There are serious issues with the business class of a350 of Singapore airlines
The main issue is
There is a metal hook on all the seats which can cut/scratch your leg badly. I haven't got any sleep as had hurt from it.
Now on checking found that metal Hook in every seat and on deep diving came to know it's in all a350 singapore airlines. Its life vest.but who ties it with metal Hook.
I have been to all major airlines in the world and this is my first experience.
This problem might have been reported by many but why no serious action is taken as this could lead in bad injuries
Have it's video and matter communicated with flight supervisor too as I am not satisfied with this.
Coming to other issues
The seat. It's not at all comfortable and have no softness while sleeping. It seems we are sleeping on floor. It's that hard. Nor the width is satisfactory. It's 2 to 3 inches bigger than economy and doesn't make any sense.
The touch control of seats and TouchPad is kept in such a way that when a person is sleeping it's sure to get touched and gets disturbed.
When asked for amenities i was provides with 3 things that too loose without any amenity bag. Socks, Footwear and eye mask. That you call amenities team??
Read your pamphlets of amenities.
At time of supper I was told the appetizer had eggs so I denied than to my surprise my wife and child was served same appetizer which I was told to have eggs and that made us to skip the supper itself. Now how did this blunder happened when the clear request was vegetarian meal.
It took me 2 hours to get internet to send this email.
This all things have made me feel it was my money that I wasted on business class and will be raising a complaint.
Had return flight too which had same issue with one more issue that in my daughter in there application it was showing non vegetarian food item though I clearly selected child vegetarian meal. HIGHLY DISSATISFIED

Lost Baggage and No Respnse from Airline for 50 days
My mother who is 75 years of age and a senior citizen was travelling from Mumbai to JFK via transit in Singapore in Business Class on Singapore Airlines on 18th October, 2022. On landing in JFK on 19th October, 2022 she waited for her bags to arrive but only one bag arrived out of the two she had checked in. This was informed to the SQ staff at JFK Airport and they assured her delivery of her bag in a day or two. We have been following up vigorously and regularly with SQ and also emailing them but till date which is now over 50 days there is no information from them nor are they replying diligently to our mails or calls. My mother has a heart condition and all her prescription medication was in that bag along with many of her clothes, accessories and food items. The JFK lost and found office keeps on informing us that the bag has been found and it will be delivered but it's now 50 days and till date there is no sight of the bag. We call the SQ office and they inform us that they are yet trying to locate the bag. So two departments are giving conflicting information. We have really got frustrated in following up as we are not getting any correct picture nor any proper service from SQ. We are shocked at their complete callous attitude in the matter as firstly my mother is a senior citizen and requires her medication urgently and also there is no news from SQ public affairs even though we have written to them several time. We request your good offices to kindly look into this matter urgently for us and help us out in the matter.

The web site crashed while booking a ticket from Mumbai to Sydney for 8th -July for my parents on[protected]. The payment for amount INR 89, 082 /- debited from my amount and no ticket was generated. Upon calling singapore airline customer care they said the payment
will automatically be refunded in 10 business days. Till today there is no refund and airlines is not able to provided correct information or feedback about this issue. I have calling up the payment aggregator team "Bill Desk" and they have confirmed that the payment was successfully debited from my ICICI bank account and successfully credited to Singapore airlines account on[protected] and also provided the transaction reference number. The singapore airlines customer care
is not well equipped or have access to look up the payment details in the system and hence unable to provide accurate feedback to my issue.
It is a fraud on part on Singapore airline to not issue the ticket even after receiving the payment successfully (confirmed by the payment aggregator Bill Desk). More over I am in loss as if have to book another ticket and I don't have the required funds and ticket prices are increasing. Singapore airlines will have to bare the cost of the losses that i incurred due to this.
Filed booking reference number #6Q7IUM, Bill desk provided the payment reference number screen shot attached.

An amount of Rs.59430/- has been debited on 28.3.2022 from my Canara Bank account No.[protected] towards online booking ticket from Bangalore to Sydney departure on 30th May 2022 at Singair Billdesk. However, booking has failed and amount has not been credited back....

mishandling of luggage
I travelled from guangzhou to singapore on singapore airlines sq851 (Airbus a330-300) economy class on saturday 03 nov 2018 and from singapore to delhi on singapore airline sq402 economy class on sunday 04 nov 2018.
I was carrying the luggage weighing 50 kgs out of which 30 kgs was allowed with ticket and i payed 2400 rmb for extra baggage at the baiyun intl terminal 2.
Out of those extra baggage one bag was mishandled and from it, a product costing 500 rmb was missing weight of which was 3 kgs. So in total i lost 860 rmb (500 rmb cost of product and 360 rmb which i paid for extra weight for the particular product (120 rmb per kgs x 3 kgs).

