Shopaaz.com — Order cancelled but no refund received | |||||
Dear team, We had ordered a redmi note 4 from the captioned website www.shopaaz.com on the 3rd of may 2017 worth rs 12499/- and made a card payment via hdfc bank (Order id: #100854). (Please refer to the attachment for more details of the purchase) As we waited for the arrival of our phone, we got an apology mail from the website on 12th may informing us that order had been cancelled and that our amount would be credited in our account within 7 working days. (I am attaching a copy of the apology mail for your reference) As per the website, it states that the money has been refunded on the 12th may, however, we had not received any refund. We decided to wait a few more days, as it is written on their company website that it may take more than 7 working days in certain cases for the money to reflect in your account. Meanwhile, we kept checking with our bank. Not getting any positive response, we finally decided to call the shopaaz - customer care number given on their website but realized that the number is bogus and does not connect. We desperately tried contacting them and even wrote an email to them about the same but again, we didnot get any response. Its been more than a month now and there has been no action taken. We feel we have lost our money and have been cheated by the website using fake promises. We also realized recently, that there are many complaints raised against shopaaz in various customer forums. We request you to kindly investigate this matter and help us get a refund at the earliest and take strict action against such fraud websites to prevent them from cheating more innocent customers of their hard earned money.
