At SLV Hospital, Yelahanka, Bangalore, I took appointment for abdomen scanning at 4.30 pm. They asked me to drink as much as water when I arrive at the hospital.
I reached at 4.25 pm and found the doctor who is doing the scanning was not arrived. The receptionist asked me to wait for 5 minutes but I have waited till 4.50pm. My bladder was full and felt like getting rapid tiredness.
In-between the owner of the hospital Dr. Prasad came and saw that I am waiting there for scanning. He instructed the staff to hold me as much they can in Kannada. My friend who came with me was fluent in Kannada and understood their conversation.
I was feeling very tired and giddiness. Also had urge for going to the toilet. Finally I have to get out of the hospital by 5pm without scanning because the doctor never shown up.
I know water intoxication occurs when a person drinks so much water that the other nutrients in the body become diluted to the point that the vital organs can’t do their jobs.
Water intoxication causes an electrolyte imbalance that affects concentrations of the ion sodium, and it leads to a condition called Hyponatremia. In cases of water intoxication, it is extreme Hyponatremia that can ultimately cause coma and death.
I told the SLV Hospital staff that I am feeling sudden tiredness and giddiness but Dr. Prasad want me to wait till whenever the other doctor reaches the hospital.
I found Dr. Prasad is discourteous and impolite. Very rude to patents visiting his hospital. The hospital staffs at the reception to nursing staff are unprofessional and untrained.
I would have checked their review before going to SLV Hospital, Yelahanka. Now I found several other reviews about improper behaviour of receptionist and nursing staff. Also noticed that Dr.Prasad’s qualification is MBBS but he is the gynaecologist, paediatrician, cardiologist and neurologist in the hospital.
If any chance one can avoid this hospital would be better for health and wealth. The blood test at SLV Hospital is almost 3 times higher than other nearby hospitals.

Hospital — Hospital Staff
Dear Whomsoever,This is a complaint about Hindu Shaba Hospital Ghatkopar(W).
The nurses of This hospital (General ward 4 the floor) are not keeping any attention to the patients.
Even if the IV is reversed the nurses do not pay attention instead they take it as a joke and respond negatively. There is no hospital management to listen.
This is a great issue with respect to the human health.
Please take appropriate actions
Regards
Kanhaiya
