[Resolved] Siemens Home India — Poor installation and service | |||
I purchased a Siemens full automatic washing machine IQ100 in May 2012. during installation it was never instructed by the Siemens executives to use any stabilizer. But two months back ie Oct 2014 (just after 2yr warranty) it stopped working. Registered a complaint with Siemens and service executive showed up had an check and found the main module is not working. On enquiry the only reason was voltage fluctuation. And now they are recommending to use a stabilizer and he charged 800 Rs just for inspection. And never heard from the service centre guys. After repeated follow up, another service agent showed up yesterday(13-Dec-2014) with a new module worth 10, 000 Rs. So in total 10, 000+800 = 10, 800Rs which I need to bear due to lack of experience of the Siemens installation expert. I did reach out to the senior service guy and informed I dont want to have a replacement worth 10k, would rather go with a new automatic washing machine. Not sure how they gonna respond. I dont have much trust in Siemens products now specially the after sales services.
