ShopClues — No Respect For the Customer | |||
I ordered a product on the 24th of November from www.shopclues.com. I started getting worried when two days passed and I received no notification of shipping. Now I have purchased items from other online shops like Flipkart and eBay too (which don't make tall claims like Shopclues) and orders are shipped by the second day. I called up their customer service, and they told me not to worry, it would be shipped in '24-48 hours'. Anyway, 4 WHOLE DAYS (i.e 28th of November) after I had ordered, it was shipped. I was given a tracking number of Bluedart. On trying to track the shipment on the Bluedart website, the tracking number was shown as wrong. I called up the Shopclues customer service again, and was given the same reply - '24-48 hours' for the tracking number to be 'activated'. I don't know what they take us to be, because this is the first time I'm hearing such a ridiculous claim - that a tracking number needs 24-48 hours to be activated. I decided to give in anyway, and waited 48 hours more. Of course, this wait was useless. It was the 30th of November, and the tracking number still untraceable. When I called Shopclues (again), they gave the reply - Sir, please wait for 24-48 hours. Our logistics team will contact Bluedart. I don't know which form of 'contact' takes 24-48 hours. So I called them up the next day, because I expected that a call will be done with in 24 hours. But no, the customer service agent rudely tells me that my complaint has been 'escalated' and to wait the whole 48 hours. Well, I waited again. On the 2nd of December, I called them AGAIN, now eager to see what excuse they put forward. Not too difficult to guess - please wait 24-48 hours. But this time the response was slightly different, you will receive your product in 24-48 hours. No mention of the tracking number. This 24-48 hour business was driving me crazy, so I asked to speak to a senior. I was told that the senior was in a meeting, and not to worry, my product would reach in 24-48 hours. It seems that the first thing this wretched company teaches their customer service agents is - whatever the problem, mention that it will take 24-48 hours to resolve. I don't care if my product reaches in whatever time, I want to be compensated for being lied to and having my intelligence insulted. This damned company obviously doesn't care about their customers and thinks that we are with no previous online shopping experience. Was this information helpful? | |||
