DO NOT BUY ANY MATTRESS FROM SLEEPWELL.THEY ARE RIPPING US OFF & CHARGING MORE MONEY THAN MRP.
This is with reference to Duet Luxury mattress purchased from Hare Krishna Sleepwell showroom located in DT City Centre gurgaon on 5th Sep/11
We purchased Duet Luxury mattress 71x79(6 inches) at a price of Rs 29900.But to my utter surprise when mattress was delivered to us is was carrying printed price of Rs 27220(MRP).
This is ethically wrong & against the business principles of charging more than the printed MRP on the mattress.
We are overcharged by Rs 2680.THIS IS PURE CHEATING.
Chk the details below in which I hv registered my complaint on 8th Sep/11.Their rep Alakh Niranjan was negotiating on compensation.He offered me Rs900 which was totally unethical.
Now they are not responding on phones/mails inspite of my repeated reminders.
Chk my mail trail with them which clearly shows that Sleepwell is cheating customers.

BOTTOM LINE DO NOT BUY FR THEM & ENSURE THAT THEY ARE NOT RIPPING YOU OFF

This is further to my conversation with Alakh.
Kindly note that I was offered Rs 900 against the difference in printed MRP on mattress & money charged.This is totally unacceptable.We do understand that your dealers offer discount on MRP.One of the Sleepwell dealers in Kirti Nagar was offering me less than Rs 24000 for the same mattress after all discounts applicable.(same Sleepwell duet luxury 71x79 & 6inches).
I’m really been cheated after paying Rs29900 for a mattress which was less than Rs 24000.
Ethically as a company you should be refunding anything charged above Rs 24000.
I’m not even asking for any discounted price but would request Sleepwell to honour MRP printed on mattress & refund the balance.This is taking too much of our time for such a small thing.This should have been honoured in the very first go after verifying details at your end. Namit Chauhan

We recently bought a new house and bought 2 sleepwell mattresses from Anand Foam Company Gurgaon thinking that the brand is very superior. The dealer also convinced us that it is a good buy.

However, since the day it was delivered, we were not at all happy with the product as it was bit too soft. I have a four month old baby and his sleep gets disturbed everytime we even turn side on the bed.

More so my husband has developed an acute back pain.

I have been requesting the dealer to kindly change it.. I am even willing to pay any extra money of required. Also spoke to Mr. Alakhniranjan who is the area manager.. But even his service attitude (or the lack of it!) is so pathetic that he never answers the calls and has been making false promises.

Need someone's help URGENTLY.. We are suffering a lot.

I have purchased SLEEPWELL Harmoney Mttress for an amount of Rs 25000/- in April , i am getting severe back pain since i am using the mattress , not only me my doughter aged at 7 years also getting back pain, when i contacted vender he is telling that the technician will come and see the problem, but so far no person has come,
can i go for consumer forum court to get the problem solved.
and what are the required things to go to consumer forum court.

I have ordered a Queen size 5x6'5 Sleepwell Matters with a specific color Just a week back with Ideal Matters in Marathahalli, Bangalore. The dealer promised me to deliver the bed in two days. After two days the dealer sends a bed with different color which was not my interest.
He asked me to keep the bed for two days and he promised me to replace with the color of my interest.
After two days, i have received another matters with the color of my interest. After Keen observation i found that the stitches of the bed got broken at some places and the bed looks like a old stock. When compliant about this again he again asking me to wait for couple of more days to give the new bed.
It almost two weeks, same thing repeating. Can I file a case against this. The bed cost is 13k.

i visited ur dealer GAGAN HANDLOOM sector 11 panchkula to buy mattresses,one of his salesman visited our house for size of mattresses,after taking the size from his own scale ,the represntative took advance of RS 1000/ - he promised to deliver the same but i recieved small size of mattresses which i mentioned while recieving. Till date dealer visited us 6 times [late night] with same small size ,different colour mattresses.Today he came with 4 of his associates to pick forcefully mattresses.Me and my family is very much disturbed.Please supply me accurate size of mattresses at the earliest otherwise i have left with no other option but to knock the door of the court to get justice...........sunit [[protected]]

I have been using Sleepwell Mattresses for long time now and I can confirm that they use poor quality material and do not have a great after sales service. My problems started 3 years back when I decide to Buy Sleepwell alpha deluxe coir mattress. The mattress sagged in 3 months and I had to call sleepwell at least 100 times to get a replacement. I was lucky to get replacement but my problem didn't stop and the new one sagged again after 3 months. This time it was harder and took me 100s of calls and faxes to sleepwell but I got the replacement. I was frustrated enough and by this time the warranty had ended. The new one didnt last longer and after 6 months I decided to buy a new one. After some research I again decided to buy a sleepwell product ( Zenith) which is supposed to be a premium product and costs a bomb. This one sagged again after 6 months and I had to do everything to get a replacement which took 4 months and the new one arrived just yesterday and is still in sealed condition. I am sure that it will sag again in few months and now i want to get rid of it.

