I hope my message finds you and family in best of health. I am writing this note to you with pain and disappointment that i went through while interfacing with your team. The whole experience was in a bad taste and left me dejected.

Initial call:

I will start from the beginning. I got a call from one of your association asking about my account on shine.com and pushing for a paid subscription. The guy pursuaded me into taking up the paid subscription by promising a lot of things such a dedicated relationship manager, finding jobs on my behalf and what not. He sounded as geniune as one can be. I took the subscription after a lot of follow up by him and i thought that it was a right decision. I paid rs 3047 for it. He mentioned there are no additional / hidden charges after this and assured me that the relationship manager will connect with me who will help me in finding better opportunities. I was happy that my woes will wrap up fast now

Expert team:

Anup from expert team called and after a few vague questions he said he has done the due deligence and mentioned to proceed there are additonal steps to be followed which involves additional expenses. When i asked him about the total extra expenses he said it's for a psychometric test and other services and asked me to pay another rs 8377, telling me that without it he will not be able to help me. At this point in time i asked that i hope this is the last payment to which he responded positively and i made the payment as i wanted to get over with it. Once i paid the amount and i thought may be this is the end, however to my surprise he sent another profarma invoice of rs 13097 telling me that i have to co-operate else everything done till now will not yield desired results pressuring me to pay and how it is going to be life changing. I lost trust on your team and my patience gave up when he again asked for this payment to which i refused initially. After a 40 minute discussion with his manager who again promised a lot of stuff, i finally agreed to pay the amount.

Since your team member did everything with the speed of lightning, i could not notice the kind of #t subscription services he has charged me for and i was utterly disappointed after seeing what i have sold. All in all rs 25, 000 for resume writing and profile highlighting plus some stupid courses which are of no use to me and some bgv. I was trembling with the disappointment and loss that i suffered due to coercive action of your team member.

Worst part:

Your expert team has promised that the team will commence it's work by gathering all my statements via telephonic calls, online interviews and converting them into the output for the services i've availed. Not a executive has called me to initiate the services as promised. Good thing is that i record every call that comes to me and should you need to hear it yourself, i can send it across. I am of the notion that many times the leadership is unknown of the tactics ground teams play hence i write to you in good faith hoping that you will help me out here with the refunds as i no more have confidence on shine.com and probably will do better of my own in job search. I have not availed a single paid service hence it should not be difficult.

Hi Team,

My Concern has not been resolved. I've again been asked to pay additional amount of 20K and some more unaccounted services so that the services can be started. This is in direct contradiction of the agreement.

I've already raised this on Welcome Call and then on the subsequent calls I've got. I was told that your executives will speak to their higher authorities and come back to me. However I've not received a response yet from anyone. So it would be great if you can speak with the team and give me a call.

Until then this Issue remains unresolved.
