My father was admitted to the hospital on[protected] under cashless policy. To enable cashless policy, we asked tpa to initiate the process and guidance for the same but unfortunately no help or support was provided from tpa. Rather tpa was not even talking in a polite manner. She was shouting and talking as we if we her begging for something. Yesterday[protected], my father was to be discharged.in morning after conducting all the test, dr piyush ranjan ensure that patient can be discharged. But hospital did not initiate the process untill 6 in the evening saying that they did not received any confirmation from the doctor. At around 4 in the evening doctor confirmed them. After that as well, it took them two hours to initiate the process. Now when it comes for cashless claim, mediassist ask for some more documents from the hospital but there is again no response from the hospital. At the end of the day by around 10:30, we have to discharge our patient by paying the whole Amount of fee. If this is how cashless facility works then why it is considered as Cashless. It want to know the reason for such delay. Why doctor and hospital staff did not communicated and confirmed for the discharge. When hospital delay entire process for doctor approval, dr piyush ranjan sign off saying that it is discharge on patient request. What is the role of tpa : to provide support for claims or to be little humble or to be so arrogant, irresponsible and mean. Was this information helpful? | |||

Gangaram Hospital might be one of the top brand hospitals in Delhi...but it is perhaps the most poorly managed healthcare institution that I have visited till date...doctors are no doubt good...but pathetic patient management in terms of administrative assistance...highly disappointed !!!
