[Resolved]  Sk Services — Fraud agency - maid placement

I had the same experience. Big time cheaters!

I had visited S K Maid Services Agencies, Balkampet to enquire on a full time maid, Hindi speaking. My requirement is household work and taking care of 2 kids. They seemed to be promising. Asked me to pay 1 years’ service charge of Rs 14000 upfront. From previous experience, I felt it’s too high but they are not willing to reduce. Would appreciate your feedback on this agency if you have availed their services. Please share if you came across any issues with them? Do they keep their word? Thanks

Horrible agency. Pathetic service. I paid 14, 000 rupees for an year’s contract. They provided a maid who was supposed to take care of my daughter, and in turn she sent my 7 year old daughter to a shop to buy household stuff. She used to watch TV the whole day and kept my house so messy. She dint know cooking, or any other household as claimed by the agency people. Was very rebellious if I’ll try to correct her about something, and then she finally left after stealing some money from my house. I still wanted to give a second chance to the agency people and asked them to provide a replacement and they kept telling me that they are searching for someone, however and insider told me that they have maids but (I don’t know for what reasons) they are not providing the maid to me but are servicing new clients. I finally asked them to refund my money and even for that they are telling it’ll take a month. I wonder why!! It’s been over a month and I still haven’t got my refund back. They are ridiculous and very unprofessional please don’t take services if this agency and you will be spared of the nightmare. Anyone wants further details can respond to this feedback I still have all the details of that maid with me so that u are not fooled by them again.

Same worst experience here. We were looking for a maid to take care of the aged person at home. They charged 15000 rupees and the maid quit after couple of months. When asked SK services for replacement, they just kept postponing for more than a month. Eventually, I demanded refund of the money, they have been very rude and then they stopped responding to the calls. Highly unprofessional people and they just loot money from the customers. Will never recommend this agency to anyone

Same worst experienced here. We were looking for household work and taking care of kids. I gave 12k. But dey send me maid from very far places. And dey were not able to come. So 6 months after calling dem n requesting dem was hectic. At d end I left. Becoz my due date was near by. So plz don't trust dem .

SK Service is a real fraud company. They have charges Rs 12, 500 to provide the maid but no response from them. When I asked them refund, they have no answer.

Till now there is no response from SK service . They have simply said that they will try to refund in 1-month. My money is stuck there. Mr Prasad from SK Services is not taking any responsibility and simply saying they will refund the money whenever they have, No maid was provided. Only false promises they have made.

Ms Aliya from SK services called me on 19th Nov at around 5:26 pm, I was thinking that she called me to provide the maid service but to my shock, she was threatening me that she will make sure that no agency will provide me a maid. She also said that if I want my money back, I have to visit their office and remove my comments from consumer complaint forum and she will immediately return my money. However, her shouting was continued till end . After my repetitive question also she has not confirmed the date of refund. in the end she said, they will manage consumer complaints people and will not refund the money. She has called me to record the conversation and show it to the department. I am not sure how this company can use the details which they have and it can be quite threatening if they could reach to the level of personal harm.

They have sent a mail that they will refund the amount with 30 days but there is no response after that:

There is no response till now from SK services regarding refund of money. They don't bother for any thing. They just want to make 1-time money.

SK Maid Services Located at Balkampet is the most unreliable maid providing agency with Zero sense of commitment. Over and over I have requested them either to provide a maid or refund my money Rs.15000/-
They have stopped taking my calls. Kindly help.

I have been a victim of the same fraud. Were you able to file an FIR?
I too want to file an FIR but not sure how useful is that going to be .
For me, the company that cheated me is Royal Enterprises, but reading all the complaints here looks like they started new company with royal enterprises name and continue with the same frauds.
Previously with SK services.