Speepwell / Sheea foam is a cheat company. I am a lucky one to get replacements so many times but over the years they have not done anything to improve quality. Be aware.

I am Roshan kumre from dist. Mandla (m.p.). I have purchased pair of sleepwell Omega mettres from Bansal emporiuam mandla for 3 months before from dealer. 15 days latter it We are getting back pain by using this bed.Sleepwell omega brand it got damaged in 10-15 days. i have given the complain to the thoro dealar to commpny lets see how soon he resolve the issue. If not i will also submit my issue with comsumer court.

I bought a sleepwell mattress which costed me Rs14900 from HAPPY HOUSE, OPP MAHAVIR GARDENS ,KOLHAPUR, MAHARASHTRA.the mattress is supposed to give support to the back,but it is as hard as ever.My complaints are
a)When the mattress was brought home there was no name tag on the mattress so we dont know if it is genuinely SLEEPWELL'S . The dealer convinced me that there was no need to stamp the guarantee card as every thing is computerised.
b) We called your call centre ,they told they would send your representative,he hasn't turned up till today.We are in the Army and will be leaving this station in a fortnight.

We have purchased one form bed at Vijayawada dealer. With in 7 days time it was damaged and we made a complaint at dealer point. After several remainders company people visited our house to check the bed and they have given feed back that the bed is damaged and they will arrange the new bed with in 7 days time. Even after 45 days of complaint there is no response from them. We are getting back pain by using this bed.

I have sent a complaint directly and the compalint No is 3459 dt: 8/10/10 and there is no response til date.

I have logged a complaint regarding my Alpha DLX mattress bought by RAJ LAXMI FURNISHING, TEGHORIA, OPPOSITE HALDIRAM, KAJI NAJRUR ISLAM SARANI, VIP ROAD dated 13/11/2009.

I have complained regarding the mattress problem of open the Stitching from joint at one side.

I also called to Sleepwell Customer Care she told me that some will visit my home after that I called to Mr. Abhjit Chakrabarty they told me on Saturday (11/09/2010) somebody will go service. Mr. Abhijit Chakrabarty confirmed me on Friday (10/09/2010) evening that by tomorrow one person will go to your house. Again called to Mr. Abhijit Chakrabarty on Saturday morning he confirmed my address and told me by today somebody will go to your house. I waited till evening but nobody came to my house from sleep well again about 4:30PM I called to Mr. Abhijit Chakrabarty he again told me due to id the person is on leave so he will go by Monday (13/09/2010).
But I didn’t receive any call on Monday. Again called to Mr. Debdoot Roy he told me “aapne company ko khareed nahi liya hai ek mattress kareed kar aap jaise bahut saare coustomer aate hain”.
I have wasted lot of time and money in calling. I want to clarification now why Mr. Debdoot Roy told me like that? Why Mr. Abhijit Chakrabarty is not giving proper information to me?
I want to clarification?

I bought GALAXY (75*60*5'') from IDEAL MATTRESS [Marathalli ,Bangalore] on 23rd Aug'10.After delivery,I found mattress to be defective [multiple cut from corners].

I am sad that after paying hefty amount ,I didnt get FIRST TIME RIGHT product from sleepwell.

Imagine if I had not checked the defective piece & continue to use same with cover.This is not a product that I would expect from ISO certified mattress vendor.

