[Resolved] Snapdeal.com — arbitrary cancellation of order accepted | |||
I ordered for a hidesign handbag under order [protected] on 11 Dec 2014. The payment for the same was accepted on 11 Dec 2014 and I received an email confirming acceptance of the order. After 5 days ie on 16 Dec 2014 I was sent an email saying that there has been a delay in delivery of order. Subsequently on 17th Dec 2014 I am informed that the order was cancelled and that money will be refunded. Upon calling Snapdeal, I was informed that the bag was out of stock. Sadly the website realised it 5 days after accepting the order. The real time updation of inventory apparently is not important to a popular online shopping site as Snapdeal. Or was it because the prices have risen ??? Horrible experience. Shame Was this information helpful? | |||

We have initiated the refund for this order on Wed Dec 17 2014.
Please be informed that in case of prepaid order, money will be credited back to your respective bank account within 7-21 working days, Depending upon the bank.
