[Resolved] Snapdeal.com — Not getting replacement of pirated software | |||||
I had purchased 2 sets of "Windows 8.1 professional full pack" software from Snapdeal. It turned out to be pirated copy. When I informed to snapdeal about it, initially they declined to do anything saying I didn't informed them about it earlier. When I countered that software products has life time validity and warranty then they reluctantly agree to act on my complain. I got them all the proofs to prove the cheating as well as got it confirmed from Microsoft that products were pirated. Since beginning I was insisting on replacement and even after agreeing for replacement twice, Snapdeal is now saying that they cannot proceed with replacement. Reason they give is that they r tackling the issue with seller. But real reason is the difference amount which Snapdeal may hv to bear if they replace the product. They are not responding to my mails in timely manner and I have to continuously push them (by sending mail or calling them) for speedy resolution of this matter.