Highly de-satisfied customer.I would never buy anything from sleepwell going forward.

i have purchased sleepwell well coir foam matress which is carring one year warranty and surprice to say due to bad quality of material it got sage every year first time it was replaced under warranty now second time it was againg sage and now theyare refuse to replace the same stating warranty lapes my question is there if material is heaving warranty of one year and it got fail to performe do we need to replace it every year at our cost ???? my advice DONT BUY SLEEP WELL coirfoam matresses require to change every year waste of money

I have ordered Sleepwell Zenith Mattress on 6 May 2010 from Shri Ramdhara Enterprises, shop No. 6, Shalimar Garden Apts, Aundh Road, Pune. At the time of order I have asked for the confirmed delivery date which was 7th May. The mattress didn’t got delivered as scheduled, so I have given him a call on 8th May, I got a answer that the mattress has been dispatched and it will be delivered today by 11 O’clock, but the mattress didn’t got delivered. This was repeated till 13th May.
On May 13th when I visited the shop, the owner refused to give me the mattress or the advance payment which I have made giving some lame excuses.

So please be aware about these white collar theves.

I had purchased a sleepwell mattress from "Floor Furnishers" Alkapuri Baroda on January 21st, this year.

After the item was delivered to me, I found that it wasn't the 'medium soft' mattress that I had selected. Insead, a very hard matterss has been sent to me. I am unable to sleep well on it, infact, I get up every morning with backache.

My wife had called the shop the very next day and was told that they had delivered the item I ordered.and that over a period it will become soft.(??) She called the shop again the next week ad was informed that the person we had transected with, has left his job and is gone away.

I have now come to the end of my patience and hence this complaint to you.

I purchased a sleepwell durafirm matress (on 18 dec ,2009)
but the stiching and sewing at the corners and the sides of one of the mattres was improper(was torn)and came to our knowledge when the plastic covers were removed(on 18th.dec itself) .
when this information was conveyed to the shopkeeper he calmly listend ,but cunningly asked for resending of the damaged mattresses to his shop and carrying of the new ones from his shop,and paying the rent for the transport of the matress.
i had initially paid for the transport of the damaged ones.
when i contested this he started talking harshly and i was really disappointed.

AS per the invoice No. 179, we have procured Sleepwell Brand Mattress [for the cost of Rs 6822 paid] Model Diomond Plus

The shop's man had come to our house and taken the measurement of the bed in order to make the mattress of appropriate size 70.5x34x4 inches. But the shop supplied us the mattress of the size 69x34x4 inches mattress. The shop keeper charged extra Rs 200 from us for cutting the original available mattress in the shop of dimension 72x36x4 inches costing Rs. 6622. On our complaint, the man from shop took the mattress back. The shop keeper had promised to provide the new mattress of correct dimensions as per the cost charged and the measurements taken by his supervisor of mattresses. He had charged Rs 1000 in advance. He did not supply the mattress of correct size. On our persuing the matter he called me at shop and sent a new mattress after charging complete money of Rs 6822. However the new mattress supplied to us by the shop even after complete payment was found to be defective in the sense that the length of the mattress was incresed by gluing extra sponge on the old mattress and sewing the cover by hand. We have complained to the shop keeper about this defective piece. But shopkeeper said, " You do complaint, what will you get after that."
We should be given fresh new mattress of correct dimension at home without any defect by the shop as we have paid fully along with extra transportation charges.

I bought a sleepwell matress from Geo Groups, Bangalore about 25 days ago . But when i slept on it, i figured that it was smelling bad ( some kind of rotten smell ) . I complained to the dealer and wanted a replacement . Some authorised person ( Mr Saleem ) from sleepwell company came and check it . He verified it but said this is different kind of problem and there cant be any replacement .

I have purchased a new bed for 8500/- with a two year replacement warrenty. However the bed has gone down form one side and i am unable to sleep on this bed. because if i sleep I had a back pain in the next morning so i have launched a complaint with the dealer (Dealer: Ramdhara in Khadki area, Pune) now this dealer is avoiding saying that the company is not responding and from last 2 months i have not got any reply from the dealer or from the company.

Firstly I want to know whether M/s Royal Trading Centre, 184, Pycrafts Road, Chennai, is the authorised distributors for sleepwell. I purchased durafirm size 72 "x 58" x 6" from them costing Rs.12, 800 during Sept 08, I gathered the information that matress bedspread is free and other distributors are offering discount. But i could not get such discount but I paid the full amount. They said that offer was over. I enquired the same with some other distributors in Chennai that the offer is still available. I felt that I was cheated. Now my sincere doubt is that whether the said company is your authrosised distributor 2) I want to know whether I can trust the durafirm purchased from them is genuine. 3) whether the price offered by them is correct.

Since i am planning to go in for similar mattress o[censored]r product, I request you to suggest whom I can purchase the similar item with competitive price and genuine product also.