In our business class travel the seats provided to us were broken and recliners were not working. My pregnant wife had a lot of problem getting up and getting every time. There was no food served to us in flight even when we requested the food to be served to us during the end of the flight. We tried resolving the issue with the airlines but with no success.

I traveled in singapore airlines from sydney to bangalore in business class. I have paid huge costs for tickets and i was also charged very high luggage charges (Australian dollars 550 for 10kgs).
When i received the luggage it bangalore, it was damaged. The airlines refusing to pay compensation.
I showed the damages to the airport authorities before collecting my baggage and they assured that the bangalore luggage department will contact me, but no one reached to me so far and my follow-ups with emails have been responded with cold not helpful replies. The airlines is responsible for safe baggage handling and in this case after charging much more than what is due for the luggage, they have damaged it on top of it. They should provide compensation for the damages and also for the trauma of going through the un-helpful feedback and follow-up process with singapore airlines.
I kindly request the consumer court to look into the case and get my justice. I am happy to furnish all details as needed once the case is looked into. Thanks.

I flew from Hongkong to new delhi on 7th dec. 2019 Singapore airline sq 402. and i received my baggage with broken wheel my luggage was brand new. I reported to agent they said they gonna send the mechanical to repair or will give me 1000. They didn't even give me money nor no contact information 😡. This is very unacceptable.

Theft of valuable
A sense/doubt of my luggage been in abit doubtful condition but didn't took the matter seriously Bcz it was 3 am at night when I arrived and so left for home
After opening the luggage in the morning I found the case of missing watch worth 5digit
The box is opened/torn the watch is missing but I have the bill and guarantee/warranty card for the same.

Complaint marked as Resolved I haven't received any response from their side nor are they giving proper response on calls.its a case of theft were 100's of people would be thuged but only few complaint on the same.but I find this very bad that been international airport and the standards are such of theft..really a v poor condition.

When I received my luggage at the Mumbai airport I got a sense/doubt of my luggage been in abit doubtful condition but didn't took the matter seriously Bcz it was 3 am at night when I arrived and so left for home

The box is opened/torn the watch is missing but I have the bill and guarantee/warranty card for the same.

Baggage misplaced on a business trip

I was visiting Manila (Philippines) travel date 29th of August 2015.
Upon the arrival in Manila. My baggage was misplaced by the Singapore airlines. Singapore airlines had no Idea where they have misplaced/lost my baggage. I had to go through a lot of issues. As It was a business trip.
1. I had my office important things which were required for my meeting.
2. I just had one baggage which had all my things. (office documents, all personal belongings including My ID, CC, DC & also some money etc...)
It was a more than 3 days that my baggage went missing & it was delivered after my Business meet got over just in the evening of 2nd Sep'15.
My LOSS
1. Inconvenience & Very bad experience :
I had to live on the same clothes which I was wearing while I travelled for the next 2 days.--- (assuming my baggage will be delivered which the airlines people kept saying). After which I had no choice but to borrow money and buy clothes for the meeting & office. ---- Mentally Disturbed & Personal insult
I had a lot of expenses because of the baggage not delivered by you. Expenses which I do not even have the bill eg:- travelling expenses to the mall etc & I had to buy a winter wear Jacket for the weather conditions) --- Costing more than 10, 000 INR.
As this is my business trip to Manila. I had gone thru an extreme stressful time and days due to the delay by the Singapore airlines. ---.
Due to this inconvenience, My Visit to Philippines has been a very bad experience and a great trouble attending my Business Meeting.
Please adjudge.

Dear sir,
i had traveled from ahmedabad to adelaide (australia) in singapore airlines. as per committment, when i booked the tickets in singapore airlines, i have informed booking clerks for special services lsuch as : help throghout journey for NON ENGLISH SPEAKING CUSTOMERS, TOUR FOR SINGAPORE CITY, REQUEST FOR SPECIAL SEATS.
As per committment the clearks while i booked the tickets, i had not received any kind of services from the airlines.
when i was returned abd informed to city office of ahmedabad, they replied you are late at the airport for check in. so we are unable to give seats as per your request. actully as per law for check in at the airport for international journey i was reached before more than two hours for check in.
More over, i was not getting the services for non english speaking customers from the airport of ahmedabad to adelaide, i was not joined at the city tour of singapore and the staff of singapore airlines and changi international airport harressed at the singapore airport.
I was surprised, when i saw this behave in international journey with international passenger.
i want to fight with the singapore airlines and changi international airport.please give me a guidenace.

