I placed an order for Offlimits Tracking Shoes on 4th October 2025 through the Snapdeal app. The product was scheduled for delivery by approx. 13th October 2025, before Diwali. However, I was later informed of an operational delay at the courier’s end and was repeatedly assured by Snapdeal’s customer care team for four consecutive days that the product would be delivered within 24 hours.
After patiently waiting for nearly 20 days, I unexpectedly received a message on 24th October 2025 stating that my order had been cancelled by Snapdeal, and that a refund would be initiated — without my consent or any valid reason.
This is a clear case of deficiency in service and unfair trade practice under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. Such abrupt cancellation after multiple false assurances caused inconvenience and disappointment, ruining my Diwali plans.
I request:
Immediate re-delivery of the same product (or an equivalent alternative).
Appropriate compensation for the mental distress and inconvenience caused.
