receving the calls their customer care center was not responding to any calls.I am waiting for my money since last two months and till now also i have not received my cheque and my processing fees.

                                        As per their executive they had told regarding the payment and after payment details will be provided. Payment was done on 29th may but till today i have not received any mail or any communication from shine.com. I trying several calls and email also but no one is responding and picking phone and no guidance for further procedures after payment done.
