Singapore Airlines — Baggage damaged and no refund provided

I traveled in singapore airlines from sydney to bangalore in business class. I have paid huge costs for tickets and i was also charged very high luggage charges (Australian dollars 550 for 10kgs).

When i received the luggage it bangalore, it was damaged. The airlines refusing to pay compensation.

I showed the damages to the airport authorities before collecting my baggage and they assured that the bangalore luggage department will contact me, but no one reached to me so far and my follow-ups with emails have been responded with cold not helpful replies. The airlines is responsible for safe baggage handling and in this case after charging much more than what is due for the luggage, they have damaged it on top of it. They should provide compensation for the damages and also for the trauma of going through the un-helpful feedback and follow-up process with singapore airlines.

I kindly request the consumer court to look into the case and get my justice. I am happy to furnish all details as needed once the case is looked into. Thanks.

you complaint looks very doubt ful.
Singapore airlines is a top rated airlines in the world and handles baggage very well. Also, Every airlines have a representative to take complains for baggage and assess and take necessary action to restore / Pay if they cant repair. All this will be done for free.

Looks like you have not complained to any Singapore airlines authorities.

Once i had my baggage damaged in handling by jetairways ( Delhi -> bangalore). They fully repaied it for free and picked up and delivered to my home.

No court will look into until you formally lodge a complaint with proper evidences.
I flew from Hongkong to new delhi on 7th dec. 2019 Singapore airline sq 402. and i received my baggage with broken wheel my luggage was brand new. I reported to agent they said they gonna send the mechanical to repair or will give me 1000. They didn't even give me money nor no contact information 😡. This is very unacceptable.
