Dear Team,
Thank you for your message. I note your update that the seller will not provide compensation — however this grievance is not about a product or seller liability. This is a Flipkart operational / data protection failure: my personal contact number was obtained and misused outside Flipkart’s official system by a delivery executive, resulting in repeated offensive and intimidating calls. That is a breach of Flipkart’s duty to protect customer data and supervise its logistics partners.
Therefore, the question of compensation does not rest with the seller. It is Flipkart’s responsibility to address this breach, take corrective action, and provide appropriate redress to the affected customer.
Accordingly, I request that you:
1. Re-open my complaint immediately (Order OD[protected], AWB FMPP[protected]).
2. Escalate this matter to the Compensation / Grievance Redressal Team and the Data Protection/Privacy Officer — this cannot be handled as a routine seller response.
3. Provide a written explanation of how my personal number was accessed outside Flipkart’s systems and what specific corrective and preventive actions have been taken.
4. Confirm whether Flipkart accepts responsibility for this data breach and state the form and quantum of compensation you are prepared to offer. I have earlier requested ₹1, 00, 000 in compensation for the privacy breach, harassment, and mental trauma — please respond to that claim.
5. Note my availability for contact: +91 [your number] — I am reachable between [your preferred hours]. If you attempted to call, please confirm the number you dialed.
I do not accept the case being closed while the core issue — misuse of my data and threats from a delivery executive — remains unresolved. If I do not receive a substantive written response from Flipkart’s Compensation/Grievance team within 7 working days, I will have no option but to escalate this matter to the Consumer Forum / Cyber Crime Cell / Police with the evidence already submitted.
Please treat this as an urgent escalation and confirm re-opening and escalation in writing.
