We are having a bad experience with simplilearn. Its been going on since feb 2022. My wife was looking to get AWS certification and upon reviewing different options online, we agreed to take some trial classes from simplilearn as they offer free cancellation within 7 days period. My wife was frequently in touch with their customer support member (Aakash pradhan) through email and phone. He made sure that if she doesn’t like the class then she can cancel it within 7 days. So on 23 Feb 2022, my wife registered on their website for the course and gave the card details. She attended the first class on 26th Feb and it was awful. The teacher was not professional and teaching stuff from the middle of the course. So my wife didn’t like it and decidedly to cancel the course. On the very next morning ie 27 Feb, she called the customer support Aakash Pradhan to cancel the course and not to proceed further. Aakash confirmed over the call that he has raised a ticket for cancellation. Later after few days, on 2nd March my wife was still getting emails and messages to join the class and continue with the course, for which my wife talked to the Aakash as well as another customer support member and told them that she doesn’t want to pursue and not to deduct any kind of payment. Also she told them that ticket was already raised. After that she did not open or use the services of the account and did not get any emails from them.
Now 4th April was the first instalment due date and she got a call from the bank that she hasn’t paid the payment for the course yet. She called the simplilearn team and Aakash pradhan right away and asked them about it but she did not get any response.
I am requesting simplilearn team to resolve this issue and generate the refund as soon as possible.