Stolen items from hand baggage
My mother travelled by Singapore airlines o. When she was boarding the plane from Singapore to India a staff from the Singapore airlines took her hand luggage and asked her to collect it when she reaches India. When she reached India she collected the hand luggage and found that the posters she hand carried was lost. After she reached home she found that in her hand luggage the lock was broken and many things were stolen. the things that were stolen were: 3 coral necklaces, a seiko watch worth Rs.6000, some indian money and $400 singapore dollars in cash which she had kept in a purse.
This is a disaster and she has been extremely angry. It has made everyone in the family angry and never want to travel in sinagpore airlines ever again after such an experience.Sinagpore airlines has a brand name and thats why she even travelled by that airlines but such cheap behaviour by the staff in charge is a shame. It was solely the responsibility of the airline people because they took her hand baggage in singapore and it was their duty to make sure it reached chennai safely but with the lock broken and things stolen it is entirely the airline's fault.
They are not replying to e-mails to giver a refund and we don't know what to do to resolve this situation. It is a terrible experience and we will never travel by this airline again.

Singapore Airlines — lost baggage
I Inderjt Kaur, living in New Zealand came to India on 08/10/08. I boarded my flight of Singapore Airlines from Auckland to Singapore.From Singapore to Amritsar I boarded new flight of singapore airlines number SQ446. I arrived at Amritsar on 08/10/08 at 09:10 p.m.There i came to know that one of my baggage with tag No. SQ36889 is lost.Immediately I lodged my complaint at counter. Till date I have not got any response from airline.Also phone number given by company is not responding.I have called so many times.Kindly help me in this matter. Helpful

Baggage lock broken and theft of precious items

Singapore Airlines has harressed and cheated myself. My baggage lock was broken and precious Items like Camers, Mobile & others were stolen. I complained for the same immediately but their customer agents supported myself saying they shall take care of my losses and ensured that I don't file the FIR against them.
After 2 weeks, their representative calls me and tells that your claim gets rejected keeping in mind IATA rules and they shall reimburse based on missed baggage weight i.e. 3 KG @ $20. I was completely shocked to hear out of them since those persons has misguided me. I could have leave my baggage at the counter and asked for FIR first then they would have settle my claims.
I travelled first time by Singapore airlines but no where I was asked to declare my accessories. I am completely helpless since they have already taken my luggage receipt, my boarding passes & other bills.
I request Indian Consumers to kindly taken immediate & strict action against Singapore Airlines since they have left their customer in dark.Please refer below e-mail for further details

Whatever love, affection & joy, I purchased for my wife; 1.5 years old daughter & other family members and my precious accessories had been stolen. For you, it would only be a small Irregularity but it had hurt me a lot and really I don’t have words to explain further……..
I request Singapore Airlines to strictly look into the same and search for my precious Items (As per declaration) within 3 days. I have not filled the FIR based on your words & support only. Luggage — my suitcase theft

My father-in-law ,70 years old, was about to travel by mumbai mail at 10:30 PM from chennai central to manthralayam road yesterday(12/08/2010). He was waiting for the train to come. A man aged 45 years(approx), posing as a co-passenger approached him to cofirm about the platform. As the train arrived at the platform, he offered help to board the train. Suddenly he vanished with the bag of my father-in-law. Debit cards of ICICI bank, and SBI were kept inside the bag. A hearing aid costing 15000/- was also there. I was travelling from Lalkuan to Lucknow by Nainital Express in coach no.S3 on 17/4/11 .My suitcase which is of grey colour of Valice(company) was stolen in between Pantnagar and Pilibhit around 10-12 pm.Suitcase contains clothes and some cash.please register my complaint and do the needful.My contact no. is 2328689,[protected].ADDRESS- B-1/2 Sector D Aliganj,Lucknow,UP. Singapore airlines is a top rated airlines in the world and handles baggage very well. Also, Every airlines have a representative to take complains for baggage and assess and take necessary action to restore / Pay if they cant repair. All this will be done for free.
Looks like you have not complained to any Singapore airlines authorities.
Once i had my baggage damaged in handling by jetairways ( Delhi -> bangalore). They fully repaied it for free and picked up and delivered to my home.
No court will look into until you formally lodge a complaint with proper evidences.
